Our stay at Metropole Bangkok was a very positive experience. The hotel is calm and pleasant, with beautiful rooms that provide a strong sense of comfort and quality. What truly sets this hotel apart from many others, however, is the staff. The employees were incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help. The level of service was simply outstanding. We were traveling with two sick children and were met with a level of care and warmth that made the situation much easier for us as a family. The staff truly went the extra mile—they wrote a thoughtful “get well soon” card and created creative towel figures every day, which the children absolutely loved. This kind of care and personal service makes the stay feel extra special. We are left with a very positive impression and can warmly recommend the hotel to others seeking comfort, excellent service, and genuine hospitality. The staff were simply exceptional and truly wonderful people ❤️ Thank you so much for making our stay so pleasant during a challenging time with two sick children.

The best value luxury stay for Thonglor. This hotel offers a timeless luxury style complemented by a recent renovation that makes it a valuable addition to the Marriott family. Great sized and well appointed rooms provide a comfortable base in this part of Bangkok whilst the superb location with a dedicated canal boat dock provide rapid access to the rest of the city. Connection to BTS and MRT are easy with the hotels shuttle and canal boat. However the shuttle times are extremely limited for a premium hotel. The facilities are very good however the sauna and jacuzzi areas are seemingly abandoned(?) hopefully they will get them operational soon, by which point the wellness are at would rival some of Bangkok’s absolute best hotels! Front desk are kind and helpful, all in I would recommend this hotel if you want a base in the Thong Lo/ Ekkamai areas and don’t mind being a bit out of the city centre. The trade off is that you get a true luxury stay for a very reasonable price.

Overall, I had a good stay here. I was upgraded to a room with a washing machine, which was really convenient since I was able to do my laundry during the stay. The room was comfortable, and the hotel is about 30 minutes from the airport, depending on traffic. Overall, a convenient and comfortable place to stay in Bangkok.

I’ve stayed at Metropole Bangkok twice, and overall, I would say the price is reasonable, especially when taking advantage of promotions like the 2,000 bonus points offer. For my most recent stay, I booked one night just before my birthday. It was a same-day booking, and I requested a birthday arrangement via the Bonvoy app chat. The team acknowledged my request quickly, which I appreciated. Upon arrival, I received an upgrade to a Deluxe room. While it was a nice gesture, I felt the upgrade could have been more meaningful for a returning guest and elite member. I want to give special recognition to the housekeeping team since the birthday decoration was nicely done, and I could really feel the effort they put into it. However, there were several service issues during my stay. The in-room telephone was not working, and there were no welcome amenities prepared upon arrival. I wasn’t expecting anything extravagant, but even a simple birthday cake would have been appreciated. Unfortunately, I later found out that the team forgot about it. I had to go down to the front desk to follow up, which was disappointing. When the welcome snacks eventually arrived, the fruits did not feel fresh. The hotel itself has a classic, old-style luxury design, which looks nice in photos. However, the bathroom is quite small, and the bathtub is not very practical. Additionally, the location is a bit far from the BTS, so I booked the hotel shuttle in advance. Unfortunately, when I arrived at the scheduled time, the staff were not aware of my booking due to a miscommunication. One of the front desk team managed to resolve this issue but it took some time. This reflects an area where the hotel should improve internal coordination. Overall, while the hotel offers good value for money, the service standards during my stay did not fully meet expectations. I hope the management will take this feedback into consideration and improve consistency, especially in guest communication and service delivery.

recently stayed at Metropol with a group of friends, and overall it was a really solid choice for a city trip. first thing you notice is the design, the whole place has this classic European old Shanghai vibe, which makes it feel quite unique compared to typical hotels in Bangkok. It’s definitely a spot where you’ll end up taking photos, especially in the lobby and common areas. rooms were clean, spacious, we had everything we needed, and it was nice having extra touches like a washing machine. location wise, it’s in Thonglor, so you’re close to a lot of cool cafés, restaurants, and nightlife, but still slightly tucked away from the busiest areas, which we actually liked. Getting around was easy enough with Grab or the hotel shuttle. staffs were friendly and helpful throughout the stay, which made everything smoother, especially when we needed recommendations or assistance.

The suite itself is spacious and designed in a residential style, with a separate living area, bedroom, and kitchenette, making it comfortable for longer stays. In terms of experience, the hotel may appeal more to guests who value design and character rather than traditional luxury service. It’s not for everyone, but for those who enjoy vintage aesthetics and a strong sense of story, it offers something quite different in Bangkok.

Good morning team!|I am Jessica and little sister who stayed with you past few days. We found that the experience was wonderful and it has always exceed our expectations.|When we arrived the hotel at 11am, staff were very nice and arranged room upgrade with early check in which is perfect for us who woke up super early and got a long flight.|The room is comfortable and quiet, we feel safe during the stay. The most unforgettable part was the staff Bew's perfect hospitality! I asked him the place to buy Mama boat noodles, since it is very famous on the social media and hard to find in the supermarkets. I asked him to search in the city and he tried his best to buy the last pack in the 711 convenience store. I am so happy to see that there is a staff is very enthusiastic to assist the guests in the hotel. Even in the 5 star hotels, they will not being passionate to the job like him. Very appreciate! All the staff are very nice as well, the driver who drive me to the Airport Express station assist me with the luggage. Once I go Bangkok, I will definitely stay you! See you next time!

Hotel itself is great. But the guests are noisy. The hotel is just next to famous night spot CHOW so people who are drunk will come and stay at hotel at 4am, 5am with girls. All talked very loud on hotel corridor and banging their doors to open and girls are just laying down on the floor. It happened every night and i stayed there for 3 nights. The night shift staff should attend to those kind of drunk guests to their room so they won't make so much noise at night when other guests are sleeping.
