Kai, thanks so much for the kind review. We are happy you enjoyed your stay and can't wait to welcome you again here in Hvar.
You are a short walk from several well-regarded spots. Try DiVino for seafood, or Mediterraneo Restaurant for a solid meal. Closer to the villa, Dva Ribara, Kod Kapetana, and Jerolim Restaurant are all within a few minutes' walk, as are The Top bar and Splash Beach Bar & Restaurant. For a sweet treat, Slasticarna Hvar is about a 10-minute stroll away. The main square, with more dining options, is also within easy walking distance.
Villa Malisko sits right by the sea, with Bonj Beach just a 2-minute walk away and the Španjola Fortress a 7-minute stroll up the hill. The immediate area is calm and green, with Sumica Park about 80 meters off and the Veneranda ruins 140 meters away. Hvar's old town, with St. Stephen's Square and the cathedral, is roughly a 10-minute walk, and the harbor is under a kilometer. You are close to the water and the town's historic core, while the farther beaches like Plaža Malo Zaraće and Plaža Dubovica are several kilometers out, so those need a boat or car trip. It is a peaceful, scenic spot that feels removed from the busiest part of town yet is still within easy walking distance of the main sights.
Fly into Split Airport, then take a bus or taxi to the ferry port in Split. From there, catch the catamaran to Hvar town. The owner can meet you at the ferry terminal and bring you to the villa, which is a short ride away. If you arrive by car, follow signs to Hotel Pharos, then continue downhill to the end of the road and park in front of the house. The nearest bus stop, boarding pier, is about 150 meters from the villa.
In the evening, you can walk to the waterfront and find spots like Kiva Bar, The Top bar, and Splash Beach Bar & Restaurant, all within a short stroll. Carpe Diem Club Hvar is about 670 meters away for a lively night out. For a relaxed dinner, Dva Ribara, Kod Kapetana, and Jerolim Restaurant are close by. The Španjola Fortress, a 7-minute walk, offers a scenic evening viewpoint. You can also join a sunset boat tour, such as the Half Day Sailing around Hvar and Pakleni islands, to enjoy the coast after dark.
Villa Malisko is a great base for exploring Hvar. Bonj Beach is just a 2-minute walk away, and Španjola Fortress is a 7-minute walk, so you can easily start your days with a swim or a bit of history. The town center, with its restaurants and shops, is a short stroll downhill. For farther sights like Plaža Malo Zaraće (6.3 km) and Plaža Dubovica (8.5 km), you will want a car or a taxi, but the nearby bus stop makes getting around simple. The harbor is close, so joining boat tours to the Pakleni Islands or Blue Cave is convenient. It is a comfortable spot to return to after a day of exploring.
