A big disappointment. location good, parking safe. But no airco, just a fan in a sweltering room. No shower, only a bath.|Breakfast starts at 8am, but because of the heat I wanted to leave early, I got an orange juice and bought some croissants at a bakery.|Internet is low speed.|This was the most expensive hotel on my whole trip and absolutely the worst.

On our road trip we had accidentally booked this hotel on the wrong date. We obviously apologized (extensively!) and, per the hotel policy, compensated the hotel in full for the missed night (including breakfast), without making use of the facilities. The front desk person, however, persisted in being extremely blunt and rude throughout the whole conversation (we had two phone calls with him). Even though there were rooms available the next night, we will NEVER ever consider this hotel again and avoid being treated -despite being potential customers- like dirt.

I can't comment on the hotel itself as I had to cancel due to unforseen circumstances. However, the management were very unhelpful and unfair. I accepted that my cancellation would not be refunded but they would not even entertain a rescheduled booking, despite having plenty of rooms available. It's strange that that are in the hospitality and accommodation industry, yet they were very inhospitable and very unaccommodating. I would avoid this hotel based on my experience of the poor management.

I loved the character of this hotel and overall feel of our stay here! The rooms are ADORABLE and have so much personality. We booked two rooms under one of the sets of stairs and personally had no issues with noise from people traversing up and down to get to their upper rooms. The reception service is superb and the location is perfect in every way; across the street from a grocery store and self serve washer & dryer (next to the grocer), down the road from a pharmacy and a couple of restaurants, and roughly a ten minute walk from the downtown area where the port and rest of the restaurants and shops are! Parking is limited inside the gate, but overnight parking nearby (either out front or down the way) from 8pm to 8am is free. My only concerns worth mentioning were 2 things: ▪︎ the rooms had heaters, but no air con (not atypical for France. However, some hotels fit mini ones to their rooms and other travelers might want to be aware). Our party of four had mixed experiences with this. 2/4 felt warm with two people sleeping in the rooms without a window open even with 8-10°C (46-50°F) temperatures outside. Wearing lighter clothing helped a lot for the 2nd night. ▪︎ the lights in the courtyard are motion activated, which is nice when walking to your room at night and the individual lights in front of the doors come on. However, it's not quite as nice when the flood lights are also activated at the same time and the curtains aren't light blocking 😅 Over all, such a great experience and would love to come again!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were extremely helpful and attentive. When my father accidentally left his jacket in the room, the hotel quickly arranged its return, which arrived safely. The service and care were exceptional. We highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again!

Very well located for the price. The rooms were very comfortable and cozy with very large bathrooms. We did not include breakfast but the staff was very friendly and helpful. We do not speak French but had no communication issues. There is parking on site for a reasonable fee but there is also a free parking lot available nearby
