The purpose of our stay was to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The moment the gentleman at the reception, Mr. Kayra Hançer, learned about this, he made our stay unforgettable with the surprises. We thank him by heart for making this stay an unforgettable memory. The hotel itself is already unbeatable for the location, view, design and ambiance… we are looking forward for an other reason to come back again asap :)

Absolutely positive experience away from the busy central touristic streets. Fantastic view on the waters, lack of tourists (mainly the locals around), walkable routes along marina and quays in both directions, nice restaurants on the way etc. The hotel itself offers a lot, the facilities are functional, breakfast - outstanding. Rooms- spacious. Abdullah (the bell-boy), Zeynep from the reception, the guys from the bar on the 1st floor (where we watched the football semi-final on 14.07.26) - were just great and very helpful and nice! Many thanks for a wonderful stay for reasonable money, which is also a lot important!

The location of the hotel is amazing, it is over the sea in Bosphorus Tarabya. The decoration, cleanness and breakfast was high quality. The spa and indoor pool was amazing, walking by the seaside was lovely. We went to Big chefs for dinner, that was highly recommended. Also there are many coffee shops, fish restaurants and fast food restaurants around. We highly recommend this hotel.

The property-wide updates—spanning the grand entrance and lobby, parking facilities, pool area, and Bosphorus-facing guest rooms—are executed to an exceptional standard of cleanliness and sophistication. It stands out as one of the premier luxury properties in the city. The dining experience at the brasserie was equally impressive, defined by fresh, high-quality offerings and impeccably prepared breakfast selections. The service was distinguished by authentic Turkish hospitality; Mr. Onur and Ms. Buket provided attentive, respectful, and warm assistance throughout our stay. Additionally, Ms. Zeynep at the front desk managed every request with utmost care, ensuring a completely seamless experience. My sincere compliments go to Mr. Fahri Köroğlu and the broader executive leadership team for setting such a high standard of management.

I am truly in awe! This hotel is a genuine five-star experience in every aspect. The rooms are exceptionally spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully maintained. Every corner of the hotel smells wonderful, and it’s clear that great attention has been paid to even the smallest details. The gym is large, modern, and very well equipped, while the pool is equally impressive and a great place to unwind. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is its exceptional staff. Everyone from housekeeping to the reception team provided outstanding service. A special thanks to Abdullah, the bellboy, whose professionalism, kindness, and service made our stay even more memorable. The cherry on top is the hotel’s location. Nestled away from the crowded tourist areas, it sits in a peaceful and charming marina with breathtaking views of the Bosphorus. Right outside the hotel, you’ll find lovely cafés, restaurants, and boutique shops. The only area that could be improved is the breakfast. I found the selection to be somewhat limited compared to what I would expect from a luxury five-star hotel. That said, this certainly won’t be my last stay here. I will definitely return, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for luxury, comfort, outstanding service, and a perfect location.

This is a very nice hotel on the Strait of Bosphorus. We had a room with balcony and view of Bosphorus. Staff are friendly and helpful too. I had forgot the adaptor for phone charger. Staff at the front desk was able to locate one for me. The hotel also has a terrace bar on the second floor, Diba Bar , which has a great view of the Bosphorus as well. Enes at Diba made very good cocktails and the service is top notch! I really enjoyed the mojitos and the vibes. They have big TV showing the World cup games too. Was in town for a few days and I pretty visit there every night. Highly recommend this bar for chill seaside vacation kinda vibe.

I had booked a room with a view to rest after a very long work week - was looking forward to checking in, unpacking and enjoying the property including a swim in the pool with a view of the Bosporus. What I wish I had done differently: remind the hotel I was coming; the room wasn’t ready until 16:30, which left me waiting for an hour. I’d also not get my hopes up to use the outdoor pool on the property, I was told I couldn’t because it was closing shortly after (I rushed and got up there at 16:45 but it closes at 17:00 so they wouldn’t let me). And if you’d like to sit on your balcony, let them know ahead of time so that you can get chairs. All in all it’s a nice property in a beautiful location, the rooms seem like they’ve been renovated in the last 10 years or so, which is nice, but the service element of the property seems to have overwhelmed the team.

Grand Tarabya Hotel was an amazing experience! We were a large family in Istanbul for a wedding, and the staff were so patient and friendly with our loud and large group. Mr Emirhan and Mr Özhan at the reception were polite and helpful. The lady that cleaned our room was friendly and did an excellent job. The rooms were spotless and the pillows and beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in, throughout all my travels. All around an excellent and memorable experience where our whole family was extremely satisfied and happy.

The Grand Tarabya has its own dining options, including The Brasserie, R.E.A.D Bistro & Café, T Lounge, Diba Bar, and Pool Bar, all with Bosphorus or marina views. Nearby, Kiyi Restaurant and Hristo Restaurant are within a short walk, and Filiz Restaurant and Alimento Balik Restaurant are also close by.
