Google· 3 months agoI gave a five star rating for this hotel even though my first impression would have been no stars and a bad review. I had traveled well over 30 hours and arrived to be put in a rabbit-hutch of a room that smelled mouldy. Admittedly, my (Thai) partner had done the booking with economy as her first priority..... and that is what we got. After a chat with the (lovely) reception staff, we were put in a much nicer room. The next day I upgraded to a suite (800 baht more) and it was fab. Everyone was so accommodating and helpful and my first impression was changed, especially when we went to breakfast - very nice! We ended up staying an extra night. Be mindful of what room you are booking as a few extra baht makes a very big difference.

Trip.com· 5 months agoGalleria 12 is located in an excellent spot down an alley in the middle of downtown. It is super close to Pier 12 which has a ton of cheap and tasty food options. The pool is quite relaxing if you can ignore the construction next door. The gym comes stocked with a multipurpose machine and other equipment, but it’s rather cramped. We really enjoyed the breakfast which offered good Thai and western options. The main issue we had with the rooms was that the soundproofing was quite terrible. Our room was connected to a neighboring room by two locked doors. Unfortunately, the soundproofing was so bad that I could clearly hear my neighbors’ conversation when they were simply talking. When they were watching TV, it felt as if it was in the same room. If you’re a light sleeper, you might have a hard time.

Google· 3 months agoI don't understand the reviews about the street being stinky. What are these people in this hotel off the street supposed to do about it? The staff are great here. I had packages delivered and they took care of it until I came. No tips involved. You might say it is bare minimum service but it was appreciated! Their golf cart to Sukhumvit is a nice touch. Especially when it is 36 degrees and you get very hot walking. Give them a chance to impress you.

Tripadvisor· 4 months agoMe and my wife enjoyed our stay here but it wasn't the best hotel. The location is great and they provide a shuttle to the end of the road, theres a street market at the end and Asok metro only a short walk. The hotel is clean and good value for money. The pool was very warm water, not sure why its not chilled more and the chlorine level seems far too high. Also there was construction work near the hotel which made the pool visit less enjoyable. Room was a small size but comfortable. We would be happy to stay again, although not our first choice.

Google· 4 months agoI chose this hotel primarily because of its convenient location, as I had business in the area. Unfortunately, the room itself was quite disappointing. * The room was very small and felt stuffy, with poor ventilation. * The liquid soap in the bathroom appeared to have been previously used and had not been replaced before my arrival. * The towels were old and worn out. * One of the pillowcases was torn, which gave an impression of poor housekeeping standards. That said, I would like to compliment the staff. They were friendly, polite, and always greeted guests with a smile, which made the stay more pleasant. The location is certainly the hotel’s strongest advantage, and the staff provided good service. However, the condition of the room and attention to cleanliness did not meet my expectations. If location is your main priority, this hotel may be suitable. Otherwise, there may be better options available nearby.

Google· 6 months agoQuaint little place in Sukhumvit soi 12. Ideally located in a lane.Accessible to the metro station of asok for both the BTS and MRT lines. Close to Terminal 21 mall and walkable distance to Banjikiti park. Lots of eating places in the area and seven 11 s. The breakfast at the hotel could have been better. Very few veg options and no indian food here. Good for a stay but better to have bfast outside unless you are happy with bread and omelette. Helpful reception staff .

Google· 6 months agoHad a really lovely stay here 🤍 The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-designed everything felt fresh and relaxing after a long day in Bangkok. Service was definitely a highlight. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel smooth and welcoming ✨ Location is good and convenient, though not the absolute center of everything but still easy to get around. Overall, such a cozy and well-balanced stay. I’d happily come back again 😊

Google· 4 months agoVERY BAD DON’T Go Very disappointing experience at Hotel Gallery 12 Sukhumvit Bangkok. The hospitality was extremely poor, especially from the reception staff. There were three receptionists on duty, and their attitude towards guests was unprofessional and unfriendly. I was traveling with my 19-month-old baby, yet instead of being helpful and understanding, they made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Every time we approached the reception desk, they gave unpleasant looks and seemed annoyed by our presence. The customer service was cold, rude, and lacked basic courtesy. As a guest, I expected kindness, respect, and professionalism, but unfortunately, I experienced the opposite. The staff showed no empathy toward families with young children and made what should have been a pleasant stay very stressful. The hotel may have a good location, but good hospitality is what truly matters, and this hotel failed badly in that area. I would not recommend this hotel to families or anyone expecting friendly customer service. There are many better hotels in Bangkok where guests are treated with respect and made to feel welcome.
