Standard rooms have no AC and in peak summer your room is a furnace! Didn't indicate that anywhere while booking. So be aware of what you are booking. I was lucky to be able to move to superior room but if there is no availability you will suffer! They do provide fans ut are of little help. Also the bathrooms had mould and very not maintained properly. It's not poor one of cleaning but regular cleaning is below par. This has been highlighted by many guests but seems to be ignored. Don't get fooled by the shuttle either. It is combined for ibis and Ibis budget and sometimes there is no place in the bus. So be prepared to skip one bus at peak times. Overall best to avoid if possible!

I had a very pleasant stay at the Ibis Schiphol Airport. What I liked most was the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. From check-in to check-out, everyone at the reception was welcoming, helpful, and made us feel truly valued as guests. Another great advantage is the hotel’s location. Being so close to Schiphol Airport made our trip much easier and more convenient, especially with the shuttle service. As an opportunity for improvement, the hotel’s facilities could benefit from an update. Despite a renovation in 2018, the carpets and furniture appear quite worn and, in some areas, have an unpleasant smell. The overall infrastructure feels dated, and even the shuttle buses seem old. A new renovation would greatly enhance the guest experience.

My experience was unfortunately very disappointing. The check-in process was excellent. The reception staff were friendly, efficient, and checked me in quickly without unnecessary questions, which I really appreciated. However, everything changed once I entered the room. The first thing I noticed was the cleanliness. Although the floor appeared to have been cleaned, almost every other surface was dusty. There were thick layers of dust and cobwebs on the light fixtures above the reception desk, which was noticeable immediately upon arrival. The same issue continued in the room, where the curtains were covered in visible dust (see attached photos). I do not have allergies, but for guests who do, this amount of dust could be a serious health concern. The bathroom was also not cleaned properly. The mirror was covered with splashes and streaks left by a previous guest. The shower fixtures had a heavy buildup of soap residue and limescale. They were so dirty that I used paper towels to turn the handles before cleaning them myself. The sink and walls also had visible marks showing they had not been properly cleaned. The toilet flush button had yellow stains that could have been removed with a simple wipe. Another issue was that the shower door handle did not work properly and the door would not stay closed. While this may seem like a small issue in a single or double room, guests should still expect basic maintenance. Before checking out, I removed the bed sheets to make housekeeping's job a little easier. When I lifted the fitted sheet, I found numerous hairs on the mattress on the side where I had not slept. They were clearly not mine, as they were a different color and length. It would have taken only a minute or two to remove them with a lint roller before preparing the room for the next guest. Overall, the hotel has potential because the reception staff were welcoming and professional, but the standard of housekeeping was far below what I expect from any hotel. The room simply did not feel clean, and I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves the cleaning standards. Despite my negative experience with the cleanliness of the room, I would also like to mention several positive aspects of this hotel. The hotel grounds are beautiful, well-maintained, and very clean. There are lovely small lakes that create a relaxing atmosphere. The location is also excellent. It took me only about six minutes to walk from the bus stop to the hotel on a smooth, paved path, making it very easy even with luggage. The complimentary airport shuttle is another major advantage. It runs three times per hour, which is incredibly convenient and was one of the reasons I chose this hotel. The hotel also has attractive bars and restaurants on the property. Despite these facilities, my room was quiet with good sound insulation from outside. I could hear people in the hallway quite clearly, but outside noise was not an issue. If the housekeeping standards matched the quality of the hotel's location, facilities, and grounds, this would be a place I would gladly return to. Unfortunately, the level of cleanliness during my stay fell far below my expectations.

Was staying in standard twinfor 3 Nights. Room was small compared to similarly priced offerings from Holiday Inn Express. My room mates bed was broken and no one fixed it. The bodywash was empty and I told front desk about this yet no housekeeping staff refilled it till I was there. As for the good part, Shuttle service is the best thing about this place. Given how inaccessible it is, shuttle service to Schiphol Airport is godsend, unless you want to take taxi. Front desk staff was helpful, needed electric kettle and they complied, needed late check-out and they complied without any extra cost. In short, hotel is good, staff is good, just a few niggles regarding the room else everything was good. Almost forgot to mention about Breakfast, while the spread was good, few items were missing and it was noticable. No Hash Brown or Chicken Nugget, it was always Baked Beans, Scrambled Eggs and either Bacon or Sausage.

Really clean hotel. At first I thought the room was small but once inside it had everything you needed and also space for a folded wheelchair. The cleaners came in everyday and replaced towels and emptied the bin. Extremely comfortable firm beds and a really big shower. Breakfast was lovely too with cereals. a selection of breads, fruit, pastries, yogurts, cold meats and cheeses, boiled eggs, juice and tea and coffee.

A great hotel for staying the night before an early flight, which was exactly what I needed. It has everything you need, including a good burger bar. It’s not the cheapest option, but you’re practically next to the airport, so the convenience is hard to beat. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the shower is excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful. I’d definitely stay here again before an early departure.

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ We had a very good stay at ibis Schiphol Amsterdam Airport. The room was functional and a good size, and the bathroom was reasonably spacious. The additional guest restrooms throughout the hotel were especially helpful when traveling with family. We appreciated the escalators, which made getting around much faster than waiting for elevators. The gym was good, and the souvenir shop was very convenient for last-minute purchases. The laundry room was also useful and included an iron and ironing board, although it would have been even better if these could be borrowed for use in the room. The free airport shuttle was reliable and convenient. We were also able to check in early by signing up for the hotel's free online membership program, which was a nice bonus. One of the best features is the location. The hotel is directly across from a bus terminal, making it very easy to use public transportation to get around Amsterdam and the surrounding area. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets were convenient, but the food itself was fairly average and not a highlight of the stay. Overall, this is a comfortable and convenient hotel with good amenities and excellent transportation access. We'd happily stay here again.

It’s always a pleasure staying at Ibis Schiphol. It’s in a very convenient location close to the airport, and the free transfers are a great addition. The rooms are comfortable, and the bar has a great cosy vibe. Check in was a breeze - Manuel gave some great information on an easy way to get into the city via bus which is something I didn’t know after many years staying here.
