Response from the property
Dear Brenda, Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We’re thrilled to hear that your stay at Elements of Byron exceeded your expectations and that you found our team so friendly and welcoming. It’s lovely to know you enjoyed our resort facilities and, in particular, had such a relaxing and rejuvenating experience at Osprey Spa. We’ll be sure to pass your kind words on to the spa team. Thank you for your recommendation and for choosing Elements of Byron. We look forward to welcoming you back for another memorable stay. Warm regards, Elements of Byron
You can eat at the hotel's own restaurant, Azure Bar & Grill, plus its bar, cafe, and snack bar. Just across the road from Belongil Beach, Treehouse on Belongil serves wood-fired pizzas. North Byron Hotel, a few minutes' walk away, has a leafy beer garden and family-friendly meals. In the town centre, Fishmongers on Bay Lane is known for fish and chips, and Chihuahua Taqueria in Feros Arcade serves tacos. Beach Byron Bay's Kiosk is a good spot for takeaway breakfast or fish and chips by the ocean.
Elements of Byron sits right on Belongil Beach, about 2.5 km north of Byron Bay township, so you are steps from the sand and a short stroll from the relaxed North Byron Hotel. The Arts and Industrial Estate is walkable from the resort, home to boutique stores, galleries, cafes and the Stone & Wood Brewery, a 17-minute walk away. The Farm Byron Bay, a working farm with a cafe, deli and bakery, is a 3.5 km drive. The township itself, with its shops and dining, is a 10-minute ride on the solar-powered train from North Beach Station, just a two-minute walk from the lobby. The area feels coastal and creative, with easy access to both the beach and local attractions.
The nearest airport is Ballina Byron Gateway (BNK), about a 30-minute drive north on the Pacific Highway (M1). From Gold Coast Airport, it's a 45-minute drive south on the M1, and from Brisbane Airport, about a 2-hour drive south. Shuttle buses, private transfers, rental cars, and taxis are available from Ballina and Gold Coast airports; pre-book shuttles or transfers. There is no direct train to Byron Bay, but coach services connect from Casino to link with trains. Once on Ewingsdale Road, turn onto Bayshore Drive and pass through the Arts & Industrial Estate to reach the hotel.
In the evening, you can stay close and enjoy the hotel's own bar, restaurant, and snack bar, or walk about 17 minutes to Stone & Wood Brewery Byron Bay for a local craft beer. The Treehouse on Belongil, just across the road from Belongil Beach, serves wood-fired pizzas and is a relaxed spot for dinner. North Byron Hotel, a few minutes' walk away, offers a leafy beer garden with live music and family-friendly events. For a change of scene, the solar-powered train from North Beach Station, a two-minute walk from the lobby, takes you into Byron Bay township in about 10 minutes, where you'll find more dining and bars.
Elements of Byron is a great base for exploring Byron Bay. Stone & Wood Brewery Byron Bay is a 17-minute walk away, and the town center is about 2.5 km south, reachable by the solar train from North Beach Station, a two-minute walk from the lobby. The Farm Byron Bay is 3.5 km away, while Cape Byron Lighthouse and the walking track are about 5 km, so those are best reached by car or bike. The Arts and Industrial Estate is walkable or a short bike ride, offering shops and galleries. For the wider region, having a vehicle makes day trips easy, but the resort's location keeps you close to the beach and local sights.
