We had an excellent stay at New Fairmount Hotel, and the outstanding service truly contributed to our wonderful experience both at the hotel and in Livingstone. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and supported throughout our visit. A special thank you to Jegadeesh and Alan, who were exceptionally friendly, thoughtful, and always happy to help. They made time for great conversations, ensured we were comfortable, and generously assisted with complimentary laundry which was much needed after our safari trip in Botswana. They offered us a complimentary transport to the Zimbabwe border as well.

The rooms are spacious - it’s the oldest British hotel in town - staff super friendly - bedding ok - sanitary a bit old - cleanliness ok - rooms to the street a bit loud

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! As a woman traveling alone, I felt completely safe, welcomed, and cared for by the entire team. Everyone was so warm and attentive. A special shoutout to Allen, who checked in on me daily and was always going above and beyond to take care of guests’ needs. Thank you also to Wendy for helping coordinate my tours and making everything so easy. The rooms are clean, the restaurant food is delicious, and the hotel is in a central location that made getting around very convenient. I truly felt looked after during my stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Awesome place. Very attentive staff. Free transfer from the border. Tasty Indian food in the restaurant. The only bad point was WiFi which was problematic.

​Came here for a side mission from the Zim side of Vic Falls. It was a new experience; crossing over the border was a headache, but once I was picked up by the hotel, everything smoothed out. ​The staff are very welcoming and truly looked after us throughout our stay. We had dinner at the hotel accompanied by live music, which was really good and a great touch to the evening. The breakfast had freshly made eggs and pancakes but the bacon and sausages didn't taste so fresh. ​While the exterior of the building definitely needs some work, please don't let that put you off—the rooms are much better than the outside suggests. The beds are very comfy definitely on the springy side but the pillows feel a bit hard 😬 . Great hospitality overall! Just be mindful as there's a side with a club attached and when there's a live band there's a side that literally cannot escape the live music. So I'd definitely check with reception if you'll be having early nights.

We were treated with excellent service at New Fairmount Hotel that contributed to our great experience at the hotel and in Livingstone. Allen was very friendly and enjoyed conversation, he was thoughtful and offered us complementary transport, room service and room upgrades. We had some some significant issues with transport unrelated to the hotel, but the staff including the hotel manager help us resolve these issues in our interest. Great location, and nice pool for the warm days. Will definitely come back here when I return to Livingstone.

I had a great time, the rooms were very clean and the staff a pleasure, very responsive and friendly. A special mention to two members of staff Allan and Mwiche, you are great, please keep it up. You showed the highest standards of professional. I will be definitely coming back.

This is a very nice hotel in the centre of Livingstone - close to shops, restaurants and offices, but what makes it exceptional is the very friendly staff and fantastic manager, who always responds to your needs, the rooms are big and beds are very comfortable, good and tasty food for breakfast and dinner.
