Google· 3 months agoA hotels main goal in my opinion should be to make the guest feel at home! And the Four seasons Bangkok certainly delivers that. From the moment I walked through the doors I was greeted warmly and made to feel like I was home. They greeted us with honor and my baby with an adorable gift and when we made it to the rooms the room was spotless, bright, well maintained and homie. They provided amazing amenities and a special adorable amenitie for our baby we were traveling with as well as a crib fit for a queen. The bars had delicious drinks, cocktails and most importantly amazing service. Even when I was sitting on their beautiful promenade the hotel manager Christina came up to my family with a warm welcome as if we were the most frequent guest at her hotel. All in all this was the best hotel experience I’ve ever had by far and I highly recommend you stay at this resort as it definitely lived up to the reputation as one of the best hotels in the world. And yes I wish my home was a four seasons so mission accomplished staff at this fine hotel!!

Tripadvisor· 3 weeks agoThe Four Seasons Hotel in Bangkok is a beautifully designed building wherever you go, the attention to detail is awesome. We spent a night here for a short staycation.|The room features a beautiful, spacious bathroom and the rest of the space is just as carefully put together. Everything felt considered and refined. The staff were well mannered and genuinely lovely, they kept complimenting my girlfriend, who was getting ready for dinner. She did look stunning, and their words made me feel so proud of having her by my side. We started our stay with lunch in the lobby, though we were quite disappointed by the quality and taste of the food. We ordered a sandwich and a focaccia that honestly could have come from a 7/11 at a fraction of the price. The french fries were good, but that's a hard thing to get wrong. Lunch left us underwhelmed enough that we decided to skip dinner at the hotel as well. In the evening, we returned for drinks at the Social BKK Club. The bar was gorgeous, again with wonderful staff. We ordered two cocktails, one of them having lychee. My girlfriend was particularly into the lychee garnish, and without missing a beat, the staff (Ekar?Igor?) brought her a few extra. A real eye for what guests enjoy, and a lovely gentleman to have a conversation with. The gym has everything you could ask for, and the view of the river is stunning. The garden is equally beautiful, whether you're looking at it from your room or sitting in it yourself. In the morning we ordered pancakes, which unfortunately were also a letdown.|Overall, it was a great stay. The Four Seasons lives up to its name in most ways, they just have some room to grow when it comes to the food.

Trip.com· 3 months agoPros • Several lovely restaurants, a huge riverside setting, and a high-quality pool make this feel like a resort in the centre of Bangkok. • Quiet room, decorated to a high standard. • A truly supererogatory level of hospitality displayed by the staff. For example, the concierge exercised remarkable patience and perspicacity in helping us book a flight, bus, and ferry to Koh Samui at check-out, as direct flights were fully booked over New Year. • Nice bar and adjoining cigar lounge with a good selection of Cubans. • Good value for money.Cons • The Italian chef refused to put pineapple on my pizza — despite me paying over £800 a night. It felt unnecessarily petty, especially given that many so-called “traditions” are relatively modern inventions, later elevated and neatly pressed into “national identity.” • Some guests were not very sociable (and occasionally plain rude), though the Four Seasons can hardly be blamed for this. Sadly, it often seems to come with the price point, with so much new money around in many hotels.

What impressed me most from the beginning was the architecture by Jean-Michel Gathy. The hotel embraces a contemporary design with modern minimalism, where high ceilings and expansive spaces are beautifully complemented by refined details such as wing-shaped lighting and elegant orchid arrangements. The atmosphere feels modern, artistic, and warmly welcoming at the same time. The rooms are exceptionally spacious, featuring high ceilings and full floor-to-ceiling glass. Premium materials are used throughout, and regardless of the room category, the views are consistently impressive. The rooms are highly tech-forward, with automatic curtains and an in-room tablet that allows guests to control all room functions, as well as call or chat with staff. What stood out the most, however, was the service. The staff are professional, attentive, and deeply caring without ever overreacting. They remember guests and anticipate needs in a remarkable way. For example, when my father became unwell, the staff checked pharmacies across the area late that night to help us find medicine, and they continued to ask about him during breakfast the next day. On another occasion, my sister continued her workout while I had to leave early; the staff proactively provided her with a key card when she finished the gym without any request from us. Their ability to anticipate guest behaviour is truly impressive. On our final evening, staff noticed us from a distance, approached to assist with luggage, and the entire team warmly said goodbye with genuine smiles. Food quality is exceptional. We ordered lamb ribs via room service late at night, yet the dish arrived perfectly prepared. The lamb was tender and juicy, complemented by a balanced sweet-and-tangy sauce that created a memorable flavour. We also ordered mushroom soup, which tasted fresh and highlighted the quality of the ingredients. Staff asked about our preferred doneness and serving temperature before delivery, and each dish was beautifully presented. In terms of location, the hotel is ideal for relaxation thanks to its quiet riverside setting, although it is slightly less convenient for exploring central Bangkok. For this reason, it is best suited toward the end of a trip when you want to slow down and enjoy a resort-style stay. Make sure to stay for more than two nights to fully experience the property and its facilities. It is also recommended to reserve the hotel boat in advance if you plan to visit ICONSIAM, as this is one of the most convenient and enjoyable ways to travel across the river. One suggestion for improvement: although I booked through an agent, the check-in process took around 30 minutes. A faster check-in experience would make the arrival even smoother. For anyone considering this hotel, it stands out as one of the best in Bangkok across architecture, service, dining, and overall experience. Book it with confidence — there is little reason to look elsewhere.

