A lovely hotel, conveniently located in Sha Tin. Love that it is connected to the New Town Plaza mall so you don't have to walk in the blistering heat of summer. Views from the room are beautiful, overlooking the Shing Mun River. The only slight downside is that when you come from the mall (3F) for check in and you need to take an elevator down to the hotel lobby, you have to wait for someone with a key card to let you into where the elevators are. If you don't have suitcases or a stroller/wheelchair, you can just use the escalator without accessing the elevator lobby.

A great mall that's absolutely worth the price. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and we had an air purifier + dehumidifier in our room, so it didn't feel stuffy like many of the other rooms I've stayed in at HK. There's a super large mall connected to it, and you don't even need to go outdoors to reach Sha Tin station. The one complaint I can give is that the location is just a bit far from the places I wanted to go.

I love this hotel. It's literally attach to several malls that are bridged together that have everything you'll ever need, and every style of food you want to eat. Train station and bus station are just walking distance without stepping outside of the linked buildings. The rooms are clean, price is reasonable and the front desk is friendly. This is our second time staying here and will be our home away from home, every time we come to Hong Kong. Things the are important to me for a great hotel room, are checked. Clean room and clean bathroom, nice shower with good hot water and water pressure. Comfortable bed. Quiet and effective AC.... if I could give another star on top of the 5 stars, I would! There is also a beautiful park along the canal that runs through Sha Tin. Update...3rd time staying at the Royal Park in 3 years, and it is just as good as the first two times! We also discovered their swimming pool and the fitness center, which are on the second floor. Thy swimming pool is outdoor with cover. They have towels too.

I stayed at Royal Park Hotel for a short stop before heading to Haneda, and it worked well for that purpose. The lobby and reception area felt spacious, which made the arrival feel smooth and comfortable. I also noticed a mix of international guests and mostly local visitors, and the front desk and concierge were helpful in the parts of the stay I dealt with.

wife & I stayed 2 nights visiting family on way to Shenzhen. Winnie the senior assistant manager was helpful and thoughtful in getting us a room close to the lifts as my wife cannot walk far and also got her a shower chair. The room was spacious and clean. Location was close to shops. We will come back for another night on the way home to Australia. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed a 10 night stay at the hotel. Super convenient location, adjacent to New Town Plaza. Park and Shop accessible via one of the interconnecting bridges for snacks and drinks. Plentiful choice in the shopping mall for meals. Great transport links to MTR and also a main bus terminus. Hailing taxis or drop offs by them were never an issue.Hotel is clean and comfortable. Spacious room with water filling machines stationed on every floor. The only thing I’d say is that halfway through the trip, the bedsheets and room started to feel damp. We were there during a really humid period pre-typhoon and it was unusually hot for HK at this time of year. I requested a dehumidifier though and that seemed to help a lot. Each room has an air purifier too and you’ll see them dotted around the hotel hallways. Laundry room on the 6th floor came in handy. A bit expensive (HK$45 per wash and per tumble dry) but it only takes 40 mins each. There’s only two washers and two dryers. One evening when we went to collect our drying, there was a queue of around 6 people outside so have to be strategic with timing. If you’re here for an extended stay, some of the party we were travelling with found a laundrette close by so there are other options. Pool was OK, nothing fancy but only visited twice. The gym is small but good enough for our stay with a mix of machines and hand weights with standard cardio machines. All staff were more than happy to help with any requests. The only thing that I would say could be worked on is the communication upon check in. We weren’t specifically which floors the laundry or the gym and swimming pool were on. So we had to explore a bit ourselves to find it all rather than being told at the start. Overall, a really enjoyable stay and would consider staying here again in the future.

Highly recommended Hotel if you’re looking for a state that is super convenient and live like a local. Also one of the best genuine service from all staff interactions. *Check-in: front desk experience is smooth with helpful and polite front desk team * Renovated Rooms: The hotel was renovated two years ago so the rooms very modern spacious and comfortable. With a big sofa and coffee table area. If you manage to get the rooms with river views it’s very relaxing and away from the hustle of bustle of main areas like Central or TST. (These locations are a train ride or easy taxi ride away) * Housekeeping: big kudos to the Amazing housekeeping team they are super dedicated, polite and helpful. This housekeeping team does one of the best job that I’ve seen across the International hotels and the room is always dust-free and clean. The housekeeping team does a great job with a smile always, you can see how good the maintenance is in the room. We made an allergy remark and they made sure to deep clean the room before we checked in *Fridge: I wish to make a point about the fridge even though it’s small (as per usual standard) it’s actually much cooler than other standard Hotel room fridges which means you can keep your drinks and snacks cool!!! Little details matter!! (Hate warm fridges as a lot of hotels don’t fix this) *Water stations: each floor has quality water stations in the public area where you can refill with your water bottles I like it’s sustainable and you are not limited to plastic bottles. The stations are always clean. * Laundry: there is a paid Laundry room on the sixth floor with washing and drying machines so it’s very convenient for travellers’ short day and long day. Self serve and easy to pay with small laundry fee. *Service: Quality overall service felt very genuine and friendly, and truly feels like a home away from home *Room rate: as you can see on Google, or their book direct site, the room rate is very reasonable for rooms that are very new and super easy access to the train station, and Shopping mall no matter what weather as everything is sheltered walkways from 3 floor. High value for money! *Facilities: very generous size swimming pool that has open and sheltered areas the gym also has good equipment (please note the swimming pool has no baby/kids Pool) *Best Location: it is in the most convenient location in Shatin and easy access to multiple shopping malls from big brands to small local brands. There is an airport bus ride in front of the hotel. In Shatin area, there is no question this is the best hotel to choose. Areas to improve: *F&B: The restaurants are not managed directly by the hotel, however you won’t have any problem with any meal of the day because of the shopping mall that opened early until late the Mall next door has a YATA Japanese supermarket where you can buy souvenirs and food any time. Also the ground floor Dim Sum restaurant offers 10% discount for hotel guests (recommended)! * Breakfast: they do have breakfast buffet option available but I would encourage you to try local places nearby too * No kids lounge: there is no separate Kids lounge or playroom in this hotel so I wouldn’t say it’s the most Kids friendly if you prefer to stay in the hotel, however since there are lots of entertainment options (kids arcade) in the shopping mall this is not a big issue. Also there is a huge dinosaur themed kids outdoor playground in New Town Plaza 5 floor. 5-8 minutes indoor walk from hotel (Wear a hat it’s hot!!) * No executive lounge: if you are someone who loves executive Lounge, this hotel doesn’t have it, however this does not really reduce the overall experience as it’s not meant to be a luxurious hotel and there are just way too many restaurant options in the connecting malls. Overall highly recommended for leisure travellers especially if you have already stayed in other areas before, and want to live like a local, or even for local staycation for a short stay. Congrats to the hotel team for the warm hospitality and positive culture.

What a great hotel. I stayed here for 3 weeks in Jan/Feb 2026. My standard room was amazing, great view and high floor. So spacious for Hong Kong and immaculate condition. Wonderful bed, so comfortable, small fridge to keep your drinks and supplies cold, 4 glass lifts to ensure you never have to wait too long. If you want to be on the East Rail line on the MTR, as I do, then it is perfect. Everything is about convenience, the Hotel is joined to New Town Plaza, which is the location of Shatin MTR. Unlimited food and shopping options to suit every budget right there joined to the hotel. Shatin Park and Shing Mun River are just steps away. The airport buses stop right outside the hotel lobby. I will not hesitate to stay here again and will recommend it to anyone who asks.
