Check-in was very easy using a code sent via WhatsApp, and late check-in (after 10 PM) was possible. The room was quiet and the bed comfortable. However, the staircase leading upstairs is narrow and not suitable for large suitcases.

The hotel is really pretty with a very good location. Rooms were clean and accurate to the description. The bathroom could be better if there was one more toilet and somewhere to put clothes when showering. Very good experience!

Compact yet cozy. Clean and comfortable.Lication is good. Everything is so well organised Beds are well designed and comfortable. They also provided towels. Only thing the stairs are narrow and there is no elevator .They should provide the city pass on arrival They provided it next day during check out

Great hostel with very special atmosphere. We absolutely loved it. Perfect also for families or small groups! Staff are extremely helpful and lovely. We enjoyed our stay and would come again any time. Thank you for our lovely stay 😊

I had a fantastic stay here!! It was self check in, so I didn't have to worry about my train being late and could come in at 11pm fine. The staff in the morning was extra friendly and great to chat with. Bed was super comfy. The included towels were huge and super nice. Plenty of room in toilet and shower area. I usually don't do great with top bunks, but the ladder up was super easy to climb! Overall had a fantastic stay!

Absolutely horrible place. Do not stay here, go literally anywhere else. I usually start my reviews off with what I liked about the place. There are no positives. The rooms are very small and cramped. We got a private double room, and were surprised that our bed was a bunk bed. Not 2 twins in a bunk bed. 1 double bed that was raised off the ground. It was both too low to stand under, and too high to sit on top. Bad all around. When one person needed to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, there was no way to do that without waking the other person. There were 0 hook/bars in our entire room. No where to hang our coats, or towels, or laundry as it was drying (we went to a laundromat, obviously this place doesn't have laundry avaliable). There isn't even a small kitchen. You will not be able to cook anything while you're here. We were hoping for utensils for our take out meals, there are none. I did see a small fridge, but not sure what you would put in there since they don't even have counter space available. Have never been in a hostel that doesn't even have a small kitchenette. The bathrooms are insane. Still cannot believe it. There is 1 toilet for the entire building to share. The women's bathroom has 2 showers. Both showers have glass doors....right across from each other. There is no where to put your dry clothes, so they are left out to get wet in the main bathroom area. So even if you get lucky and the 1 toilet is free, you're climbing around everyone's stuff as they attempt to shower in the world's smallest showers. The say they demand absolute silence for 10 hours of the night. So if you're staying for 1 night, over half your stay must be in silence. I was hoping we would atleast get good sleep because of that, but that was not the case. Either we were roomed with a bunch of stomping walkers both nights of our stay, or the stairs are insanely loud as well. Stomping up and down all night long. The shared dorms have an electronic lock, which is also incredibly loud. Between the stomping and the loud beeping all night it was hard to sleep. Since we were on the middle floor, we could easily hear every step that was taken on the top floor above us. Didn't help that our bed was raised to be even closer to the ceiling than normal. Horrible stay. I suggest you look anywhere else for your stay. Cannot overstate how poorly run this place is.

This hostel was great. They include a towel with your stay which is a great added bonus. It’s in a quaint area that is indicative of Bavaria. I’d recommend this hostel. Just make sure to check your spam folder for the door code! It’s close to Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau Castles. You’ll need to walk to one of the train station bus stop or the other one to get a ride to the castles, but it is a relatively short walk. The bus fee as of 8/11/2025 (or 11/8/2025 for us Americans) was 5.80 euros round trip.