A 2 Michelin Key property and ranked the #2 Hotel in the World, it does not rely on statements but on consistency. Every space invites you to linger, observe, and slow down, which is exactly what a perfect afternoon should feel like. Signature Afternoon Tea at The Lounge mirrors that philosophy beautifully. Savory courses feel elevated yet approachable, from heirloom tomato with stracciatella to Balik salmon and Japanese flying squid with smoked potato foam. The petit mignon selection is playful and elegant, leading into thoughtful surprises and a comforting finish of chocolate, caramelized cocoa nibs, and vanilla brioche paired with soft serve. It is not just an afternoon tea, but a carefully choreographed experience that matches the hotel’s global standing without ever feeling excessive.

Google· 3 months agoWhy 2 stars? Well the experience was surprisingly not as good as I would expect. First the room, I booked the room with terrace close to the river, and it turned out to be a mistake. This room is tiny compared to let’s say Kempinski Sindhorn, ratio price value here is not good. This room is extremely noisy at night, due to the endless party boat or tug boat. Second the service, while the staffs are lovely, common sense should prevail. Room not ready yet? Invite us to the pool area and bring our luggage in the changing room. Give us mosquitoes repellent, room was full of them. Don’t close the pool at 7pm, people want to enjoy it as it is the only thing to do there. Also don’t open it so late a 9am. Lastly the location, it is great to be next to the river, but don’t put the most expensive rooms close to it unless you have triple layered windows for the noise, mandarin oriental is doing well with that.

Google· Edited a month agoWe stayed at the Four Seasons Chao Phraya River for a week in April 2026 and had a great experience Overall. We were pickedup from the Airport in a comfortable BMW 7 series and driven to the hotel. As we arrived, welcome Drinks and cold towels were presented and we got an extensive tour of the property. The hotel property is what stands out. Very nice interior design with floor to ceiling windows, high ceilings and lots of art scattered throughout the hotel. Plenty of dining options, bars with good selection of drinks and multiple pools. Rooms were spacious, beds comfortable and toiletries high quality. The hotel also offers a range of free activities such as behind the scenes of the Hotelbar. Service was overall very good, but there were still a couple of hiccups such as multiple forgotten drink orders at the pool, starters not getting served for 45 minutes at the Chao Praya Terrace or the hotel Sommelier just disappearing without saying a word after having spent 90 minutes together during an eight course dinner. On another instance the Hotel-Chauffeur answered private phone calls on loudspeaker during the car ride which is unacceptable. Room Service was exceptional and fast, Service at breakfast buffet was on top of the game as well. Overall i would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone Looking for a quiet retreat within the bustling citiy and I hope Four Seasons is able to iron out the Service issues we experienced.

Google· 5 months agoFrom what I hear this is the 2nd best hotel in the world and I am here to tell you that it earned every bit of this title. The service was immaculate. The food in their hotel restaurant including room service was so delicious and the presentation was so pretty. There are many things to do in the area that's a short Grab (their version on uber) away sobthe location is in a great spot. If you are adventurous, you can take the train to Terminal 21 (mall) as it's walking distance from the hotel. The hotel is on the water and the views plus free access to their river boats to access other shopping areas and activities is right outside the hotel. Hands down if you are ever in Bangkok, visit Four Seasons. You will not be disappointed.
