I booked this hotel for a weekend getaway with my wife. Initially, we had planned to stay somewhere else, but somehow ended up booking this one instead. Turns out, it was actually the right decision.The location is excellent—within walking distance to both the LRT station and bus stop, which made getting around very convenient. The room was impressively spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was also a highlight, with a wide variety of delicious options. It was my first time trying glutinous rice with grated coconut and dried fish—surprisingly good and memorable!However, not everything was perfect. On the night of our stay, I had a rather unfortunate experience. Around 2 a.m., I was awakened by the sound of kids revving their motorcycles as if preparing for a race. Sadly, I couldn’t fall back asleep after that—so much for a peaceful night. There was also a bit of dust in the corner near the bed, suggesting housekeeping could be a little more thorough.Overall, I’m very satisfied with the stay. A great hotel—just with a slightly unexpected midnight “entertainment.”

Location wise,the hotels is very easy to find,As we arrive a bit late with last minute booking we still get the room type we want.The room was quite good with all basic amenities especially inside the bathroom with Ben Sherman toiletries and very clean.The bed was very comfortable with good tv channel.The atmosphere was very quite at night and a very good value for money.Noise level very minimal but you can still hear the train passing by in the quiet hours in the early morning but still not too noisy.Amenities inside rooms was also okay.Value wise,it is still within budget. The service was good but nothing to shout loud as we arrive a bit late at night but check in and out was fast.|The only minus point was the parking was very limited as the parking space was shared with the building next door and not free (The RM4.50 per entry for guest is still can be consider cheap though).|The parking area was a bit dark and tight.|Next time I will try their F&B.

I run trainings, and hotel services play a major part of the experience for my participants and myself. The banquet staff at Ideas Hotel are very helpful and friendly, especially Miss Linda. Tea-breaks (morning and evening) and the lunch buffet are superbly sumptuous. There's so much to eat, with a variety of food for all tastes. Definitely hope to come back again when I have future seminars and trainings.

We had superb great stay at the hotel ideas Kuala Lumpur. Our experience started with the hotel complimentary buggy service from the parking, which runs daily from around 7am and takes you directly to the hotel lobby very convenient touch. As soon as we entered the beautiful lobby, we were welcomed by the extremely grateful MOD (Tuan Rizal) and extremely great staff at the front desk, this excellent service continued throughout our stay, Our room was fabulous, spacious and cleaned daily to the high standard and the helpful very superb great staff service through friendship by ( Mr Sohaiban ). We had breakfast each morning, which offered a wide selection of dishes from different cuisines around the world. Even during busy periods, there were plenty of staff on hand to keep everything running smoothly. We also enjoyed the 3rd floor swimming pool, which becames a bar in the evening, a lovely spaces to relax. The swimming pool was a good size and staff regularly placed fresh towels on the sun lounges as soon as others vacated. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and we will definitely visit again to stay at the ideas hotel and also would 100% recommend the ideas hotel kuala Lumpur to anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur.

in the centre of the town. accessible to like most everythg, Sogo especially. the room is good, comfortable. love the bed and the pillows. amenities are there, fridge as well. TV channels? jst nice.

The room is clean, spacious, good lighting. The bed, pillow, blanket, all very cozy and fluffy. Walking distance to SOGO and PERTAMA Complex. The foods are delicious. One thing that I love about the seminar room is the toilet is in there, so no need to find outside toilet. Very helpful during seminar.

We had a wonderful stay at Idea Hotel last weekend under the staycation offer. This was actually our 4th time staying here, and the experience was excellent as always. This time we booked 9 rooms for our family, and everything was well arranged. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable. We also had berbuka puasa at Citarasa Restaurant, and the food was delicious with a great variety of dishes. Our whole family really enjoyed it. Special thanks to Miss Khadijah at the reception counter for helping with the booking and arranging all our rooms on the same level. We also appreciate Mr Fazwan, Miss Syikin, from the Citarasa Restaurant for assisting with our family reservation. Thank you for the warm hospitality. Our family had a great time and we will definitely come back again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The reception staff at Ideas Hotel Kuala Lumpur deserve full credit. They were courteous, accommodating, gave us an early check in, and honored our request for a quiet floor by assigning us a room on the 13th floor. The room itself was spacious, clean, modern, and very well designed. Unfortunately, the positives ended there. The biggest disappointment was the Wi-Fi. It was so unreliable that we had to take work calls from the lobby or use our own 5G mobile data. When we reported the issue, the only solution offered was to change our room, which was highly inconvenient after we had already unpacked. We even suggested alternatives such as providing a wired connection, a Wi-Fi booster, or another practical solution, but none were considered. We also pointed out that if Wi-Fi is advertised as an included facility but cannot be provided, guests should at least be compensated. The response remained the same: only a room change could be offered. The breakfast buffet was another letdown. Although the warming trays felt warm on the outside, the food inside was cold. I literally asked them to heat pasta in their microwave. When we informed the restaurant supervisor and staff, they showed little concern. The overall attitude of the restaurant team felt cold, unprofessional, uninterested and lacked the hospitality you expect from a hotel. Finally, although our floor itself was quiet, the hotel is located between two busy roads. From around midnight until 4:30 a.m., the constant noise from motorcycles and traffic made it almost impossible to sleep. I noticed several older reviews mentioning the same issue, yet nothing seems to have changed. The hotel should seriously consider improving its window soundproofing because a good night’s sleep is one of the main reasons people book a hotel. Overall, I felt I overpaid for this stay. While the reception team was excellent, the unreliable Wi-Fi, disappointing breakfast, and sleepless night made this a hotel I would not choose again. I hope the management starts addressing these recurring issues instead of replying with generic responses.
