I recently stayed at Le Méridien Bangkok, and what turned a good stay into an unforgettable one was the extraordinary care I received from the Club Lounge staff — specifically Tia, Jommy, and Martin. From the moment I stepped into the lounge, it was clear these three go far beyond the standard definition of hospitality. Every request, no matter how small, was met with genuine warmth and attentiveness. Tia anticipated my needs before I even had to ask. Jommy's friendly, personal touch made the lounge feel less like a hotel amenity and more like a home away from home. Martin's professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile — whether it was a special request or just a thoughtful recommendation — made every visit to the lounge a highlight of my day. What struck me most was how consistent and sincere their service was. This wasn't a one-off moment of good luck — it was a pattern of genuine care, shown by all three of them, throughout my entire stay. In an industry where "service with a smile" can often feel scripted, Tia, Jommy, and Martin made it feel real. Le Méridien Bangkok is fortunate to have staff of this caliber, and I sincerely hope management recognizes them for it — they deserve far more credit and appreciation than they typically receive. If you're staying at this property, I hope you get the chance to be looked after by this incredible trio. Thank you, Tia, Jommy, and Martin — you made my stay truly special.

Stayed at Le Meridien Bangkok and had a great experience. The room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast had a wide variety of options, and the pool was beautiful with a great view. Overall, a very comfortable stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It's perfectly located in the heart of Bangkok, making it an excellent base for exploring the city. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The breakfast offered a good variety, and the staff were consistently courteous, friendly, and eager to help. Overall, it had everything you would expect from a quality hotel. The only minor drawback is its location on a very busy street. As soon as you step outside, you're greeted by the energy and chaos of Bangkok's bustling traffic. That said, if you enjoy being in the centre of the action, this may not be an issue at all. Overall, a great hotel that I would happily stay at again.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation to a Front Office associate at Le Méridien Bangkok. Unfortunately, I cannot remember his exact name, but I believe it started with the letter “F”.(Fernando I guess?) On the afternoon of June 25, at around 3:30 PM, my companion and I arrived at the hotel to visit the spa. We were carrying several bags and some valuable belongings, including a laptop and passports. This associate proactively approached us and offered assistance with our luggage. What impressed me most was that even though we were only visiting the spa at that moment, he treated us with the same level of care and professionalism as any hotel guest. He patiently helped us and thoughtfully suggested that we store our valuables in the spa locker room, where they would be more secure and give us greater peace of mind. His kindness, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made a lasting impression on us. Service like this goes far beyond what is expected and truly reflects the high standards of Le Méridien Bangkok. Please extend our heartfelt thanks and recognition to him. He is an outstanding member of your Front Office team and deserves to be acknowledged for his excellent service.

Le Meridien Bangkok is a well run hotel in the center of Bangkok’s Silom area. Having seen in many times, I was always curious to stay, so I did. The hotel has been here for quite sometime, but is well maintained. Being a platinum member, I also had access to the buffet breakfast and club lounge. The buffet breakfast was decent, both in service and food variety. The club lounge service was exceptional, the staff are so welcoming and engaging - I was thoroughly impressed – it was the highlight of my stay at the hotel. I actually stayed twice in about a two week period. A few issues: 1) the hotel is quite warm, I actually stayed in 3 different rooms (over two separate stays) because I asked them to change my first room because it was too hot – however, the second room while slightly cooler definitely wasn’t anywhere near the 17 degree Celsius I had set temperature at, I found third room also warmer than I would have liked; 2) the hotel caters to clientele from Japan, which may explain why their beds are all extremely hard by western standards. I finally had to ask for a topper, which did help, but I still would have preferred the beds to be slightly softer. The pool and gym are well maintained, however the gym frequently was missing or ran out of regular exercise towels, and the pool while fine, is on the smaller side. I will also note, and it was something I was aware of when I chose to stay here, but the hotel is right smack dab in the middle of Bangkok’s redlight district (may not be a preferable location for people with kids). Thus, when you walk to most places, to include the skytrain station, you will be approached by people trying to entice you into coming to watch one of Bangkok’s many adult entertainment shows. While this didn’t bother me per se, it does get a bit old, and for that reason and the other reasons above I probably wouldn’t stay here again - although the rack rate at this property is usually very good given its solid reputation and overall higher-end feel. I have to reiterate, I really did love the lounge and the lounge staff, and the service at the hotel is overall was fantastic, it just isn’t quite my favorite hotel nor location in Bangkok to stay for a vacation.

Update: The property has now responded, confirming my photo timestamps are accurate. See the attached screenshot from Marriott's own corporate office earlier claiming the timing "could not be established" — they can't even keep their story straight between departments. Now they're claiming daily servicing found no issues. Convenient. Mold doesn't form in hours, it takes days — so either their "daily servicing" is a checkbox exercise nobody actually performs, or staff looked straight at visible mold and blood on a pillow and did nothing. Neither is reassuring. This isn't a case of my word against theirs anymore; it's their own paperwork contradicting itself. Read the screenshot and decide for yourself what a 5-star hotel's "daily inspection" is actually worth. Found mold on one pillow and blood stains on the other after our stay — Le Méridien Bangkok's hygiene is seriously lacking. Stayed July 31–Aug 3, 2026 for my birthday. We discovered this right before checkout, meaning we'd been sleeping on this bedding for the entire 3-night stay without knowing. The Front Desk Manager admitted Housekeeping wouldn't verify it but personally believed my photos, offered 5,000 points (which I declined), then walked away. Marriott's official response later denied any evidence and claimed my photos' timing "couldn't be established," despite clear timestamp/location metadata and the manager's own in-person admission. Check your bedding carefully before settling in.

Excellent hotel in the heart of Bangkok. We stayed 2 nights. International breakfast was excellent and the club lounge access was wonderful. The rooms are great but not 5 star level. We had a dripping ac , so water accumulated all night. It was promptly fixed the next morning. The staff was very helpful and attentive.

This is the best Le Meridien I have ever stayed! The staff are all so nice and friendly and wearing smiles all the time! Even the ladies and gentlemen beside the front door. The room is clean and comfortable. Some of the rooms can see King Power Mahanakhon directly when lied down on the big couch beside the window. I really don’t wanna go out of the hotel when outside is so hot and I really accidentally fall asleep three times on the couch. The shower water might leak out of the shower door which was the only down side but it was not a big deal at all. I will definitely come back here again.
