Tripadvisor· a month agoI booked Amor Arenal for my honeymoon! We absolutely LOVED the experience! The food is delicious, the location is perfect, casitas (King size casita room) are so luxurious and view is amazing!!!! Their staff is so warm and friendly they surprised us with homemade chocolates and cake, card everyday which made our honeymoon even more special! I cannot recommend this place enough - definitely 100% value for money! The cleanliness is A1 - EXCEPTIONAL customer service! The amenities are beautiful and the location is offbeat - we saw sloths and howler monkeys! Would definitely come here again on my anniversary.

Google· 4 months agoAttending a wedding at Amor Arenal was truly one of the most incredible travel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, everything felt luxurious, peaceful, and thoughtfully curated. The villas were absolutely stunning. Waking up to breathtaking views of the Arenal Volcano right from our private porch felt unreal. The resort is tucked into the jungle, so everywhere you look is lush, vibrant, and beautifully maintained. One of my favorite moments was simply relaxing and listening to the rain hit the tin roof. It was unbelievably serene. Our villa was spotless, beautifully designed, and stocked with every comfort you could think of including robes, slippers, toiletries, and a mini bar. The walk-in shower and private hot tub made it feel like a true luxury retreat, and the AC worked perfectly after long days exploring Costa Rica. What truly made the experience unforgettable was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was warm, genuine, attentive, and incredibly kind. They somehow knew every guest by name and constantly anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask. You could tell they genuinely cared about creating a special experience. One of the coolest moments was when staff members stopped our golf cart to point out sloths in the trees. That level of hospitality and excitement made the stay feel so personal and memorable. The service at Amor Arenal is the kind of hospitality other resorts should aspire to. The resort hosted our meals throughout the wedding weekend, and every breakfast, lunch, and dinner was excellent. The food felt authentic and gave us a real taste of Costa Rican cuisine, especially staples like traditional rice and beans. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Although I didn’t personally attend the spa services or yoga classes, many people in our group did and had amazing things to say about both. The wedding reception and event spaces were also absolutely beautiful and perfectly matched the natural surroundings of the resort. Every detail felt elevated without losing the magic of being immersed in nature. I genuinely cannot say enough wonderful things about Amor Arenal. Between the incredible views, luxurious accommodations, outstanding food, and some of the best hospitality I’ve ever experienced, it was an unforgettable stay. If you’re looking for a luxury jungle resort experience in Costa Rica, this place is truly special.

Trip.com· a year agoAbsolutely loved this place. The grounds were beautiful and you felt like you were really in the middle of the jungle, but with all your creature comforts. Breakfast each morning was great, with a good choice of local and western options. Would definitely stay again.

Google· 3 months agoWe began our honeymoon staying at Amor Arenal and it was an absolute incredible experience. The location is gorgeous, with our room having a wonderful view of the Arenal volcano. We got lucky with the weather and were able to see it every single day! The rooms were beautiful and clean, and the hotel staff did a great job with making sure they were kept up and restocked every single day during our stay. One of my husbands and I's favorite part was the breakfast! They offered a variety of locally inspired dishes, and it was such a wonderful way to start the day each morning. We also did the Costa Rican dinner experience which was a 5-course dinner highlighting traditional dishes, which also included a cocktail pairing for each dish. That was such a fun experience. The property was beautiful and designed so eloquently to highlight the nature surrounding it. Their swim-up bar was also amazing, it was heated at the perfect temperature, and the bar area was covered, so during the daily afternoon shower we could sit under the overhand and sit in the heated pool enjoying a drink while also enjoying the beauty and sounds of rain in the jungle! Lastly, THE CHEFS CORNER WAS AMAZING. Every single person who stays at Arenal should do the Chefs Corner dinner experience. It was hands down the best culinary experience my husband and I both have ever had. We are already planning on going back for our 5-year anniversary to stay at Amor Arenal and do the chefs corner dinner again. Everyone should stay here! Just do it!!!

Tripadvisor· a month agoAbsolutely incredible location and amenities. Booked a few nights here for our Honeymoon and couldn’t have been more pleased. They accommodations in the room were more than I expected and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. I wish that we had been able to spend more time here, especially given the romantic atmosphere and beautiful volcano views. We didn’t even have to leave the breakfast table or respite before seeing incredible wildlife. Overall an incredible value and experience! Can’t wait to come back!

Google· 4 months agoWe truly had the best stay. In fact, I regret splitting our trip between here and the beach. We would have been perfectly content to spend our full trip at Amor Arenal. This place is truly magical. From the private drive when you pull up, to the lush pathways leading to the individual casitas, to the rooms themselves, all I can say is wow. Jaw dropping views, complete privacy, and excellent service. It was delightful, and we enjoyed seeing countless animals outside our room every night. Don’t hesitate to book! This place was amazing.

The hikes allow you enjoy nature and see animals like monkeys, birds and sloths! I highly recommend this resort!

Tripadvisor· a month agoWe had an INCREDIBLE stay at Amor Arenal! The team is world-class, and the overall atmosphere was incredible. It was awesome having the team pick you up from your own private cottage and bring you around the resort on a gold cart, and everyone was very knowledgable about the vast wildlife you can see on premise. I couldn't recommend staying at Amor Arenal enough.
