Google· 4 months agoPros: The room was aesthetically pleasing, beautifully decorated and very well cleaned. The location was absolutely brilliant - inside the city walls and a quick walk from all the key spots in Kotor. 15 mins to the bus stand max and 5 mins to the main road. The complimentary juice and water + the toiletries were a great relief especially after a very hectic trip into the city. The vibe downstairs on the street was absolutely amazing. 1 min walk to starting point of Kotor Fortress walk 1 min walk to River Gate 5 min walk to Sea Gate 5 min walk to Cathedral Square 10 min walk to Gurdic Gate Lots of cute souvenirs shops, cafes and pubs just downstairs Drazen was super helpful. He was always availble on WhatsApp and helped us with multiple tips and tricks to get around Kotor as well. Cons: Wifi was patchy - good enough for WhatsApp messaging and uploading/downloading photos etc but not good enough for undisturbed video calls. The street below is noisy quite late into the night so if you're a light sleeper you might have issues sleeping. No great view from the room Overall absolute recommed. Cons are minor in our opinon compared to the Pros especially if you're on holiday and planning to be out for most of the day.

Tripadvisor· a year agoWe rented the two bedroom unit. The owner was extremely RUDE. He met us and showed us around. After he left we had significant WIFI issues so we messaged him. He admonished us for not telling him when he was there (DUH, we did not know yet). He said he was very busy and he would come by much later - we said no, we were going to bed, but he showed up after 10PM after us saying repeatedly IN CAPS not to come that evening. The unit was nice, clean. It is supposed to accommodate 4 adults, but the only place to sit is around a huge dining room table in the kitchen area. Instead of adding a small sofa or seating, there is a giant hutch and sideboard in the room plus the big table. There was nowhere to sit and visit except for the uncomfortable wooden dining chairs or sit in one another's bedroom. The WIFI was completely unsecured, and was almost unusable at night when trying to plan and book things. I think they own the building and everyone is using the same WIFI as no password. Location is good, as would any place be within the Old Town walls. It is about a 5 minute difficult walk to the apartment over cobblestone and then up a couple of flights of stairs. Would have rated three, but the owner was quite bizarre. Worst I have experienced in all my years of short term rentals in numerous countries. Oh and when he said to turn on the "air-conditioning" that means heat in the winter. Who knew!

Google· 10 months agoCharming Stay in the Heart of Kotor Old Town! I had a wonderful stay at this lovely apartment located right in the heart of Kotor’s Old Town. The atmosphere is truly unique – surrounded by centuries-old stone walls, charming rustic decor, and a peaceful vibe that makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time, but with all the modern comforts. The apartment was exceptionally clean, from the spotless bathroom to the perfectly made bed and fresh towels. Everything was in pristine condition, and you can really feel the attention to detail. The apartment is also very well equipped – it includes comfortable slippers, a hairdryer, and all the little essentials you might need for a pleasant and carefree stay. A special mention goes to the host, who was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth, and they were always available if we had any questions or needed recommendations. The location couldn’t be better – you’re just steps away from all the sights, restaurants, and charm of the Old Town, yet the apartment remains quiet and relaxing, offering a perfect place to unwind. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared stay in Kotor!

Google· 9 months agoI am writing this to offer a serious counter-perspective to the positive reviews here. While the location in the Old Town is central, do not assume this guarantees a professional or comfortable experience. Our stay was defined by unprovoked aggression from the host and a lack of basic utilities. 1. Unacceptable Host Conduct: The property’s reputation relies on 'host helpfulness,' but our experience was the opposite. Upon arrival, we encountered a jammed main door—a significant access and safety concern. When I called the host ('D') to resolve this, instead of assistance, I was yelled at and berated over the phone. Being shouted at by a proprietor while stranded at check-in is professionally inexcusable. It set a distressing tone for the entire trip. 2. Micromanagement of Utilities: Do not expect a comfortable long shower here. Hot water availability was severely limited. What makes this worse is the host’s controlling attitude toward the amenities; we were explicitly instructed not to touch the water heating geyser and forced to leave it on 'Eco mode.' You are effectively paying for a cold shower so the host can save a few cents on electricity. 3. Non-Functional WiFi: If you need to work, check emails, or plan your itinerary, look elsewhere. The WiFi signal was dismal and practically unusable throughout our stay. In 2025, reliable internet is a basic requirement, not a luxury. The issue was thick stone walls but surely there are WiFi boosters out there that could have solved this issue ? The Verdict: Kotor is full of beautiful apartments with professional management. There is no reason to spend your money at a place where the internet doesn't work, hot water is rationed, and the host responds to legitimate issues with aggression. Avoid.

Google· 2 years agoTo be clear, my rating for the actual apartment we stayed in is 5 stars. Apartment 2 is a lovely 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, kitchen / diner setup. The owners have thought hard and made it just what it needs to be with great bathrooms and spacious bedrooms. The issue is that the master bedroom is directly above the 'old town pub'. This is a very busy 'pub' which closes at 0100 with noise dying down at about 0130. The music from the 'pub' is very loud with music and the bass hitting all parts of the apartment. We raised this with the owner who takes the view that it is in the old town which is busy and noisy therefore to be expected. For the other apartments in the block I would probably agree. For one where the 'pub' with very loud music with heavy bass is directly beneath it, I would take a different view. More positively the owner is super helpful and super efficient with everything. Kotor is lovely, you probably need only one or two nights . If you are someone who stays up late, or who likes the nightlife, or who doesn't mind noise, or who struggles to hear you should go right ahead and book these apartments. If that isn't you then check which apartment you have booked. Given that we were in Montenegro we simply adjusted our timelines, ate late and stayed out late to try to and get around the issue. To be fair our tactic pretty much worked and we made the best of it.

Google· a year agoLocation is exceptional. You are literally inside the Venetian old town city walls. The apartman was very clean and tidy. Just a side note, if you are traveling with a car, you will have to park it and walk a little bit since this area is pedestrians only.

Tripadvisor· 3 years agoThe apartment is situated inside one of the original old buildings of Kotor within the city walls. It has easy access to everything in the old city. We were able to park a car about 200 m away in a public car park currently at no cost Well refurbished with plenty of space. We were travelling as two couples. It was great to have separate bedrooms each with its own bathroom. The host was very helpful, explained a number of useful things about the city and the apartment. He was easily reachable if required. As this apartment was within the city centre, it was very busy and noisy. However, this did not bother us and the noise seemed to stop around about midnight. The apartment was very comfortable and we slept well. We would have no hesitation about booking this apartment again.

Google· a year agoVery nice owner, We arrived and did not know we need to contact Before arriving So he came to us in five minutes to let us in. The apartment is very, very clean and quiet. Cute entrance and he gave us free water and apple Juice. Thank you!
