We just wrapped up a two-day training at the Gallery Hall, Level 1, and it was such a wonderful experience! A special thank you to Azlan and Pei Lin for making everything run so smoothly. Even though we had a few last minute changes to the schedule and some seating arrangement adjustments, they handled everything professionally, efficiently, and always with a smile. We honestly felt bad about the last minute requests, but they were incredibly understanding and reassured us that they were happy to help. Their responsiveness, positive attitude, and excellent service truly made a difference. The venue itself was lovely, with a beautiful terrace view and plenty of greenery that created a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The food was delicious, and the morning and afternoon tea breaks, especially the kuih muih, were a favourite among our participants. It really helped create a warm and welcoming environment throughout the training. We would also like to compliment the rest of the hotel team. Every staff member we met was genuinely friendly and welcoming. They always greeted us and our participants with a warm smile, whether it was a "Good morning," "Welcome," "Hi," or "Thank you." These small gestures made everyone feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout our time at the hotel. Thank you once again to Azlan, Pei Lin, and the entire team at The Kuala Lumpur Journal Hotel for your outstanding hospitality. We truly appreciate all your support and would be delighted to organise more training programmes with you again in the future. We also look forward to staying at the hotel someday. Wishing your team continued success, and we hope to see you again soon!

We stayed at the Journal Hotel in Bukit Bintang for 10 nights in February.This is an incredible boutique hotel that offers a much superior total experience than the larger so called franchise hotels. It was a 5 star plus experience. The staff at the hotel are so hospitable and service oriented. Thank you Afif, Amin, Munira and everyone else at the Journal.But I would like to give a massive thank you to the incredible Mr Anamul, wow!!! I have told many friends and family about this amazing gentleman upon our return. We can’t wait to go back to the Journal and would highly, highly recommend this hotel if you want an extraordinary experience on your next visit to KL. Steven and Jas B.

The location of the hotel is excellent - 5 min walk to main strip but far enough out of the chaos. The staff are all very kind and generous and will do anything to make your stay comfortable. A big shout out to Fahid and Afif at the front desk they always greet you with a happy smile. The security guard Khadag is also very friendly and always ready to help with anything and the resident cat Donny is a regular visitor in the afternoon who gets well looked after too. Highly recommend this hotel for all guests.

I had a very pleasant stay and would like to thank the entire team for their excellent hospitality. The staff were friendly and professional throughout my stay.The hotel is well maintained, and the service standard is commendable. I especially appreciated the warm attitude of the staff, who always made me feel welcome.The only areas that could be improved are the lift waiting time during peak periods, as the lifts can take quite a while to arrive, and the ventilation at the car park lift lobby, which could be enhanced to provide a more comfortable environment for guests. Overall, it was a great experience despite our shortened stay, and I would gladly return in the future. Thank you to the team for their excellent service and dedication.

Excellent Service & Outstanding Hospitality Had a really good experience with The Journal Hotel KL, especially thanks to Azlan, Senior Sales Manager. He was very helpful, friendly and accommodating throughout the whole process. I really appreciate how he handled my requests and made everything easier and smoother for me. His good PR and willingness to help definitely made a difference. Thank you Azlan, for the great service and hospitality. Really appreciate it! Highly recommended!

Third year in a row we've stayed at The Journal, it keeps getting better. Staff are extremely accommodating, so considerate. The hotel has made some alterations in the lobby & dining areas, all great improvements. The loud music that was always played in the pool area is now so mellow & relaxing, a much better space. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we'll always come back when we're in KL.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel where everything is designed to make your life easier. Excellent location. Great, lively neighborhood, yet our room was quiet. Laundromat in the basement. We especially thank Aiman ​​at reception for his professionalism and helpfulness, and the gentleman who took such good care of us at breakfast.

My stay at KL Journey hotel was AMAZING! It was very comfortable, fantastic customer service from all staff who go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable especially Farid who I saw daily/ regularly during my stay who was always smiling, happy to talk to me and help me with anything I needed. The journal hotel is in a great central location (less then 5 minute walk) and easy for drop off/ pick up, it’s very clean, modern, the food was tasty with a great variety and also includes a complimentary afternoon tea, overall the hotel facilities, the pool (great city views) pool bar (wide selection) and room were brilliant. I felt very safe here as a solo female traveller. I’d happily stay here again and highly recommend to others! I can’t wait to return one day! Thank you ☺️
