Our stay at Sporthotel Igls was absolutely magical, it is where I proposed to my girlfriend! The view of alps from the room and peacefully balcony, made the moment very special. We were welcomed so wonderfully from the very start. The hotel manager personally made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed; we felt incredibly well taken care of throughout our entire stay. The atmosphere here is amazing, and even the other hotel guests were incredibly kind and friendly. Occasional events like a vine tasting are a great surprise! We will come back for sure!

A few issues ,Check in, although pre registered was fairly shamholic .had to ask .for included welcoming drink and city passes.Restaurant on first night was fine ,waiter attentive and food good .Night cap in the bar not so easy as bartender dissapeared for a long chat with the receptionist. Breakfast was good to be fair. Second night in Restaurant didn't happen ,Only one waiter on for a busy restaurant and he advised us we would be better going elsewhere.We went next door where staff were lovely and food much nicer so we ate there for the rest of our stay. Basically there was a complete lack of management in the hotel and receptionists obviously lacked training .

Ideally situated as a mid-way point break between Prague and Tuscany. We like the hotel, where the staff are friendly, but service at the restaurant can be rather slow on busy evenings. The rooms are comfortable and the pool and sauna is an added bonus. We like it, and always stay here (with our dog) when going to or from Italy.

Nice room with bathtub. No air con in room, luckily there is a portable air cooler in room which helps a little in summer.Nice mountain views from room; location is not near to Innsbruck city, but friendly reception lady provided 2 guest cards to us allowing us to take free bus J line (2 mins walking distance from hotel) which brings us to City & also cable car station, frequency of bus J is around every 10 mins, so very convenient for us as hotel has free parking lot for our car.Only issue encountered is reception lady told me she couldn’t see breakfast included in my booking, so I contacted Trip.com chatline via web call & issue got resolved in 10mins after Trip.com contacted their agent, great service from Trip.com!

We had an excellent experience at the Sporthotel. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was exceptional. We also had 2 nice dinners there. Hannibal was very attentive and helped us in any way possible! Overall a very nice stay!

My husband and I visited this hotel while on a cycle trip across Europe. The hotel was well situated in the centre of the town and it was one of the nicest rooms that we have stayed in. Staff were friendly and efficient. There were only 2 things wrong, there wasn't any wifi in the room and we couldn't get anything in English on the TV. It was a bit unfortunate that the resort was very quite and not much open due to a public holiday.

We loved our mini stay at the Sporthotel. We arrived before mid day and could check in early. The staff at the hotel are so friendly. Breakfast is amazing and we had dinner one night which was also excellent. Pool and sauna are fab. We look forward to coming again. Can't recommend it enough.

The location, the room and the breakfast were great. However the heat pump for the indoor swimming pool was not working/broke down (we visited beginning of December) for the full duration of our stay (3 days), which means the water was pretty cold and basically unswimmable for most people's standards. Of course we did not have a thermometer but it must have been at best 15 degrees. Considering that this was one of the main criteria for us booking this hotel, this was pretty disapponting. On top of that, there was no mention of the issue during check-in while they were informing us about the pool hours - although the issue was known to them - as well as no apologetic reaction after asking them about it and showing them how we felt (always in a civilized manner of course).
