The hotel was good and the breakfast was good and everything else but the cleaners were annoying. We had a bit of a mess and a letter came straight away about it. We didn't put the note saying they were cleaning so they came straight away and put the note.

You pay almost 700€ for 3 nights (with breakfast) and you cannot sleep. It is already far after the midnight and in the room next to, they are still having "party", being very loud, moving furniture etc.|Informed reception almost one hour ago, no reaction. Actually, maybe there was a reactio...all became a lot of louder.|It is so loud - no matter you set solid earphones on max active voice cancellation - it is still crazy.|Absolutely not for family people.|Avoid 100%.

Amazing stay at Aparthotel Atenea Barcelona! Everything was at a very high level, from the cleanliness of the apartment to the comfort of the bed and the quality of the amenities. The staff were extremely friendly, professional, and always ready to help, which made the experience even better. The location was convenient, the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, and the overall service exceeded expectations. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona. P.S. If you come also for Barcelona match, it is close to the stadium. 5 stars!

In December, just before Christmas, I spent a few days there with my family. It was our second stay at this hotel and again everything was perfect. Especially Mrs. Laura made our stay unforgettable. The way she takes care of the guests is worth following. Always smiling and ready to fulfill any wish. She is the reason why we stay at Atenea Barcelona Aparthotel during visit to Barcelona. Many thanks to her. We are already looking forward to spending a few days in this hotel in Barcelona again.

Our first trip to Barcelona was nothing short of magical, and this hotel was the absolute highlight of our journey. The location is simply unbeatable—steps from the metro, putting all the city’s iconic tourist spots within easy reach, which made exploring with our family (including grandma!) stress-free and convenient. But what truly set our stay apart was the exceptional care we received, especially from Laura on the dinner staff. One evening, we had to leave grandma alone for dinner, and as she doesn’t speak a word of Spanish, we were worried she’d struggle. Laura went above and beyond: she made sure grandma felt comfortable, helped her navigate the menu, and ensured she had a wonderful meal. To top it off, when we returned past dinner time, she even arranged room service for us—something we hadn’t expected but deeply appreciated. This level of thoughtfulness and genuine duty of care is so rare these days, and the hotel is incredibly lucky to have such a kind, attentive team member like Laura. The hotel itself was comfortable, clean, and welcoming, but it’s the people that make a place feel like home—and Laura did exactly that. We left feeling grateful, happy, and already planning our return. If you’re traveling to Barcelona with family, this hotel is a no-brainer—you won’t find a better location or warmer service anywhere else. Thank you to the entire team, and a huge, heartfelt thank you to Laura for making our trip unforgettable!

The rooms were clean but very crunched with 4 beds 2 in each room. It worked out for one night stay. The location is great and very safe. The night staff was very friendly and helped us find good restaurants that were open and safe for family. They provided late checkout in the night by one manager but revoked it in the afternoon by a rude lady manager/staff stating they had more guests than anticipated. We were locked out of the room but allowed in to get our stuff and had to rush out. Overall it was a good experience.
