A great stay in Annecy. Perfect location away from the center noise and tourists. The room was spacious, well decorated, quiet at all times and all the amenities we needed. Service was very good (cleaning, room service, reception, spa, restaurant, valet parking). The hotel is expensive but there is value in it.

This hotel is in a great location! It is on the lake surrounded by beautiful mountains. The walk into the center of Annecy is wonderful. The path to town is shaded by trees on one side and the beautiful lake and mountains on the other side. There is a separate path for bicycles and a separate path for walking. After a busy day touring the town, it is so nice to return to this hotel with a lovely terrace overlooking the lake. We ended up eating dinner on the terrace at the hotel each night, because the food was delicious, and it was so relaxing. This is the only place to stay, if you are visiting Annecy. I highly recommend it.

I'm sorry to report that I was disappointed. It's a magnificent building in a beautiful spot with very helpful staff and yet ... We booked a room with a terrace as there is no outdoor garden. If you want to sit outside, you are on the main terrace fighting for space with those wanting a meal or a drink. So our private terrace was lovely with a wonderful view but that came at a cost and for the price charged the room was quite ordinary. It was smaller than I would have expected for the price. The pillows were the lumpy synthetic kind and the curtains didn't meet. We enjoyed breakfast but found the other meals we had unremarkable and slightly preferred the park-side brasserie attached to the hotel but not run by it. As other reviewers mention, it's an attractive lakeside walk into the old town which is beautiful but in August it was heaving everywhere. You could barely see the pavement in the old town and walking there was a bit like joining a long queue with cyclists darting in and out.

I had a wonderful stay at the Imperial Palace Annecy. The hotel is beautifully located right on Lake Annecy, with stunning views and easy access to the lakeside walking paths. The room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and professional throughout my stay. One of the highlights was the private sunset boat tour on the lake. Seeing the mountains, the crystal-clear water, and the changing colors of the sky during sunset was an unforgettable experience and one of the most memorable parts of my visit to Annecy. Another outstanding experience was renting an e-bike directly from the hotel. The process was easy and convenient, and cycling around Lake Annecy was an amazing way to explore the area. The bike was in excellent condition, and the route around the lake offered spectacular scenery at every turn. Overall, the combination of the excellent hotel, the private sunset boat tour, and the outstanding e-bike rental experience made this a truly exceptional stay. I would highly recommend the Imperial Palace to anyone visiting Annecy and would gladly stay here again.

One of the best hotels, which I ever stayed! Amazing view on the lake. Large comfortable rooms, high floors. Very good breakfast and restaurants. Special thanks for Marine, she is beautiful in everything! And respect to the Jean-Jaques - he is the best in restaurant!

Hotel is very beautiful and staff very very good. Not giving a 5 stars only because we were with kids and they didn’t have anything for them. I understand this is a cassino hotel, but I think they should offer at least a small playground or something like that. Definitely not recommended for people with kids.

Extremely overpriced for what it is. Lake view is nice, but only a select few rooms have that view, and expect to be charged almost triple to see it. A friend and I stayed in the standard room, and payed almost €750 for what felt like a premier inn. The staff are rude, and took every opportunity to be dismissive and unhelpful. As two younger women we were not treated with the same level of respect as the older people staying at the hotel, despite paying the same amount to be there. The spa is awful, essentially a standard pool and a Sauna. They advertise the spa as revolutionary, and say you get free access. When it is infact only one hour free that you get, not sure who is actually paying to access the spa on top of that. Overall, would not come here again, and I suggest everyone else spends their money elsewhere.
