After an unexpected delay to my travels I only booked a room online a mere 75 minutes from eta which was after office closing hours. On arrival there was a personal note for me taped to the office door complete with room details etc. My room was warm (heat pump on), immaculate and very welcoming. Hands down best service ever! Thank you Lobster Inn.

Had one night there in late May, such amazing friendly service and the room was so clean and the bed so comfortable! So quiet and we had a good nights sleep! Would go back there for sure! Shower pressure was just epic, great rooms, first class amenities!

Person at check in was very friendly and helpful, recommended some points of interest with a map during our visit. The room was very clean and quiet during the night with great background views.The only minor issues was the shower pressure, slow floor drainage and no kitchen sink.

We walked in and booked the last room available. We were initially surprised with the seasonal pricing as we had previously stayed here for considerably less for the night. As pointed out by management, its Kaikoura in summer. We were given a small bottle of milk to take to our room. The large studio upstairs along the landing was spacious and inviting. The room was clean and very presentable, I saw there wasn't a suitcase stand, however I used my initiative and brought the stand from the bathroom to use. We conveniently dined next door at the lobster inn Tavern and enjoyed a beer, a meal and the first half of Friday night rugby. We continued to watch the rest of the game in our room on Sky. We enjoyed the amenities in the room however, we missed the choice of a biscuit with our coffee in the morning. We noticed when the sun was shining through the balcony windows, they lacked attention. I like to help service staff, so the bed was stripped. Overall, we had an enjoyable pit stop on our journey south this weekend. Thank you!

Nice big room at motel. Kitchen great, rooms clean and aircon etc. good for 1 night on our travel through. Supermarket I’ve road. Though there are hotels closer to beach which would if staying longer.

Had a great stay here. The room was very nice. Traffic noise wasn't an issue, which was surprising given its location. The onsite pub does a really good feed, which was great value for money. Would happily stay here another time.

What a great place to lay our heads for a few nights on our way down South. The room 707 was huge and the beds were so comfortable. The staff were great and so was the location 😊

Fantastic place right down to the pub next door, conference space upstairs and conference room down stairs. Lovely outdoor area private and isolated. Lovely owners, sweet staff and great people on the bar. Can't wait to go back. 40 of us and 20 cars as a group.
