You can eat well without going far. The hotel’s own Bar de L’Europe is right there for a relaxed drink or bite. Nearby, Le Fils de Jules, Bocconi Ristorante Italiano, Chez Marie, L’Atelier Restaurant, and Shapla Masala are all within about a mile. For more choices, the walk to Grand Place is about 2.1 km, where you’ll find a range of eateries. The Schuman area also has convenience shops and delis like Casa Italiana and Nordic Fine Foods for snacks or supplies.
You are staying in the European Quarter, steps from Schuman Metro Station and the Brussels-Luxembourg train station, so embassies and EU institutions set the tone. Parc du Cinquantenaire is a 9-minute walk, and Parc de Bruxelles and the Royal Palace are within a 17- to 19-minute stroll. The hotel's bar offers a spot for a drink, and you can walk to the Grand Place area in about 25 minutes to reach the Royal Gallery of Saint Hubert. It is a calm, stately base with easy transit links for reaching the rest of the city.
From Brussels Airport (BRU), take bus line 12, which runs regularly to the Luxembourg Station area; from there, Schuman is a short walk or one metro stop away. The hotel is near Schuman Metro Station, served by lines 1 and 5, so you can also take the metro directly from Brussels Central Station, which is four stops from Schuman. If arriving at Brussels Midi Station, take the metro or a train to Schuman. The station is about 480 meters from the hotel. For a direct option, a taxi or ride-hailing service can bring you to the hotel from either the airport or any main station. The hotel also offers free private parking on a first-come, first-served basis if you drive.
For an evening out, the hotel's own Bar de L'Europe is a comfortable spot for a drink. The Parc du Cinquantenaire is a 9-minute walk away, and Parc de Bruxelles is 17 minutes, both nice for a relaxed stroll after dark. The Royal Palace, 19 minutes on foot, is also worth passing by. To sample the city's flavors, consider joining a Brussels walking and tasting tour covering beers, chocolates, and fries or waffles. Grand Place is 2.1 km away, so a quick metro or taxi ride gets you to its lively evening scene.
The hotel is a great base for exploring Brussels. You can walk to Parc du Cinquantenaire in 9 minutes, Parc de Bruxelles in 17, and the Brussels Royal Palace in 19. Koningsplein and the Royal Gallery of Saint Hubert are 21 and 25 minutes on foot. For the Grand Place, Jeanneke Pis, and Brussels City Museum, it's a 2.1 km trip, so hop on the metro from nearby Schuman station or take a taxi. You'll have easy access to both the EU quarter and the historic center.
