For a quick bite, try ゆうがた, 喜食家, or Lucky Meal Mermaid, all within a short walk of the hotel. Crepe Stand Honey and べたなぎ are good for a coffee or sweet stop. For a drink, なみのりチキン is a nearby bar. The area around Enoshima Station also has cafes and eateries, so you can easily find a meal while exploring the coast.
The hotel sits in Koshigoe, a relaxed coastal neighborhood where the retro Enoden tram runs nearby. Koshigoe Beach and Katase Higashihama Beach are both about 100 meters away, and Enoshima is a short walk, so the sea and island views are right at hand. The area has a local, unhurried feel with small eateries and cafes like ゆうがた, 喜食家, and Crepe Stand Honey within a few hundred meters. For the famous Kamakura temples, they are several kilometers inland, so you would take the Enoden or a taxi to reach them. It is a good spot to enjoy the seaside side of Kamakura before heading further into the city.
From Kamakura Station, take the Enoden line to Enoshima Station, about 5 minutes walk (450m) from the hotel. From Tokyo, take the JR Yokosuka Line to Kamakura Station, roughly 60 minutes. From Haneda Airport, take the Keikyu Line to Yokohama, then the JR Yokosuka Line to Kamakura. From Narita, take the Narita Express to Ofuna, then the JR Yokosuka Line to Kamakura. The Shonan Monorail Shonan Enoshima Station is also 5 minutes walk (460m) away. A taxi or pre-booked transfer from Kamakura Station is a simple option too.
In the evening, you can take a short stroll to Enoshima, about 250 meters away, where the island's shrines and ocean views are especially atmospheric after dark. The nearby Koshigoe Beach and Katase Higashihama Beach, both just 100 meters from the hotel, offer a quiet seaside setting for a walk. For a bite or a drink, you'll find ゆうがた (200 m), 喜食家 (250 m), and なみのりチキン (250 m) close by. If you want more options, Enoshima Station is a 5-minute walk, and the area around it has cafes and shops that stay lively in the evening. The retro Enoden tram line runs nearby, making it easy to head toward Kamakura Station for a different scene.
Kamakura Del Costa is a great base for exploring Kamakura, especially if you want to combine the city's temples with the coast. The hotel is just a 1-minute walk from the beach, and Enoshima is about a 6-minute walk away, so you can easily start your day with sea views. For the famous sights, Gokuraku-ji is 3.6 km away, Hase-dera is 4.0 km, and Kotoku-in with the Great Buddha is 4.3 km, which means a short train or bus ride. The Enoden line is nearby, making it simple to reach the temple circuit and Kamakura Station. For farther spots like Engaku-ji at 6.1 km, you can hop on the same line. It's a convenient spot for both coastal relaxation and cultural sightseeing.
