⭐⭐⭐⭐ A stunning heritage stay with unmatched Mehrangarh Fort views RAAS Jodhpur is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful heritage hotels I’ve stayed at. The property itself is spacious, beautifully designed, and offers arguably the finest views of Mehrangarh Fort. Every corner of the hotel blends contemporary luxury with Jodhpur’s rich heritage, making it a truly memorable place to stay. What impressed me the most was the hospitality. The warmth, professionalism, and attentiveness of the team were easily on par with some of the finest luxury hotel brands. Everyone was courteous, welcoming, and genuinely eager to make our stay comfortable. The food at Baradari was exceptional. The Laal Maas was outstanding, and the team even thoughtfully served us freshly prepared bajra roti from their side, which was a lovely local touch. Every dish we tried was excellent, although I personally felt the biryani could have been a little better. The rooftop is another highlight of the property. Enjoying cocktails while overlooking the illuminated Mehrangarh Fort is an experience in itself. The drinks were well-crafted, the ambience was fantastic, and the views are simply unforgettable. The only slight interruption was the call to prayer from the nearby mosque, but that is naturally outside the hotel’s control and is simply part of staying within the historic walled city. The only aspect of our stay that genuinely concerned me was the arrival experience. Before arriving, I specifically asked the hotel whether the property was easily accessible by car, as we were travelling with luggage. I was informed that it was. However, the reality was quite different. We were delayed by around 40–50 minutes because multiple cab drivers refused to accept the ride after learning the destination. Eventually, one driver explained that regular cabs cannot directly access the hotel due to the narrow lanes. He dropped us near Ghanta Ghar and advised us to take an autorickshaw for the remaining distance. Finding an auto wasn’t straightforward either, with several drivers quoting unreasonable fares before we finally managed to reach the hotel after a rather bumpy ride through the narrow streets. Ironically, once we arrived, we noticed that the hotel has its own authorised auto-rickshaws operating inside the old city. I believe this is an area where the arrival experience could be significantly improved. Rather than simply informing guests that the hotel is accessible by car, the pre-arrival team could provide clear guidance on the most efficient way to reach the property, especially during busy days such as Sundays when the Ghanta Ghar area becomes extremely crowded. An even better solution would be for the hotel to station one of its own auto-rickshaws or a small arrival desk near the Ghanta Ghar drop-off point. Guests could then be transferred comfortably for the final 500 metres without worrying about finding local transport, negotiating fares, or navigating the congested lanes. It would make the first impression of the hotel as seamless and luxurious as the stay itself. Despite this one concern, the experience once inside the property was excellent. The spectacular setting, outstanding hospitality, delicious food, and unforgettable views make RAAS Jodhpur a truly special place to stay. A heartfelt thank you to the entire RAAS Jodhpur team for making our stay memorable. With a slightly more refined arrival experience, this would be close to a perfect heritage hotel.

We enjoyed our 3-night stay at RAAS Jodhpur. We appreciate thoughtful design and heritage architecture, and when paired with views of one of the city's most iconic sites, it's a property we knew we wanted to experience. We stayed in a third-floor Luxury Room with a view of Mehrangarh Fort. The room and bathroom were both large and there was a comfortable terrace that was perfect for enjoying the view. The property has done a wonderful job of preserving its heritage character while updating it in a tasteful and modern way. The hotel sits next to a small stepwell and within walking distance of the main market, where you can observe daily life happening around you. It can feel a bit chaotic once you leave the property, but there is complete serenity the moment you step onto the hotel grounds. We loved this contrast. Breakfast was served in the haveli courtyard, with Mehrangarh Fort providing the main backdrop. We also enjoyed several dinners at Darikhana, the rooftop restaurant, where the nighttime views of the fort were beautiful. The food was outstanding, and the service was equally good. Prahlad was especially helpful on our first evening, taking the time to give us excellent recommendations. One thing worth noting is that, depending on the time of year, you may hear the call to prayer from a nearby mosque several times a day. The hotel thoughtfully informs guests and provides earplugs. To us, it was simply part of the cultural experience and history of the area. We would definitely return to RAAS Jodhpur. It was a wonderful place to experience the city while still having a peaceful retreat to return to each day.

