This is a great spot to stay! It's located on a street with great access to food, bars, motortaxis, and sightseeing. The staff were all very attentive and generous, and we even got our room upgraded for free when we arrived. The only downside is that it's a joint location with a restaurant, so you can hear music from the room until maybe 10pm, but it's not super loud.

This is an outstanding hotel in every way. The location across from La Merced is central with views of Volcan de Agua, yet the rooms are quiet. The rooms, surrounding a pleasant courtyard, are nicely decorated, and our mattress and linens were comfortable. The staff is exceptionally attentive. It's a bit more than some hotels in Antigua but a great value for the price. We will definitely return.

If you’re looking for where to stay in Antigua, save this ✨ I stayed at Casa Realeza and honestly, the location is PERFECT—right in front of La Merced Church 😍 The hotel is spotless, everything is very well maintained, and it has such a peaceful vibe from the moment you arrive. They offer rooms with a jacuzzi (perfect to relax after a long day of exploring 👀✨). Breakfast is included, they welcome you with a complimentary drink upon arrival (such a nice touch 💛), and you also get access to the church, which makes the experience even more special. And something that truly made a difference was the service… Orfa, the receptionist, was amazing from the very beginning. Super kind, attentive, and always making sure we felt welcome. Definitely a place I would come back to without thinking twice 💛

It was an amazing experience 🥰 very beautiful hotel. I stayed in the Grand Suite Jacuzzi. And fell in love with the bed and Jacuzzi 🙈🙈🙈 very clean and comfortable. Right in front is the Church la Mercedes. They also have a restaurant right in the hotel.

A once in a lifetime experience to visit during Semana Santa and stay in a beautiful hotel just across from La Merced Cathedral. Our beautiful room on the second floor was well appointed. The services and staff are wonderful! A special thank you to Ms. Orfa! She helped with all aspects of our trip from travel from the airport to reservations etc. She made our experience even more special!

Henri, the manager and his team are fantastic. I came here with my elderly parents and they were wonderful helping us find the right room and carrying our bags around. Everyone here is so kind. And the rooms are beautiful!

All was good except for the fact that the room was a bit small but this not really an issue. What is an issue is that the hotel is also a restaurant and so all the noise from the people eating just in front of the rooms is really annoying. Also one day there was no water during the night but then early in the morning the water was back. I would have imagine that the hotel had a water tank, but it doesn’t seem to be so. Everything else was ok. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and a huge tv almost as big as the bed. I payed 500$ (including taxes) for two nights I would have expected better for that price.

Though we only stayed over for a night, this hotel pleasantly surprised us. The rooms were slightly small, but extremely clean and tidy. The highlight for this hotel has to be its location — it is centrally located and extremely convenient to walk around. They even offered us breakfast right at our doorstep. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Antigua.
