I stayed at Mercure Braga Centro Hotel during a business trip and had a very pleasant experience overall. The hotel is in an excellent location right in the city center, making everything easily accessible within walking distance. This was very convenient for both work and exploring the city in the evenings. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing a good environment to relax after a busy day. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly, helpful, and professional, which made the stay even more comfortable. They also have an underground parking facility, which is not included in the room price, but it offers secure parking—especially useful since street parking is managed by local authorities. One of the highlights was the breakfast service. The breakfast staff were exceptionally attentive, and the freshly prepared orange juice, offered personally to each guest, was a nice touch that made the morning experience feel special. Additionally, the rooftop swimming pool on the 8th floor is a great bonus and offers a nice place to unwind. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for both business and leisure travel in Braga.

I had a great stay at the Mercure Hotel and was honestly very impressed with the overall experience. I booked the junior suite, and it was incredibly clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The room felt much more upscale than expected—honestly, it gave off a 5-star hotel vibe while still being very affordable. The location is another big plus. It’s within walking distance of major city landmarks, which made getting around super convenient and added a lot to the overall experience. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming, always ready to help and made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, this hotel offers amazing value for the quality you get. Clean, spacious, great location, and excellent service—I would definitely stay here again.

Great experience. The staff were very helpful. The gym facilities were good and available quite early int eh day. The room was clean, the bed was great. I was able to work and rest well. I recommend this hotel for a stay.

The rooms are large and airy. The balcony is nice, but I believe all rooms are overlooking main roads, so no nice views.|The beds are comfy and the shower is great |The pool is cold (we went beginning of September) and doesn't open if there has been rain.|The buffet breakfast is ok.|A great location. 5 minutes to no2 bus to Bom Jesus. 20 minutes walk to coach station.

Mercure Braga Centro Hotel Great location with easy access to the city. The view from the room was really nice, and the room size was good as well. Everything was very clean and comfortable, making the stay enjoyable. Would definitely recommend.

Breakfast and hotel restaurant are not that good. They are fine, but I was expecting a bit more. For the rest, rooms and location are really nice.

I have been to this hotel several times. One of the advantages is the fact that it has parking (not cheap, though). But this time I was not pleased with the stay. Although the hotel was quite empty, they gave me a bad room (#302) with a window facing backyard walls ... not pleasant al all for a 4 day stay. The breakfast was just sufficient ... nothing memorable, no local products. The staff, however, was very nice. Particularly the lady Carmo (at breakfast) was great.
