Exceptional Service, Style, and Thoughtful Details! I recently stayed at EAST Hong Kong for five days during a business trip, and it was hands down one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. Having stayed at numerous hotels worldwide, EAST is one property I can confidently recommend to friends and colleagues alike. My flight landed late, and I arrived around 1:00 AM, but the check-in process was seamless, swift, and welcoming. The room itself was impressively spacious—a delightful surprise given Hong Kong's reputation for compact hotel rooms. I highly appreciated the hotel’s commitment to sustainability, particularly the complimentary filtered water station, which eliminated the need for single-use plastic bottles. The room's charming little speaker made my mornings brighter, and the welcome amenity was a lovely touch. The highlight of my stay, however, was the impeccable service. Since I travel with my own pillow, Dora from the housekeeping team thoughtfully put a fresh pillowcase on it for me. I have never experienced this level of attentiveness at any other hotel. It was a small gesture, but it truly reflects how much the staff genuinely cares about guest comfort. Coffee at Domain is a must, and their Flat White is exceptional. 'Sugar', the rooftop bar, was another major highlight—the views and atmosphere are stunning, the bartenders are highly professional, and their signature cocktails inspired by Hong Kong cinema added a wonderful local touch. Overall, EAST Hong Kong perfectly combines comfort, style, and intuitive service with an authentic local vibe. I will absolutely highly recommend it for both business and leisure travelers.

Our stay was wonderful! Rooms were pretty clean, bed was comfortable, and staff were friendly. The only thing was the location. Although the subway line that takes you to all the main sights is right outside the door, it takes 35-40min to get to those said areas. Other than that, I highly recommend staying here!

Great hotel. Rooms are are modern, spacious and the bedding is extremely comfortable. The service is excellent and especially from Sanjay at Concierge/ Reception. Nothing is too much trouble. He even found where I could buy a pair of construction boots! It’s my go to when I visit Hong Kong.

Had a pretty good stay in the hotel. Things feel clean and new. The only issue we had was that the blinds don’t go down all the way so light gets through early in the morning when we need some sleep. The staff were super helpful, we were lacking a usb cable to charge our phones and they delivered 2 for us. Very nice. Hotel is quite artistically decorated. Loved the experience.

Clean and comfortable hotel with good service! Suggest to book a room with harbor sea at high floors , otherwise your room’s view would be facing the residents 😅 I really love the huge window panels at two sides of my original room - urban corner. Unfortunately I was woken up at 5am due to the sound of the rain splattering on the corners , it was so loud that disrupted my sleep (only if u are a light sleeper like me) Also, this urban corner room is facing residential buildings, it would be better if the facing is at the other side which is the harbor sea view. I called the staff and she attended to me promptly and offered another room at the opposite. I took up the new room though it was smaller and no more two-sided window panels, but it has sea view and most importantly I won’t be able to hear the loud sound of the rain! The location of this hotel is right next to Taikoo MTR and connected to a shopping mall. Downside: It is quite far from central areas, but I think it’s fine as the MTR is convenient. Another issue is the room’s lighting is not bright enough to put on makeup 😅 but it’s definitely much brighter than Hyatt’s room!

I was thrilled to discover this beautiful hotel. We stayed for four nights, and the room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The location is excellent, with a wide variety of dining options just a short walk away. I will definitely stay here again whenever I travel to Hong Kong.

Nice hotel for staycation - offering a great view of Victoria Harbour and half of Hong Kong island at top floors. They also have a nice rooftop bar, which makes the atmosphere great. A working space / cafe is offered downstairs on ground floor and 1st floor, making the hotel very cozy and calming.

Spacious room, good layout with a cushioned bench by the big window to appreciate the harbour view. Wish there was a more comfy armchair in the room though. Pool and gym are nice. Friendly staff. Connected to taikoo shing shopping mall and MTR. Very convenient and the best hotel in east area of hk island in my opinion.