If you are coming to Jodhpur, you must stay at the Raas! It offers a fabulous view of the fort, delicious food, super helpful and sweet staff. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. Pool area was nice too. The hotel also arranges for auto rikshaw for local tour on request. Overall the experience is fantastic :)

My stay at this hotel was nothing short of perfect. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, with every detail thoughtfully designed to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff truly made the experience unforgettable lively, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. Their service was top-notch, making me feel welcome and cared for throughout my stay.The ambiance of the hotel is incredibly romantic, perfect for a getaway with a special someone. From the elegant décor to the charming setting, everything sets the mood beautifully. I can confidently say this hotel delivers not just luxury, but also heart and soul. Highly recommended I can’t wait to return!

Location was amazing. Inside the walled city and a great view of the fort from our room. Staff was amazing. My husband had a great massage at the spa, and the food at the restaurants was amazing. Particularly liked my virgin strawberry daquari by the pool in the afternoon sun.

We went to RAAS for lunch whilst holidaying in Jodhpur. The hotel is located in the old city right next to the step well. Access is tough and parking limited. The courtyard is nice and they have a decent enough if shallow pool. We were dissatisfied with the lunch. We paid 13k INR for a small non-veg kebab platter, fish and chips, 3 garlic naans, and 3 cocktails. The quality was good for the kebabs, ok for the fish and chips. Servers refused to cut the kebabs to share them out amongst our party, but they were friendly enough otherwise. Drinks were good. I feel that if you want luxury food in Jodhpur there are better and cheaper options serving larger portions.

This is a riviera of the restaurant. Amazing staff with great attitude, whether it comes to food recommendation, meeting ‘ needs or helping out photo-enthusiasts with cool pictures- they go above and beyond. Special shout out to Prahlad who was the lead staff taking care of our group of 8.

Staying at Raas was one of the best experiences of my travelling life. It’s is in the best location to explore Juhpdhor. It’s also right next to a Museum/Fort which is a must to check out supply for the views. The town itself feels like you’re in an Indiana Jones movie and as soon as you walk out of the hotel property there is this legendary textile store called Rang Mala that supplies all the major fashion brands and the owner Beanty is a legend. He gave us a tour and we got some amazing scarves from him. But the town can be a bit overwhelming and hectic , so it’s nice to be able to dip right back into the serenity of the hotel. Everything from the rooms to the pool, steam room, the welcoming , and the restaurants are all world class. This would have costed us well in the thousands for an experience like this anywhere else. Everything we did from cost of the room, to the amenities, transportation, and dining was under $1k USD! That’s what you’d normally spend on just one room for a venue like this. Our room # was 336, which is basically having your own floor with multiple outdoor spaces and lounges and was directly above the spa. They have multiple restaurants on property that serve the same menu (some of the best food and cocktails you’ll ever have), but in different sections. We had lunch at Baradari, which has a direct view of the gardens and pool. Special acknowledgement to our server Prahald , who guided our dining experience and honestly, the best food we’ve ever had. The broccoli and tandoor sizzler was off the charts , and the kofta next level. Later in the night (keep in mind it gets a little more hectic at night than the day in town , but the people truly are amazing and helpful) we ate dinner at Darikhana which is on the upper level of the property with amazing views. Again same menu , we offered different things and it was equally as amazing. Food is fresh and service is top notch. Keep in mind we spent only one night here, so staying here will allow you to get a lot in quick. Okay downer was we didn’t get another day to fully explore and experience all the other things the hotel had to offer. They also booked us a car for our next journey to Jaisalmer, which is a 5 hour car ride. They literally can take care of any of your needs at Raas. 5 stars hands down.
