Tripadvisor· a month agoWe stayed here for 3 nights and had a fantastic stay. The rooms were modern and very comfortable. All the staff were very friendly and service was excellent. The pool bar view is fantastic, particularly at night with a great view of KL tower. Sun beds and pool furniture were really comfortable, just wish there was room for more beds. The pool bar snacks were delicious! Cocktails were unusual but good and we were lucky to have 1 hour free cocktails included in our package.|A can of beer was 32RM, gin and tonic from 30RM. Breakfast was plentiful with a good choice of coffees, juice, pastries, waffles, fruit etc. There was also an omelette/ egg station and a choice of hot western and local cuisine. We walked most of KL and the hotel was about a 15-20 minute walk to the Petronas Towers. It was really easy to catch a Grab taxi from hotel. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

Google· 2 months agoGreat staff at the reception, got quiet room upon request during check-in, and towels after checkout hour to have a shower before our late flight. Room was great, and also easy to cast to the tv from the phone. The rooftop pool was great and nice view. To really become a 5-star I would recommend following improvements: * A bit better cleaning of the room/toilets * There was only flat pillows, for a five star should be able to provide two different pillow styles for better sleep * Better insulation of the rooms to provide privacy * Breakfast buffe was average 3/4star hotel quality and offering. * The all day menu was very poor, very limited choices * The rooftop bar offer no snacks or bites until after 5pm...

Trip.com· 3 months agoGreat hotel in chilled and cool area, convenient and walkable within 20mins to KL’s main tourist sights, but enough out of the chaos of the central touristy parts in a cool neighbourhood with restored shophouses and with a good selection of local and more upmarket food options. Very close to a few malls and grocery store, as well as MRT and monorail stations for connectivity. Excellent location to explore KL and return to hotel and enjoy the wonderful rooftop pool and bar. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were very well appointed and comfortable.

Google· 4 months agoThe location was excellent. There were plenty of trendy restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance, which made the area feel vibrant and enjoyable. Unlike the busy Pavilion and Twin Towers district, it wasn’t overcrowded, yet it never felt too quiet either—just the perfect balance. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and the hotel was very clean and well-maintained. Their hospitality and attention to detail made my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I would happily stay here again on my next visit to Kuala Lumpur.

Google· 2 months agoStayed 4 nights travelling with family. Staff very friendly and helpful especially Naveed on the front door. Shower was one of the best rain showers we have had in a hotel though the sink being outside the bathroom was a little strange. Nice pool for a cooling dip with great views of KL tower. Lots of places to eat and drink close by and access to petronas towers not far by LRT.

Google· 2 months agoGreat hotel in a good location. Doesn’t feel too ‘corporate’ and the staff are great. Food was good with lovely breakfast. Rooftop pool and bar is a lovely spot. The reason for a 4* review is our room was at the front and for 2 nights from about 1am we were kept awake by very loud club music. When we asked to change the hotel could not have been more helpful and moved us to a room on the other side that was very peaceful. So great hotel but get a room at the back.

Google· Edited 3 months agoHad a great stay at Hotel Stripes KL. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating especially Bir at the front door. Coffee and dessert shops conveniently located nearby. We did experience loud music from a nearby club during the first night but we were kindly moved to another room the following night. Special thanks to Hasan who returned an earring I left behind in previous room :) Would highly recommend!

Google· a month agoWent here on our honeymoon. Widly excited our first interaction of our trip we arriving at this hotel and dealing with an arrogant, rude and patronising reception from a staff member called Towfiq. The guy lacks basic customer service skills and frankly shouldn't be anywhere near front of house. The hotel itself - our "city view" room has the windows covered and looked at a river full of rubbish and construction. We were awoken every night by the noise from the street or the mosque next door. The shower in our room was almost see through, which was uncomfortable - even for a honeymoon couple. The hotel bar was expensive and the pool would have been lovely except all the guests turned up at the same time, so it was almost too small for the number of people staying. The saving grace for the hotel was the cleaner on level 15. Not only did he clean it our rooms well, he was incredibly sweet, polite, massive smile and ultra welcoming every time we saw him. He embodied what we thought we were going to get from the staff at the hotel. Quite frankly, him and Towfiq should swap places. Incredibly disappointed we spent some of our honeymoon at this hotel.
