They were nice. River view room is great, but the glass has no lock, anybody can open it easily from outside. We were a bit scared due to this, but nothing happened. They kitchen guy was amazing, have us breakfast packed when checked out early.

This is a highly recommended hotel who wish to spend their free time in the heart of the Nubian village. It is located very close to the bustling tourist street market and is on close proximity to the Nile river at the west bank of Aswan. I would say a stay at this place would give one an entry point to African culture. The food served in the hotel's restaurant is very tasty and I vouch for their chicken stew which is one of the most tender chicken I ever had. The room is spacious, well maintained, got a private balcony overlooking the Nile river at one end and the front porch overlooks the central campfire area. A swimming pool is currently under construction and once it is ready one can take a dip both at the pool and in the river Nile. They have add on paid services like massages and aroma therapy, just in case if anyone is interested

The hotel is in the heart of Nubian village, next to the water. Very nice staff. The restaurant is pretty good. The included breakfast was very generous with fried eggs, bread, jam, honey, oatmeal, yogurt, cheese/olive plate. Our 3bed room was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated /painted. Cons: very hard to drive to the hotel. We had to use tuktuk to get to/from hotel. Slightly inconvenient because tours charged extra for tuktuk. Overall, very fun/interesting experience.

Kato Waidi Nubian House is magical. The beautiful Nubian artwork in the Nubian Village and through this affordable, modest hotel inspired my creativity. I enjoyed the laid back friendly atmosphere. I felt at home. And the staff was extremely accommodating. One of the special benefits is the affordable airport transport. Kato Waidi Nubian House sits on the River Nile. It was a blessing to journey down the Nile on the boat into town to see the sunrise and feel the song of Ancient people through the whispers of the River Nile. My stay at Kato Waidi Nubian House lives in my heart. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a comfortable environment that is child friendly. Tipping is part of the Egyptian tourist culture and I found myself wanting to share because of the profound humility and generosity of everyone I met. And the Kato Waidi Nubian Village has a vibrant Bazaar with wonderful artwork and souvenirs to remember the journey!

We had the best time , location is perfect near to everything, the view from the balcony was astounding, the staff really treated us like family . The food was really delicious and we loved it so much . Definitely recommended and we'll be going there again ❤️❤️❤️

We had an excellent meal at this hotel restaurant. The chicken was incredibly tender, honestly one of the best we’ve had, and it was served with a wide variety of very generous side dishes. We also tried their warm dessert, which was delicious. Portions were abundant and prices were more than reasonable. Highly recommended for quality and value.

Very cute Nubian style house with nice food and staff. We didn't stay here and just stopped for cafe, but had a great time! If you wanna look at the Nile, boats and beautiful Hause while having nice drinks and something to eat, it's the best place!

Cute rooms, very hospitable staff and owner. Great view of Nile. Clean rooms and in the Nubian village what else i can say
