I think these have the biggest rooms in all of Kanazawa and cater to more apartment style family holiday. Service is not really there, but it is self-serve by design. Got the Hyatt Centric (adjoining property) breakfast included in our rates, which was much better than Hyatt House breakfast. But even then the breakfast wasn’t something to write home about. In short the convenience of being close to the station, having great/large rooms and an excellent lobby downstairs where you can enjoy free drinks just made it for me. I would definitely stay here if I am in Kanazawa next.

We had a 3 night stay in a Twin Bed, Kitchen studio in May 2026. This room is 41sqm and so was the largest room we booked on our holiday to Japan. There is a full kitchen with larger size fridge, dishwasher, microwave, utensils, dining table for 2, lounge that can be converted to a sofa bed and 2 wardrobe areas which meant storage and hanging space was generous. |The beds are Japan firm but not overly uncomfortable, comparable to most hotels in Japan. |Our room overlooked the train tracks but we heard absolutely no noise from the trains at all. |The room aircon worked incredibly well, no issues. |The hotel is almost new, and everything was super clean. |Access to the train station is easy and very convenient. There is a very small uncovered section of street before you get to the hotel entryway (really not a big deal), otherwise you can enter via the Cross gate shopping centre. |The hotel has a nice terrace area and provides free drinks/snacks (including wine, beer, sake) to guests which was very pleasant in the afternoons and early evenings. |We had breakfast included in our stay and only utilised this on one morning, it was not the best variety or quality (scrambled eggs are not good) but there were some tasty items. I would recommend just eating breakfast out of the hotel. |There are many dining options at the train station or in the Forus shopping centre on the other side of the station. |The Omicho market is a do-able walk from the hotel and station.|We really enjoyed our stay here.

We had a fantastic stay at Hyatt House Kanazawa. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, and the location is excellent. What really made our stay memorable was the outstanding service. The staff were incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure we had the best possible experience. A special thank you to Mr. Kazuya Numata for his exceptional care and attention. We truly felt looked after from beginning to end and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

For a family of 4, I have zero complains. Reasonable rates! There were 4 super single beds and the room is so spacious. They had complimentary drinks from 11am-8pm! Best part, they’re right next to the JR station and bus terminal. There are also 2 nearby malls which is totally awesome. Everywhere’s so accessible..

The room was quite spacious, clean, and well maintained, and the bed was very comfortable. There was a desk large enough for two people to use their laptops, and there were plenty of power outlets available. The only downside was that the only Chinese TV channel available was CTi News, which has a noticeable political bias. I would recommend replacing it with a more neutral channel. The lobby offers complimentary coffee, tea, and soft drinks. There are also plenty of tables and chairs, providing a comfortable space for guests to relax and chat.

### Perfect Location & Exceptional Service (With a Tiny Caveat!) I chose Hyatt House Kanazawa primarily for its location right next to the Shinkansen station, as I was traveling with very heavy suitcases and wanted to minimize the walk. Hyatt offers two properties right next to each other here: Hyatt House and Hyatt Centric. **The Amazing Service & Check-In Experience** I accidentally walked into the Hyatt Centric first, genuinely thinking that’s where my reservation was. Instead of just pointing me in the right direction, the incredibly friendly front desk agent personally walked me over to the Hyatt House and helped carry my heavy luggage. When I arrived at the Hyatt House desk, I had another pleasant surprise—the agent checking me in was from Taiwan, and the entire process was seamless. He also cleared up my initial confusion: while my room was at the House, the daily breakfast is actually hosted at the Centric, which explains why I mixed them up! **Room & Amenities** * **The Room:** Spacious, spotlessly clean, and clearly a fairly new hotel for the area. * **Location:** Unbeatable. Being right by the train station means you have effortless access to shopping, dining, and transit right at your doorstep. * **Breakfast:** Having breakfast over at the Hyatt Centric was great. They offered a wonderful, varied selection of food options every morning. **One Minor Critique** The only downside for me was the bed. The mattress was a little too firm for my personal preference, but this depends entirely on what kind of sleeper you are. Overall, this is a fantastic 4-star hotel. The staff at both properties go above and beyond, and the convenience can't be beat. I would definitely stay here again!

The rooms are still very nice, but I was very disappointed to see that breakfast is no longer provided. Converting the spacious former breakfast area into an exclusive space for hotel management (and rental facility) shows a clear lack of managerial focus on customer needs, especially when the H lounge is overflowing. The malfunctioning beer machine spills beer directly onto the floor, turning the bar area into a sticky mess. This is way below Hyatt standards. Although the customer-facing staff is still very hospitable and kind, and although I had enjoyed several weeks at Hyatt House Kanazawa as a destination hotel in the past, I doubt I will return given the current situation.

Perfect location for getting around Kanazawa, as it is right next to the train station with all the food courts, shopping, etc., but without the noise you usually get in cities. We booked a suite as we were staying for just over a week and wanted more space with a kitchen, lounge and dining area. Room was perfectly clean, spacious, all cooking amenities provided, and everything was restocked every day. Staff helpful with booking restaurants and other queries. e used the same day and next day laundry service which was excellent, but there is a guest laundry if you prefer that. Gym available, but we didn't use it. Only issue for us was that there were no proper gluten-free options in the breakfast buffet, e.g. yoghurt and GF bread. Having been to Japan previously, I was prepared for this with my own bread, oats, etc., but it meant that I would have been paying 22AUD per day to eat there with mostly my own food. We would absolutely stay there again and recommend it to others.
