Overall, we had an excellent experience throughout our 3-day event. The function room was comfortable, well maintained and suitable for our programme. The guest rooms were clean, comfortable and highly appreciated by our participants. The hotel environment also provided a warm, relaxing and welcoming atmosphere that was ideal for learning, reflection and meaningful interaction. One aspect that our participants particularly enjoyed was the availability of multiple seating areas, tables and casual discussion spaces around the hotel. These spaces naturally encouraged small-group conversations, networking and deeper sharing outside the formal programme sessions. This significantly enhanced the overall experience of our retreat and created many meaningful moments among participants. We would also like to commend the hotel team for their professionalism, responsiveness and genuine hospitality throughout the event. We were especially touched when one of our participants, who could only consume mineral water due to personal requirements, was assisted by a hotel staff member who personally went out to purchase the appropriate bottled water. This thoughtful gesture went far beyond normal service expectations and left a lasting impression on our team. It truly reflected a high level of care and commitment to guest satisfaction. We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. Hafiz, Mr. Mia and Mr. Aman for their outstanding support throughout the planning and execution of our event. Mr. Hafiz was highly responsive, approachable and accommodating during the pre-event coordination stage. His willingness to communicate openly and provide practical solutions made the entire planning process smooth and enjoyable. During the event itself, Mr. Mia and Mr. Aman were consistently present, attentive and readily available whenever assistance was required. Their professionalism, prompt support and commitment to ensuring everything ran smoothly gave us great confidence as organisers. Their dedication and willingness to go the extra mile contributed significantly to the success of our programme. Together, Mr. Hafiz, Mr. Mia and Mr. Aman demonstrated excellent teamwork, professionalism and genuine hospitality. Their commitment to guest satisfaction created a positive and memorable experience for both the organisers and participants. As a suggestion for improvement, the breakfast selection and overall taste could be further enhanced by offering a wider variety of choices. In addition, some of the soup dishes served during lunch were slightly on the salty side and could be adjusted accordingly. Other than these minor suggestions, we were highly satisfied with the overall experience and sincerely appreciate the excellent support provided by the entire STEG Hotel team. We would be happy to recommend the hotel to others and look forward to future collaboration opportunities.

The hotel was great! The room was extremely clean, I didn’t even need to check the bed for bed bugs before sleeping. The lobby is perfect for ootd pics and the cafe looked cute on the outside but unfortunately I went to bread and bricks to eat. The location is a little sketchy there’s only one restaurant just outside but it’s a little far from Bread and Bricks and the other food locations (had to take a 10 minute grab). There’s also no parking, had to pay 12rm/day which is quite expensive in my opinion. The view was lovely, however, I couldn’t watch anything on the TV because there was no signal. Overall, great hotel, just lacks in parking and location.

Had I known more about this hotel I would never have contemplated a hotel stay at this awful hotel.It would appear the Steg caters for predominantly Chinese tourists arriving in droves every single day.These Chinese tourists have no respect and regard for others staying in the hotel.They are extremely rude, very loud and disruptive at every level in the breakfast room, the lifts and in general public areas,They dominate the breakfast room and we learnt to arrive very early to ensure we had a seat.What’s most uncomfortable is that they have no respect and regard for others charging and pushing you on all fronts!What’s even worse they sit opposite you at the table and slurp, cough and spit at the table, how disgusting can this be.We tolerated this for a long time without a choice.This was a holiday package offered by a tour operator no mention of them as other holidays have been superb in different hotel environments in KL.The staff don’t say anything as they favour this sort of outrageous attitude and behaviours.|Even in hotel room noise was transmitted all day, all night disrupting essential sleep patterns.When raised with hotel staff nothing was done this was tolerated for days before they vacated the hotel.It is unacceptable for individuals wanting peace and quiet especially at night.Not recommended at all unless you wish to suffer like us the entire holiday! Avoid at all costs!

Overall, a nice boutique hotel. The room is clean, modern and quite spacious (u get what you pay for). However, the AC is kinda hot. Breakfast is unfortunately not worth the money. Theres no omelette station and very limited food choices.

Staying for multiple days and noticed huge change in the breakfast on the third day! It felt like the hotel changed the entire team, and there was so much food. I will definitely come back next time!

The room was excellent and exceptionally clean, exceeding my expectations. However, the breakfast was below average, as no food, including tea and coffee, was hot. Parking presented a significant issue; I was directed to a parking area away from the hotel, as I was unaware that advance booking was required. Despite several empty spaces in front of the hotel, the foreign worker in charge stated that all such spaces were fully booked.

I stay at this hotel every time I come to KL, but I can only say the service has been getting worse and worse. Can you imagine reporting that a stranger attempted to open your hotel room door, and after I confirmed twice, the front desk still told me there was nothing they could do? If you cannot even guarantee your guests’ safety, then why should anyone pay such a high price to stay here? During this stay, I experienced the following: 1. Early check-in issue Due to a change in my itinerary, I called in advance to ask whether early check-in was possible. I was clearly told yes, but with an additional charge, so I arrived accordingly. However, upon arrival, the staff told me they would never have given such an answer. Honestly, even if they had just said there was no room available, I wouldn’t have been this upset. Fine — I waited and checked in again at 3:00 PM as instructed, yet the room was still not ready and being cleaned. 2. Extremely poor handling of a harassment/safety incident The attitude and response from the staff were disappointing and unacceptable for a hotel of this level. 3. Housekeeper entered the room without permission A housekeeper used a spare key to enter our room without our consent. When I called to question this, the explanation given was that our room electricity was turned on. Honestly, that explanation is ridiculous. If I turn on the electricity in my room, does that mean I’m running a sauna inside? I can provide photos of the relevant staff members if needed. Very disappointing experience overall. This is not the standard I used to expect from this hotel.

Went for 2D1N . The lobby quite nice and spacious. Parking is limited. The room and bathroom are clean. But not much choice for breakfast. I ate Lemon fish taste horrible. Dry sausage & nuggets. The cereal taste cheap. The eggs counter I ordered omelette , self service for omelette condiments, and turns out like telur dadar. I need ask the chef to remove it before its over cooked. Nasi goreng taste nothing. Same goes with mee goreng. Saw the chef came out to refill the food without wearing a sock. Lol
