Dhaloo Beach

Dhaloo Beach is a shaded beach pavilion on the Labadee peninsula, Royal Caribbean's private cruise destination on Haiti's north coast near Cap-Haïtien. Set among the resort's string of white-sand coves, it offers a place to pause under a roof and take in the turquoise lagoon-like water that the area is known for. Labadee itself is a 260-acre leased peninsula rather than an island, reserved for guests of Royal Caribbean, Celebrity and partner cruise lines. La Visite National Park

La Visite National Park is one of Haiti's two protected national parks, perched on the eastern ridges of the Massif de la Selle just 22 kilometers south of Port-au-Prince. At elevations between 900 and 2,275 meters, it shelters the country's largest remaining stand of Hispaniolan pine forest, a handful of endangered bird species found nowhere else on Earth, and an astonishing 85 percent of the entire Caribbean population of Black-capped Petrels. Bananier Beach is a secluded palm-fringed strand on Haiti's southern coast near Petit-Goâve, the kind of place travelers reach by boat and often wish they could stay in forever. Repeatedly named alongside neighbouring Cocoyer as one of the most beautiful beaches in the country, it offers what the busier resorts cannot: a long, quiet run of sugar-white sand, leaning coconut palms, and water so calm and shallow it invites lazy wading. This is Haiti's hidden-coast charm at its most unspoiled. There is no road straight to the sand here. Bananier is reached by water from Petit-Goâve, and once you land, cell reception fades away.
