Doesn't seem to be designed for comfort. The layout looks nice but features are 0% human oriented. Seems to include many features/functionalities in the room while half of them are off or malfunctional and most of them are not that needed (eg moistoruizer, TV, refrigerator, washing machine, etc). Meanwhile, a lot of key functions are missing: room heating, hot water for face washing, bathroom drying, lighting and mirror for makeup, no curtain while facing the east, etc. Didn't sleep well at all. So cold and bright.

We were a little disappointed with the room. It wasn't as clean as we would like. There was dust and debris. There is no drying rack for dishes or clothes. The sponge they left in the sink was very dirty so we had to buy a new one. As shown in the photo, you can see the dirty sponge compared to the new one. The kitchen drawers were dirty. The location is very good and the finishings are nice, but the cleanliness is sub par. There are no curtains on the windows, so light shines in early in the morning. The shower head has a very narrow spray pattern and a needle like sprayer. It is like taking a shower with 10 water picks. Not very comfortable.

Nice self check in hotel. Received the check in code in morning of check in. This hotel has no elevator so be prepared to carry luggage up stairs. We were lucky to get the ground floor unit. Good laundry facilities with washing machine, washing power, dryer inside the bathroom. Cooking facilities was good. Clean and beds were comfy.

Didnt receive any email from the hotel prior to arrival and stayed outside of this servised apartment for more than half an hour trying to contact the hotel. Staff English level is worrying, spent more than 20 minutes just to get them to have my email address to send me an email of the check in code. Other than that, the room is very spacious and clean, with heating and clothing drying function ij the bathroom is very handy when travelling with small kids.

This was a great place to stay at for a fantastic price. I know that with staying in Beppu, you might want to stay at a hotel with its own onsen, but this little gem might make you change your mind. It is a fully furnished apartment with a kitchen (stove, no oven), a fridge, microwave, and a washer dryer. Our room had three beds, meaning it was big enough for six people which was rather extravagant for just the two of us. The location was perfect with only a three to five minute walk to the train station. The only downsides is that there are just two parking spaces. We just made sure to be back by 5pm each day and then we just walked to places after that. It was not a problem for us. I would definitely recommend this for anyone on a budget, a group traveling together, or anyone who’d like to stay in a larger space and not a tiny room.

Absolutely clean and beautiful! And super spacious for Japanese standards. They have 2 parking spaces and you need luck to park your car and the location may be a little confusing since some streets are one-sided. But this beautiful place is one of my most favorite places I've stayed in the world :)

Super impressed with this hotel. It is only two stories so it doesn't have the big tall hotel vibe but it was really good and I doubt I'll book anywhere else on our next visit to Beppu. Very technologically with it too. No reception at all and we didn't see anybody else. Enter a pre-sent pin to get into the building and then checkin and receive a pin for the room. Comfy beds, kitchenette hidden behind panels, a washing machine, huge TV with netflix, hulu and youtube, free wifi AND a dining area. It was spacious too, a rarity in Japan. A short walk to the train station and shops (like 4 minutes) but not noisy at all, nestled in amongst residential houses. My only minus is the lack of curtains. The windows have sliding Japanese panels so people can't see in or anything but they don't really block much light. Wont stop me from going back though!!

New and modern hotel.No staff.In the room, there are clothe washing machine, microwave, refligrater, free smartphone, kitchen, and big television.We can dry clothes on the bathroom.The room is spacious, clean, and cozy. It is a little bit commplicated.We have to many input at the machine in entrance.Anyway, I love this hotel.
