You are right in the heart of Byron Bay, so dining is steps away. The hotel's own Restaurant is a convenient option. For a short stroll, try Hummingbird Bistro Byron Bay, Bay Pizza Lab, Roca, The Mez Club, No Bones Byron Bay, Chihuahua Taqueria, Kouzina Byron Bay, Carmita Restaurant & Bar, or Etsu Izakaya. No Bones is about 100m from Main Beach, and the town center is a 2-minute walk, so you can easily explore many cafes and eateries around the main streets. The Byron Bay Farmers Market is also nearby for fresh local produce.
Bayhaven Lodge sits right in the heart of Byron Bay, just a 2-minute walk from Main Beach and the town center, with Belongil Beach about 0.2 km away. The area is lively with shops, cafes, and restaurants, and you are close to the Byron Bay Farmers Market and NightOwl for daily needs. The lodge itself is a restored 1930s whalers cottage set in tropical gardens, offering a peaceful retreat. Nearby, Cumbebin Swamp Nature Reserve is within a 5-minute walk, and the Cape Byron Lighthouse is 2.7 km away for a scenic outing. The town's beachside vibe and easy access to local spots make it a convenient and pleasant base.
From Ballina Byron Gateway Airport, the closest airport, you can take a pre-booked shuttle bus or private transfer, or grab a taxi or rental car for the roughly 30-minute drive to the lodge. If you arrive by train, Byron Beach Station is the nearest stop, about 0.49 km away, a short walk or quick taxi ride to 16 Shirley St. North Beach Station is also nearby. For a direct option, pre-booked transfers from the airport are the most straightforward way to reach the heart of Byron Bay.
In the evening, you can walk to the town center and Main Beach, both about 2 minutes away, for a relaxed seaside stroll. The hotel's own restaurant offers a convenient on-site dining option. For a drink, nearby spots like The Mez Club and Carmita Restaurant & Bar are within easy reach. If you're up for a short trip, Stone & Wood Brewery Byron Bay is 2.8 km away, where you can sample local craft beer. The area is lively with shops, cafes, and bars, so you'll find plenty to explore on foot.
Bayhaven Lodge is a great base for exploring Byron Bay. You are a short walk from the town center and Main Beach, with Belongil Beach about 0.2 km away. The Cape Byron Lighthouse and the Cape Byron Walking Track are 2.7 km from the lodge, a pleasant trip by car or transit. The Farm Byron Bay is 5.5 km away, and the Byron Bay Wildlife Sanctuary is 14.2 km, so plan for a longer journey to those.
