The worst experience we've had. There were bed bugs everywhere — different sizes, which tells you they'd been there a while, not just a one-off. And this wasn't confined to the bed: we found them on the walls, the ceiling, the towels, literally all over the room. We counted more than 10 bugs before we had to evacuate the room, and that's just what we managed to count in that time. When we checked in, the host told us everything was thoroughly sanitized. When we reported the bed bugs, he told us they'd had pest control 6 days before the incident, but he did not show any proof of it — meanwhile, we have photos and videos of the bugs ourselves. As mentioned, we found bugs ranging from tiny baby ones to large adults, and bed bugs need time to go through those different stages, so this clearly wasn't a fresh or isolated issue. I've since read other reviews and the host's responses to them, and honestly, whatever they're doing clearly isn't working, because this is not an an isolated case. On top of the bed bugs, there are black spots in parts of the room that look like mold. We also had no water for the last 24 hours of our stay. I understand a water issue can be out of the host's control, but the complete lack of communication or updates about it was not — we got nothing. Just AVOID this place.

Amazing stay, the staff is very kind. Rooms are very clean, bathroom too. The wifi works very well. The kitchen is modern so you can cook whatever you want and you can easily enjoy the sun on the balcony. Only 5min from the old town, and 1min from the closest beach, absolutely perfect.

This place has BED BUGS and is unapologetic about it. I have 12 bites across my body, a rash caused by an allergic reaction to them, they are unsightly and EXTREMELY itchy to the point of disturbing my sleep even a week after I checked out. I was waking up nightly because of them, even days later. I had to buy antihistamine tablets and cortisone cream. I had to almost boil ALL of my clothes and wash/hoover my entire luggage at my next accommodation to try and avoid bringing any bed bugs with me both there and to my home later. Due to having to wash all my clothes at such a high heat, the colours ran and every single white item was destroyed. So this was not just an uncomfortable stay - it is having long lasting repercussions that I am having to deal with, through absolutely no fault of my own. And the hotel did not seem to care at all. I presented the receptionist with my bites and an actual live bed bug (a monster, I might add, it was huge - you can see it in the photos) and not once did he say sorry. He thanked me for telling him, and he was not rude, but he literally did not say sorry. And they still have not. They offered a part refund, which I refused as it was insulting, and then I was told that was it - I would not get a refund even though they did not provide what they said they would - decent, hygienic accommodation. Internet research later confirmed that 12 bites in 2 nights was likely the result of 4 bed bugs, given that they dont feed very often. And given the size of the one I captured, it had been there a while. So this does not seem like a new issue.

Prime location and excellent service. Our host Vukasen was really cooperative and gave us day trip ideas to cover Perast, Budva and nearby spots. Recommended for a nice stay for small group trip or solo trip … met really nice people as well.

BED BUGS ALERT!!!|My experience was horrible!|First the place smell like a toilet all the time.|Secondly I have woken up after the first night with bites,did not think nothing about it as you know bed bugs are not felt immediately however I am allergic therefore more sensitive to their bites so during the day they started to get itchier and bigger,still did not think any of it as I am not familiar with the mosquitos of the area.|During the second night I woke up at 4 in the morning itching and feeling something in my face ,turns out I had bites covering my body and my face swelling up horribly.|Then I knew,I checked the bed and saw them,not only them the skin shedding of them ,to all this I have photos and proof.|I immediately send a message to the person from the place talking to me in what's up at 4:30 in the morning,and slept the rest of the night and hour or two on the floor! As I cannot sleep in the bed and cannot go anywhere else at that time.|The person answer in the morning around 8:30 simply denying it without even checking and said he will be there in 30 min.|We waited for him,showed him my bites showed him the bugs shedding and all the proof ,he seemed a little shocked.|We didn't want to cause any issue as this we thought was not the place fault,so we left with an honest concern and alerted the place about this horrible issue that they have (by the way,if you don't know the skin shedding takes 5 days therefore not brought by us as we stayed 2 nights).|After talking to the manager which I really thought would tell us immediately that she would refund us and apologize -we realized it's the opposite,she (Milkica )completely denied and continue to say the hostel doesn't have bugs , which is crazy as we showed her proof.|That's where I understood they don't want to refund or take any responsibility,would not even do anything about it as this is not the first review I see (now after unfortunately) about the bed bugs .|She also told me I didn't tell her I have allergy that's why is not her fault hahahah ,as if I need to say it and it is not a normal thing to not want bugs in your bed.|They also have desinfaction next to their kitchen and that made me understand it's not the first time and would not be the last.|Good luck.

Bed bugs alert!!!!! After we showed them all proof we actually saw the skin shed of the bugs and my body was covered in bites,still they didn't want to return our measley two nights fee. Now I see other people had the same issue. They are answering canned response to everyone meaning this is definitely not the first time or the last!they need to be stoped!

The best place to stay in as a solo traveler or a friends group, it’s clean, well-equipped and close to both the old town and the beach (the second picture is the view from the terrace)
