Its super convenient location. 🏨✈️The hotel is directly connected to Hong Kong International Airport, so you can walk from the terminal to the hotel without taking any transportation. It is perfect for early morning flights, late arrivals, or short transit stays. The room was clean and comfortable. The size was just right — not extremely spacious, but definitely not too small or uncomfortable. Compared with many hotel rooms in Hong Kong, I think the room size here is quite good. There was enough space to open luggage and move around comfortably. The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet, making it a great place to rest after a long flight. The breakfast selection was better than expected, with many choices available, including both Western and Asian options. It was convenient to have a nice breakfast before continuing the journey. One thing to note is that some room amenities are not automatically provided in the room. You need to request them through the hotel’s system. There are both complimentary items and paid items, so it is better to check before ordering.Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The biggest highlight is definitely the location and convenience. I would recommend this hotel for travelers who want to stay close to the airport and save travel time. 👍

Had an overnight transit and this hotel is the most convenient there is. Attached directly to the airport, only a 5 mins walk through the covered walkway. Being linked to the airport, it was actually very convenient to head into hongkong too via the train. Check in was quick and easy but do I could see that people come in waves so if you're unlucky you might end up behind a long line but it's an airport hotel so that's no surprise. Spacious, clean, comfortable bed, good shower. All you need from a hotel let alone a transit hotel

Using this for our overnight transit from Sydney. With the late landing, this proved to be the best convenience for our young boy, only minutes walk inside the terminal. The staff and service were exceptionally outstanding. We booked 2 standard rooms and both were complimentarily upgraded, and with an extended check out time as they know our connecting flight was later in the day. The cost is extremely affordable being a Five Star hotel. Highly recommend and definitely will use again if given the opportunity. Thank you Regal.

Absolutely enjoyed staying here. Stayed a couple times now. Rooms are clean and modern. View of the pool is nice, but prefered view of the runways. Both the Breakfast and dinner buffets are amazing with more options than one could eat. Being connected to the airport makes transportation super easy to Hong Kong by train.

The hotel's location came as a pleasant surprise, and the service was quite good; the front desk staff were very polite, and a staff member proactively helped me transport my luggage. However, I found it baffling that they lacked luggage carts, forcing the staff to move the bags by hand. A proper four- or five-star hotel really ought to have luggage carts available for this purpose.

Excellent hotel for an overnight stay before or after a flight! The location is unbeatable, with direct access to the airport terminal, making travel incredibly convenient. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet despite being so close to the airport. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The dinner offered a great variety of delicious options, and the hotel's facilities were excellent. Highly recommend Regal Airport Hotel to anyone traveling through Hong Kong.

We had a wonderful stay at Regal Airport Hotel! Special thanks to Anson at the front desk, who kindly gave us a complimentary upgrade to a spacious 3-person family room. The room was very large, clean, and had a fantastic view of the airport! Our family truly enjoyed our stay thanks to his outstanding hospitality. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit.

Review is long overdue. This is by far the most convenient airport hotel I’ve ever stayed at, as it’s directly connected to the terminal. The price is very reasonable given its proximity to the airport. If you need an airport hotel, this should be your top choice; there’s really no need to look elsewhere. The rooms are spacious, even by non-Asian standards, and consistently comfortable. I stay here every time I pass through Hong Kong, and the experience is always excellent. The staff are exceptionally kind and helpful. I genuinely can’t say enough good things about this place.

Where can I eat near Regal Airport Hotel?

You can eat well without leaving the hotel. Cafe Aficionado serves international buffet dishes, while The China Coast Bar + Grill offers American and grilled options. For Cantonese and Sichuan flavors, try Rouge, and Regal Patisserie is a good spot for pastries and desserts. The hotel also has a bar and lobby bar for drinks and snacks. For a change of scene, Citygate Outlets is nearby and has dining options, and a Circle K is close for quick bites. The hotel's restaurants cover a wide range of cuisines, so you are well set for any meal.

What is the area around Regal Airport Hotel like?

The hotel sits right at Hong Kong International Airport on Chek Lap Kok island, connected to Terminal 1 by a short walk. The immediate area is airport-focused, with the AsiaWorld-Expo MTR station nearby and Citygate Outlets a short ride away for shopping. Lantau's big sights, like Ngong Ping 360 and the Tian Tan Buddha, are about 7.7 to 7.8 km out, so you will need transport to reach them. The hotel itself has several dining spots, including Cafe Aficionado and The China Coast Bar + Grill, making it easy to eat without leaving. For exploring further, the Airport Express train gets you to Central in about 24 minutes.

How do I get to Regal Airport Hotel from the airport or main train station?

The hotel is directly connected to Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 1 by an enclosed bridge, just a 2-minute walk from your flight. From the Airport MTR Station, take the Airport Express Line, which reaches Central in about 24 minutes. The AsiaWorld Expo MTR Station is also nearby, a 1-minute train ride away. A free shuttle bus runs between the hotel, Regala Skycity Hotel, and Tung Chung MTR Station. For other destinations, paid shuttle services are available. Taxis and ride-hailing are also easy options from the airport.

In the evening, you can stay close and enjoy the hotel's own dining options, including the Cafe, Bar, Restaurant, and Lobby bar, which offer a range of cuisines. For a change of scene, Citygate Outlets is nearby for shopping and dining. The AsiaWorld Expo MTR Station is close, so you can easily head to Tung Chung for more evening options. If you want to see more of Lantau, Ngong Ping 360 is 7.7 km away, though you would need transport. For a lively night market, Temple Street Night Market is 24.3 km away, a longer trip into the city.

Is Regal Airport Hotel a good base for exploring Hong Kong?

Regal Airport Hotel is a practical base for exploring Lantau Island. Ngong Ping 360 is 7.7 km away and Tian Tan Buddha is 7.8 km, so you will need a taxi or the shuttle to reach them. Hong Kong Disneyland is 11.0 km away, also requiring transport. For central Hong Kong, Sky Terrace 428 is 22.8 km, Central-Mid-Levels Escalators 23.0 km, and Victoria Harbour 24.7 km, so plan for a longer trip via the Airport Express or a taxi.
