This is by far one of the best place I had ever stayed in, not due to the property itself but the experience and services provided by their manager!!! Didn’t get the chance to ask for his name but he upgraded my room for free to the best suite ever because he saw it’s my birthday and wanted to make me extra happy and cherished. And I 100% definitely felt this way and pampered. Even though not all staff is super friendly but most of them are quite good even the door bell boy and room service housekeeping team!! I don’t usually post reviews but when I do it’s really that good and I would definitely love to come back again in the future! Also it’s located in a very convenient and nice area and there’s a 7-11 just right around the corner. Value wise is also unbelievable! Super amazing experience!

Extremely, extremely disappointed. This was my third stay at JC Kelvin Sathorn Bangkok Hotel. I’ve always liked this hotel for its room types (suite, one-bedroom with living room, and two-bedroom with living room) — very spacious — and the location is convenient, not far from the nearest BTS station. However, this time the overall experience was clearly worse than before. First, the breakfast selection has dropped a lot compared to previous stays. During my 4-night stay, on 2 days the hot food was mostly spicy items such as curry and Indian-style dishes. The options felt limited and not balanced for guests who prefer mild flavors. Second, the hotel introduced a new system where you can scan a QR code in the room to contact housekeeping for amenities, repairs, or cleaning. Unfortunately, it only worked once for me — after the first attempt, my requests were often “seen” but ignored, and the items I asked for never arrived. The idea is convenient, but the execution and follow-up are poor. The most frustrating part was the late check-out arrangement. Due to my schedule, I requested a late check-out until 9:00 PM. The front desk told me it would cost 2,500 THB, which I agreed to and paid immediately by credit card. But the next morning (the day I was supposed to check out originally), while I was still resting, the front desk kept calling my room to push me to check out. I explained that I had already paid for the late check-out, but they repeatedly said there was “no record” and asked me to go down to the lobby to sort it out. They kept insisting there was no record until I showed my payment receipt. Only then did they call other staff to confirm and finally find the record of my paid late check-out until 9 PM. On top of that, they then claimed that if it were one full extra day the fee would be 3,500 THB, which contradicted what I was told earlier. Even though I didn’t need a full extra day, it was obvious there was poor internal handover and management. After disturbing my rest, there was no apology at all, which made the service feel careless and disrespectful. Overall, this stay was much worse than my previous visits. I hope the hotel improves the breakfast variety, housekeeping response, and front desk communication/handover in the future.

I stayed at this hotel for one week with friends, in a Family Suite. The staff were very pleasant, always welcoming and helpful, which is a real positive point. The breakfast was also good, although the selection is quite limited for a hotel of this category. However, I was extremely disappointed by the cleanliness of the rooms. For a 5-star hotel, this is simply unacceptable. The Family Suite was really dirty, and the bed sheets were not changed once during my entire stay, which is very shocking for this level of standard. Only the towels were replaced daily. That being said, I would like to point out that the beds are extremely comfortable, which slightly made up for this negative aspect.

We had a wonderful stay and were genuinely impressed from the moment we checked in. The team surprised us with an upgrade to a larger room. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, and it made such a difference to have that extra space to unwind. Throughout our stay, every interaction felt warm and genuine. It's rare to find a hotel where the service feels truly personal rather than just polished.We'll absolutely be back. Highly recommend.

Hi, JC Kevin, since you are not responding on my emails we can communicate here. I stayed at your hotel from July 13 to July 17 and my reservation was made through Booking.com. We arrived between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM, and since our room was not yet ready, we were asked to return at 3:00 PM to collect the room key. Please review your CCTV footage between 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM. During that time, I personally handed 2,000 THB to your staff as the security deposit. I have traveled many times, and I would never make an issue over a small amount of money if I were not certain about what happened. What I cannot accept is simply being told to let it go without a proper investigation. What was even more disappointing was the attitude shown toward me. Instead of taking my concern seriously and investigating what happened, I was simply told that I should just accept the loss. That is not the level of professionalism or customer service I expected from your hotel. I am willing to pursue this matter through the appropriate channels if necessary. Please review your CCTV footage carefully. If the footage genuinely shows that I did not hand over the deposit, then let me know. However, if it shows that I did, I expect the hotel to take responsibility and resolve this matter appropriately. Please note that I went back and forth to your reception several times between 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM. For that reason, I am requesting that you review the CCTV footage for the entire period from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, not just between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM. The security deposit was handed over during one of those visits, so reviewing only the first hour would not be sufficient.

Great value. Had a 2 bedroom suite with 1 bedroom with king bed, 1 bedroom with 2 singles. Two bathrooms - one with tub+ shower for one bedroom and a bathroom with shower for the second. Breakfast buffet with asian and continental choices. Good size swimmingpool on 2. floor. Clean and great staff. Hotel is somewhat dated, but room was spacious and good value. 7-11 around the corner. Approx. 15 min walk to Skytrain.

Honestly, after staying here three years in a row, this place has become my home away from home in Bangkok. It’s rare to find a hotel where you see the same friendly faces year after year, but the staff here are so consistent and genuinely polite. They don’t just "handle" requests; they’re incredibly prompt and actually seem happy to help, which makes such a difference when you're traveling. The Sathorn location is the perfect "best of both worlds" situation. You’re close enough to everything to make sightseeing easy, but it’s tucked away just enough to be a quiet, safe little sanctuary when you need to unwind. Having a 7-11 basically in the same compound is a total game-changer for late-night snacks, and there’s a local market and laundry shop right nearby and that's incredibly convenient! You're not far from malls too! The rooms are spacious and they’re kept spotless with daily cleaning, so it always feels fresh when you walk back in. I also spent a good amount of time at the pool and gym, which are great perks, and you definitely shouldn't miss the rooftop bar for the views. Another highlight is the breakfast spread. From the omelette station and fresh fruit to the rotating curries and noodles, I was genuinely spoilt for choice every single morning. It’s the one place I keep coming back to, and I can’t recommend it enough.

One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. We loved everything about it: the cleanliness, the room, the location, the food, the personnel, etc. The weather was great, even though our stay was in July. We went on different tours during which we saw and embraced the beautiful and breathtaking views, the gorgeous temples of Bangkok and the diversity in Chinatown. The lights during the night were astonishing, as well as the cruise that we had along the river. We also went to a tour to Ayutthaya that we booked from the hotel itself. The locals were very hospitable, kind and friendly. We recommend this hotel to you.
