I recently stayed at this hotel in Istanbul and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-designed, offering everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect too—close to shops, restaurants, and public transportation, making it easy to explore the city. What really made my stay special, though, was the staff—especially a young woman at the reception named Sila. She was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Her warm smile and positive attitude made me feel truly taken care of. She provided great recommendations, answered all my questions with patience, and made the check-in and check-out process smooth and pleasant. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. Great facilities, great location, and exceptional service. A big thank-you to Sila for making my stay even better!

This place feels like home. A warm welcoming place in galata area. Staff is helpful and friendly. The location is strategic cz jt s a very calm neighborhood at the same time very close to all buses and tramways. 2 mins away from galata tower. Our room was a bit small but you can choose other rooms that are bigger. Breakfast selection was wide and fresh. We had an early flight the staff took time to pack for us a breakfast to go. These small gestures show that they really care.

Room was a bit small, but overall good experience. Location was excellent near Galata Tower. Staffs were friendly and helpful, especially Ilkan. Breakfast was super. No hassle during checki-in late at night even.

Our stay at Meroddi Galata Mansion was absolutely wonderful. The location is perfect — right in the heart of the city, within walking distance of Galata Tower, charming streets, cozy cafés, and many beautiful spots of Istanbul. It made exploring the city incredibly easy and enjoyable. A special thank you to the manager, Peyvand. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with any questions. Her hospitality made our stay feel very warm and welcoming. The breakfasts were also delicious — fresh, tasty, and a perfect start to the day before going out to explore the city. Overall, everything was great. The atmosphere, the service, and the location made our stay truly memorable. We would definitely love to come back again.

Well located hotel with kind welcoming service and great breakfast. However I cannot recommend as the rooms are very outdated and my bathroom had black mould all over the walls due to no bathroom fan and no ventilation. Additionally walls were quite thin so you would often hear various noises during the stay.

This hotel is in an excellent location, just a 2 minute walk from Galata Tower and a 5 minute walk from Istiklal Street. It’s also very convenient, with easy access to the metro and tram stations. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-equipped, with efficient heating and even a hair dryer. We were impressed by the daily bottle of water and the room's overall cleanliness (towels were changed every day). The breakfast exceeded our expectations, offering a wide variety of both sweet and savory options. We booked the package with breakfast, but there's also an option for lunch and dinner via room service at an extra charge. On our last day, they even provided a lunch box since we had an early flight and couldn’t have breakfast. The hotel also offers additional services like airport transfers and a Hamam experience at extra cost. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any request. A special thanks to Bedirhan for his help with check-in and recommending places to visit, to Zehra for booking our departure transfer smoothly, and to Ufuk for his friendly assistance with check-out. Room for improvement: The rooms were not very soundproof. However, this did not cause any problem during our stay. There was no lift which makes it harder to carry luggage. Stairs have no handrail. We can’t recommend this place enough—it’s worth every penny!

I had an AMAZING stay here at Meroddi ! From the moment we arrived, to the time we left. Everyone that works here is amazing and so kind. The rooms were super clean and comfy beds. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of options. On our second day they gave us a beautiful surprise at our door, a welcome bag with some goodies and a nice note. I’ve never received anything like this at any hotel I’ve stayed at and it made me feel very appreciated. The hotel is also in a great location, you’re not too far from all the major attractions. THANK YOU to everyone here from the reception, housekeeping, restaurant, breakfast and management for making our stay in Istanbul an amazing experience and we will never forget you 🤗☺️

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel during my trip to Istanbul. The location was convenient, the rooms were comfortable, and everything was clean and well-maintained. But the highlight of my experience was the reception. There was a very helpful and polite lady named Sila, and she made a huge difference during my stay. She was always smiling, incredibly professional, and willing to assist with anything I needed—from recommendations about the city to helping with transportation and reservations. Her kindness and attention to detail made me feel truly welcome. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Thanks to her, my stay felt even more comfortable and stress-free. I highly recommend this hotel, especially because of the excellent service at the reception. A big thank you to Sila for her outstanding hospitality!
