The only 3 good things about this hotel are staff (everyone: reception, people from restaurant, cleaning staff…), that hotel is mostly clean and breakfast. But, this hotel is never ending hallway where you need few minutes just to get to restaurant for breakfast or to your room etc. Room is dark, small and claustrophobic. Bed is heating during night and its waaaayyy to small for two normal hight and weight people. Our room was the last one in that never ending hallway. Imagine coming back to hotel after whole day of sightseeing and then you need a few minute trip to your room… There was always some weird smell, can’t describe it. Drain in shower is slow… On theory, location is good, but it’s actually across train station. It was a good option when we arrived and when we were going home, because T2 train which is going to airport. To summarize: Florence is beautiful city, I advise everyone to visit it at least once in a lifetime. But, lets be fair - 0.8 km is not 0.8 km from center, it's more like 1.5 km. Everything is bit further from hotel than it’s stated on Booking. I understand that you can’t change size of rooms.

We had a wonderful stay at c-hotels Ambasciatori and would especially like to thank Marcel at the reception for his excellent customer service. He was friendly, professional, and always willing to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable.The hotel location is fantastic — only a 2-minute walk from the train station, making it super convenient for travellers. There are also plenty of restaurants around the hotel with many choices to enjoy, and a convenience store just behind the hotel which was very handy.Another great point is that most of the main landmarks are within walking distance, so it was easy to explore the city.The only area that could be improved is the lighting in the room, as we found it a little too dark. Aside from that, we had a very pleasant experience and would happily stay again.

Great location across from the train station (don’t worry, you can’t hear them in the room). Watched a lot of people struggling with bags with roads, so worth it to be so close. Beautiful inside and in the room. Greatest welcome too and very helpful staff. Beautiful room, ensuite and view. All amazing. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Terrible experience, made worse by how the staff handled it. On arrival, the first thing they tried to do was sell me an upgrade to a more expensive room. I declined and said I would see my booked room first. The room had an overpowering, cheap perfume smell, like strong men’s aftershave, which gave me a headache. I clearly explained that I have a fragrance allergy and specifically asked them NOT to spray any more perfume or scented products. Instead, they sent housekeeping to spray MORE fragrance—including directly onto my clothes. When I returned, the smell was even worse. It is still lingering on my clothes, and I still have a headache. After all of this, they asked whether I wanted to accept the PAID upgrade. Trying to upsell me again at this point was outrageous. I expected them to provide a suitable room at no extra charge, especially after making the situation worse. A staff member then told me they would move another guest out of a room in the same category and put me there. Why was I being told about displacing another guest? What kind of professional response is that? A clearly explained allergy was ignored, my belongings were sprayed, and the proposed solution was to ask me for more money. Completely unacceptable.

I had a very pleasant stay at c-hotels Ambasciatori in Florence. The room was clean, comfortable, and very cozy. The soundproofing deserves special praise — both between the rooms and from the street, it was excellent. I was genuinely impressed by how quiet the room was despite the hotel’s central location. The air conditioning was also incredibly powerful — an absolute beast! 😄 It cooled the room very quickly and worked perfectly, which was especially appreciated during the hot weather. There are only a couple of small things that could be improved. The shower area could use a little more lighting, and it would be helpful if the shower glass panel extended a bit further, as quite a lot of water can otherwise end up on the bathroom floor. These are minor details, though. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would happily recommend this hotel, especially for its comfort, cleanliness, excellent soundproofing, and very convenient location.

Great location, right across the train station and a few minutes away from all the maine atractions. Room and the bathroom were large enough and very clean. When you close the window it is peaceful enough so you can sleep well. Staff were kind and helpful all the way. Breakfast is full and various. Highly recommended.

Located right across the street of the Firenze Santa Maria Novella Train station. The service is very good and the staff , very polite. We had quite some luggage and travelled by train. We did not need a taxi. We also did a quick recce of the station to know before hand how to comfortably position ourselves to get into the train. If I have to nitpick, i would have preferred the rooms to be a little bigger.
