I had a wonderful stay at Sofitel Dubai Downtown! From the moment I arrived, everyone was so warm and welcoming. Eric was especially kind and he helped with my luggage, gave me a full tour of the room, and was extremely professional. Allan also went above and beyond by helping me arrange a taxi back to the airport. The check-in experience was smooth, and the front desk staff were lovely. The rooms are very, very spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I slept so well! I also had a beautiful view of the Burj Khalifa from my room on the 6th floor, which made the stay even more special. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options, everything hot and delicious, and I really appreciated the dedicated gluten-free section. The location is perfect. Just a short walk to Dubai Mall. The pool area was beautiful and relaxing as well. Truly a great stay 💛. I will definitely be back. Just book it already!

GOOD LOCATION AND LUXURY HOTEL. I think it's not good to stay in a hotel for a long time.Room was clean always housekeeping was very good first and second days, after they are lazy to accommodating. bathroom is well maintained and more bathroom than you need. the hotel facilities were excellent. On 2nd floor:- the restaurant staff are very fast polite and attentive. LOCATION:- walking distance to Dubai Mall. Everything was a great experience staying.

Arrived for my wife's birthday at the Hotel. The room was beautifully decorated. Balloons, happy birthday banner and the most amazing birthday frame with her pictures on. Staff were all amazing, especially Lae at check-in desk. She is a credit to Sofitel. She was so kind and professional. The breakfast manager Ibrahim was genuinely so kind and nothing was too much trouble for him. Excellent service. 10/10. Location was brilliant, 10min walk to Dubai Mall. Via the sky bridge.

This was my third visit to Dubai and my third stay with Sofitel, which says a lot about my confidence in the brand. On my previous trips, I stayed at Sofitel The Palm and an MGallery property on the Palm, both of which were excellent. This time, it was my first stay at Sofitel Downtown Dubai, and it certainly lived up to my expectations. The hotel was excellent in every aspect. It was spotlessly clean, the service was outstanding, and the staff were consistently friendly, professional, and attentive. I was also pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary upgrade to a luxury studio apartment, which made the stay even more enjoyable and comfortable. The facilities were great, particularly the pool area. The only minor drawbacks were that breakfast could get busy at peak times with longer queues, and cabana availability by the pool was sometimes limited. These were very small issues and didn’t detract from an otherwise fantastic experience. Overall, another excellent stay with Sofitel. My first time at the Downtown property, but definitely not the last. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

The hotel, the location, the staff were all outstanding. Conveniently close to the metro and perfectly situated in Downtown Dubai. What stood out most was the service: you never had to ask for anything because it was already done for you. That’s rare, and that’s luxury. We’ll definitely be back.

I am writing to share my feedback regarding our recent stay on 21st March, which I booked as a last-minute reservation before 12 PM to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Firstly, I would like to thank your team for the thoughtful birthday arrangement prepared in our room. We truly appreciated the effort, especially since it was a same-day booking. The cake and greetings were a lovely surprise and made the occasion feel special. However, I would also like to share a few points where our experience could have been improved. While I understand the short notice of the booking, I had mentioned in my reservation that we would appreciate any possible room upgrade. As the hotel appeared to be quite empty during our stay, I was a bit disappointed that no upgrade was offered, nor were we allocated a higher floor or a room with a better view. Receiving a Sheikh Zayed Road view on the 8th floor, instead of a Burj Khalifa-facing room, felt like a missed opportunity to enhance a special occasion. Regarding breakfast, we completely understand that the buffet was not available due to low occupancy. That said, we appreciate that your staff accommodated us with à la carte options. The service was attentive, and the food was enjoyable. Overall, while there were some highlights—particularly the birthday gesture and the dining experience—I hope my feedback can help improve future guest experiences, especially for special occasions.

We recently spent two nights at Sofitel Downtown Dubai and left genuinely impressed. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was outstanding — a special thank you to Allen for his warm welcome and attentive guidance throughout our stay. The Kids Club team, especially Eleina, made the experience even more memorable for our little ones. The pool is beautiful, and the view of Burj Khalifa from the property is simply stunning — one of those views you don’t forget. Breakfast was a highlight: a wide, delicious spread that set the tone for a great day. The rooms are comfortable, well-appointed, and the overall experience reflects the quality you’d expect from the Sofitel brand. We’d happily return.
