⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We would like to begin by expressing our heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Irem Kar, whose kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality made our stay even more special. Our stay at Fairmont Istanbul was truly exceptional from beginning to end. The rooms were spacious, elegant, and exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, with a wonderful variety of high-quality options, and every member of the staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. During our stay, we were celebrating my sister’s PhD achievement, and Ms. Irem Kar thoughtfully arranged a beautiful chocolate and pistachio cake as a surprise for our family. It was such a thoughtful and generous gesture that made our celebration truly unforgettable. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Mr. Bilal from the breakfast team. He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and always ready to help with a warm smile. His outstanding service made every breakfast a pleasure. The Fairmont Istanbul is truly magical. I have stayed here before, and this time we were back in Istanbul for an exhibition. From the moment we arrived, the reception team were absolutely amazing. I requested a room on a higher floor, and they kindly gave us one of the best rooms. The service throughout our stay was impeccable, with exceptional cleanliness, professionalism and attention to detail. Every visit to this hotel feels special, and the team always make you feel genuinely welcome. I have stayed at other Fairmont hotels around the world, including Marrakech and several other countries, but Fairmont Istanbul is truly in a league of its own. Without a doubt, it is one of the best Fairmont hotels I have experienced and somewhere I will continue to return to.

We had a fantastic family stay at the Fairmont Quasar Istanbul. The hotel itself is beautiful, with spacious, modern rooms, excellent facilities and a fantastic breakfast, but what really made our stay memorable was the outstanding service from the staff. During our stay, our young daughter had a minor accident while playing in our room. We went down to reception for advice, and they immediately arranged for a medical staff member to come to our room to assess her injury. They cleaned and treated it using supplies from the first aid kit and provided a suitable medical cream. Their prompt response and genuine care immediately put us at ease. To make things even more special, they surprised our daughter with a delicious chocolate cake to cheer her up. It was such a thoughtful gesture that turned a worrying moment into a positive memory for our family. Breakfast each morning was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh, high-quality food and attentive service. We’d particularly like to thank Sema, who looked after us so warmly every morning. She was always welcoming, friendly and attentive, and her kindness made breakfast a highlight of our stay. Every member of staff we encountered was professional, courteous and eager to help. We would happily stay here again and would highly recommend the Fairmont Quasar Istanbul to anyone visiting the city. Thank you to the entire team for making our family feel so well looked after.

Our stay at the Fairmont was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel is beautiful, but what truly made the experience memorable was the outstanding service. The front desk team was always welcoming, professional, and incredibly helpful. Every question was answered with a smile, and they made us feel genuinely valued throughout our stay. A special thank you to the salon team, who went above and beyond to get our family ready for a wedding. They took such great care of us, making sure everyone looked and felt their best. We also spent so many days at the rooftop with family members who joined us as guests. The atmosphere, views, and service were outstanding every single time. I especially want to recognize Doganay, whose friendliness, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made each visit unforgettable. He consistently went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed and made everyone feel welcome. Thank you to the entire Fairmont team for making our family celebration so memorable. We look forward to returning on our next visit to Istanbul.

I had a wonderful stay at Fairmont Istanbul. From the moment I arrived until the day I left, every member of the staff was welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind. Their hospitality made my stay truly memorable. I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Bilal from the breakfast restaurant for his exceptional hospitality, kindness, and outstanding service every morning. I would also like to thank Saven from the Gold Lounge for his warm welcome, professionalism, and excellent service throughout my stay. A big thank you to Bilal, Saven, and the entire Fairmont Istanbul team for making my visit such a great experience. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. The rooms are nice, clean and modern. We enjoyed our stay so much. The breakfast was wonderful. From the guy who checked us in to our Bell boy Murat Budut everyone was very nice and serving with care and a smile. A special mention to Murat who’s been very helpful and I can tell is very dedicated to his job, he is very accommodating and a gem to the hotel. Over all, our stay Fairmont Quasar was great. I recommend this hotel.

Fairmont Istanbul is a beautiful, modern hotel with a lot of potential, but unfortunately my stay was disappointing because the level of service, housekeeping, maintenance, and attention to detail did not match what I expect from a five-star Fairmont property. The Room The hotel itself looks impressive. It feels very new, with modern furniture, beautiful colors and design, and large panoramic windows. Our room was spacious and beautifully designed, with a large bathroom, a good-sized wardrobe, remote-controlled lighting and curtains, and a huge, very comfortable bed. However, the room was clearly not properly inspected before check-in. The TV was not working, the in-room scale was not working, and the iPad/tablet used for hotel services and ordering was also not working. We contacted the hotel several times about these issues, yet they were not properly resolved. This is unacceptable for a hotel of this category. A guest should not be given a room before basic equipment has been checked. Instead of arriving, relaxing and enjoying my stay, I found myself discovering one problem after another and spending my own time calling the hotel and trying to get things fixed. Housekeeping was another disappointment. On several occasions, the “clean room” sign seemed to be ignored. Housekeeping staff could be cleaning nearby rooms and still not attend to ours. Pool The pool area looks beautiful in photos, but I found it disappointing in reality. After approximately 2 PM, much of the area becomes shaded. Considering the size and capacity of the hotel, the sunny area around the pool feels quite limited, and there are not enough sunbeds if many guests want to spend time there. For such a large luxury hotel, I expected a more spacious pool and outdoor relaxation area with better sun exposure. Breakfast is generally good, although I think it could be improved. The breakfast area feels relatively small compared with the capacity of such a large hotel, so it can become crowded. To the hotel’s credit, the staff seem to manage the crowd reasonably well, the area is clean, and the service is good. The Fairmont Gold Lounge is pleasant and looks nice, but it was not as relaxing as I expected. There were children running around and screaming, which made it difficult to relax or work peacefully. The gym is actually one of the stronger parts of the hotel. It is spacious, has plenty of equipment, and there is a separate room for stretching and other workouts. However, cleanliness could be better. The gym floor looked dirty, with visible footprints, which made me question how frequently or thoroughly it is cleaned. The spa itself looks modern and attractive. I also appreciated that the women’s sauna and spa area is separate from the men’s area. Unfortunately, there were maintenance issues here as well. The sauna was working properly, but the steam room was not. I was specifically told by a staff member that everything was working, only to discover that the steam room was not functioning properly. There was also water dripping from the ceiling, and the area appeared to need maintenance and repair. The rooms do have soundproofing, but unfortunately it is not sufficient, particularly if your room faces the highway. Ambulances, police sirens, loud motorcycles and cars can still be heard both during the day and at night. In addition, every night I heard an extremely loud, strange screaming-like noise (they call payer what comes from mosques). It repeatedly disturbed my sleep. For a luxury hotel of this level, I would expect much stronger sound insulation so that guests can enjoy a genuinely quiet room. I also wish the lobby were larger and more spacious for this type of hotel.
