We’ve been fortunate enough to stay at Potato Head several times now, and every visit reminds us why we keep coming back. One of the most special things about returning is that so many of the team remember us. From the moment we arrive, we’re greeted with genuine warmth, friendly smiles, and hospitality that makes us feel like we’re coming home rather than checking into a hotel. The property itself is spectacular. The architecture is stunning, the pool overlooking the beach is beautiful, the breakfast is exceptional, and the facilities are first class. We also love the complimentary wellness activities, particularly the rooftop meditation sessions and the yoga classes, which add another level to the experience. It’s perfectly positioned right on the beachfront while also being within easy walking distance of so many fantastic restaurants, cafés and bars. What truly sets Potato Head apart, however, is the people. Every member of the team goes above and beyond, but we’d especially like to recognise Fysh, Luhde, Devi, Gouna, Trisna and Dedy. Their kindness, attentiveness and genuine care made our stay incredibly memorable. They always took the time to make us feel welcome, looked after every detail with a smile, and consistently delivered service that exceeded our expectations. It’s rare to find a place where the service feels so authentic and personal. The team doesn’t just provide excellent hospitality, they create an atmosphere where guests genuinely feel valued and at home. Thank you to everyone at Potato Head for another unforgettable stay. We already can’t wait to return.

This was my second time staying here, and it was just as wonderful as the first! The staff is very friendly, the breakfast was amazing, and the view was breathtaking. Great place, great food, great service! It was our anniversary, and we were upgraded to the ocean suites. Location is in the heart of seminyak! The room and amenities were clean and well-equipped. The hotel not only offers convenience but also an experience. Overall, I will definitely be back!

We had another wonderful stay at Desa Potato Head Bali in May 2026. It always feels so good to come back here, almost like coming home. A special thank you to Yoshi at Kaum. His service was great, and he was very helpful in recommending dishes when we were unsure what to choose. It made our dining experience even more enjoyable. It was also great seeing Juni again at breakfast. We remembered him from our previous stay, when he served the Jamu and pastries. His service remains excellent, warm, and attentive. A heartfelt thank you as well to Martha from housekeeping. I left a note saying how much I loved the coconut chocolate cookies, and she kindly prepared extra for us. That was such a thoughtful gesture and truly above and beyond. It is always such a pleasure to return to a clean, refreshed, and beautifully cared-for room. The team at Desa Potato Head continues to make every stay memorable with their warmth, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality. We look forward to coming back again.

Such a beautiful lifestyle hotel and an amazing overall experience. I was a little unsure at first, but after staying here, I completely understand why Potato Head is ranked among the top hotels in the world. It’s more than just a hotel, it feels like a creative village. The design, architecture, music, beach club, and atmosphere all come together to create a really cool, relaxed vibe. There’s always something happening, but it still feels peaceful and inspiring at the same time. The rooms were stylish and comfortable, the food was very good, and the whole place has that effortless Bali energy. Service can vary slightly depending on the time or team member, but overall everyone was friendly and helpful during our 4-night stay. Waking up, grabbing coffee, watching the sunset by the beach, music in the background… it just feels special. We truly loved our time here and will definitely come back next time we’re in Bali. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place with great vibes, not just a place to sleep.

We had an amazing stay at Desa Potato Head it is one of those places that really lives up to the hype. What stood out straight away was their strong focus on sustainability. The chairs, coasters and other items made from recycled plastic bottle tops! Little extras like unlimited drinking water, ice buckets in the room and even cocktail-making facilities with complimentary drinks made it feel like a really elevated experience. And I love a turn down service!!!! One of our favourite parts of each day was breakfast on the day beds around the pool such a relaxing and picturesque way to start the morning. We stayed for 7 nights and the location couldn’t have been better. Right in the heart of Seminyak, with heaps to do, eat and explore, all within easy reach. The only small downside was storage — with two people, there wasn’t a lot of space to fully unpack and settle in comfortably. Other than that, I honestly couldn’t fault it. Beautiful, unique and a really memorable place to stay. Would absolutely go back.

It’s my first time staying the Potato Head. I don’t know about your hospitality, but my girlfriend has been here for 3 times, she was expecting feeling of home again but instead, we were quite disappointed by how we are arranged at the very end of the building, especially the ocean view studio, it was not a very good view tbh. Also this morning when we ere waiting for the poolside daybed during the breakfast, the lady who was in charge of arranging our seats were give us attitude about it. I’m giving this feedback because we truly hope that we can come back again, but having better experience.

i love this hotel!!!! staff was sooo friendly and helpful, shoutout to kak aha who welcomed us and introduced us to the hotel & our rooms! they provided us with complimentary alcohol in our room, together with a whole range of instruments to create a cocktail. this hotel was so fun to stay in, breakfast was nice too! i will definitely be coming back here !! <3

Easily one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Desa Potato Head blends incredible design, music, and atmosphere with world-class hospitality and a real sustainability ethos. The rooftop, the sunsets, the food, the energy, all of it was unforgettable. Already planning our return next year. A truly special place.
