We just got back from six nights here and we’re already talking about going again. The resort is an old French colonial estate sitting on a pine hillside. You’re only a few minutes from the middle of town, but you’d never guess it from how quiet it is. Our Villa Suite was on the ground floor and still has all its original character. Wooden floors, a fireplace, lovely old furniture, and the garden right outside the door. We’d asked for a king bed even though the booking said it couldn’t be guaranteed, and they sorted it out for us, so it’s worth asking. Breakfast at Le Petit was a proper start to the day and never had that rushed buffet feeling. We also did the BBQ dinner there one evening, which was a really nice way to spend a cool Dalat night. My girlfriend treated herself to the three hour Dalat’s Whispers ritual at the spa. Foot soak, rose and strawberry scrub, Swedish massage, facial and a flower bath, then the vegetarian meal that comes with it, served afterwards at Le Petit. Three hours very well spent. The staff were lovely the whole way through. Warm, friendly, and never rushing you. It’s an old property and it doesn’t pretend to be anything else. That’s exactly why we liked it.

The place was quiet and relaxing, and the staff were all friendly and pleasant. Breakfast was great as well! The villa offers some activities to try for couples and groups. Located a little bit further away from the city center but it's easy to get a grab for transport. If you don't mind that at all, I'd definitely recommend this place for your time in Dalat 😃

Tucked away on the hillside with a group of beautiful heritage villas that is being well maintained. Love the heritage style, the wooden floors and the excellent maintenance work done in the interiors as well as the landscaping. Very friendly staff members and clean linens as you would expect from a 5 star in general. Be sure to walk around the whole complex and visit the public areas of each villa that itself is a half a day excursion and experience. There are a few near by food spots and the le petit restaurant has a nice setting with relatively well trained staff members who were all able to understand some english for basic dietary needs. They will benefit more by improving their own site to be a directory of all villas including villa maps, floor plans and better photo shoots of each room. Should be a small investment that will bring them to next level. It is also an expensive to maintain place so I hope they continue with their upkeep to maintain this beautiful heritage place.

Dalat is wonderful. Ana Mandara is wonderful. The fresh air, the architecture, the people. It’s a place that reveals itself slowly, quietly, gracefully. Heart-warming. Thank you, Tien. So sad to leave, painful even. I hope to return soon. Wondrous, peaceful place.

THE BEST 3 DAYS EVAAAAA! This resort is perfect for those who want to immerse themselves into nature as it’s very green, full of trees and flowers and ofc, insects 😝 🛏️: we stayed for 2 nights in the author’s villa and the view was impeccable, very cozy and french-ish room 🧑‍✈️: the staffs were really friendly, they left me some chocolate and the room was always clean 🍲: they offered us buffet and tea-break. The tea break was not the fancy kind but it’s still acceptable 📍: the location IS CRAZILY GOOD SO SO CLOSE TO THE CENTRE so riding to anywhere were very cheap<3 Def 5/5

My wife and I have been returning to Anna Mandara Villas Dalat Resort & Spa for several years, and it remains our favourite place to stay in Dalat. The property is completely unique—a peaceful oasis full of charm and character. The food is consistently excellent, especially the breakfast, and the service is always outstanding. The staff are genuinely warm, kind, and attentive, making every stay memorable. We always look forward to coming back and couldn’t recommend it more highly.

This is a great resort like many have said but it is also one with distinct characteristics that you should know to set proper expectations. This resort is a collection of around 13 villas that were built a hundred years ago for the French elites and each villa has its own style and history. I love its long history and am glad that the villas are preserved and restored. The being said, a common drawback of old buildings is their lack of sound proofing. You will stay in a room within a villa rather than having the entire villa to yourself. You will hear the wood floor, people talking, the wind, the rain, the trees, the birds, the kids, occasionally the dogs, and all the sounds of nature and other guests. Some might consider that’s part of the charm but some might think those are noises. However, compare to hotels in the city, this resort is surrounded by pine trees and you won’t hear the traffic or road noise. What you are getting into is a collection of restored old villas set in the forest. Its style is rustic charm, not urban modern. If you want a city hotel, this is not for you. Similarly, its location is not in the city center but a bit out of the way. You will need to wait longer for your taxi/motorbike to come. Breakfast ends at 10am, which to me is too early. If you want to sleep in, you will miss the breakfast. While the room’s price is similar to other five star hotels in da lat, the price for its restaurant, spa, in-room dining, and even the coffee capsules is high. For example, coffee capsules cost 50,000 vnd each while a fresh cup of Vietnamese coffee in town is usually 20-25k. Resort guests do not have discounts to its restaurants or spas, either. This Hotel seems quite strict for early check-in and late checkout. I didn't request one but it is written in their in-room brochure that they would charge you 50%-100% of a night's fee if you want early check-in or late checkout. This resort is not non-smoking. I saw people smoke outdoors on the resort grounds. In short, if you want to spend time in nature, this is a great place. If you want modern facilities, close to city center, and do not want to hear any sounds from outside of your room, this is not the place for you.
