This amazing B&B in Lucca is a gem. Stylish, clean, with beautifully-appointed rooms, excellent air conditioning, and a very comfortable bed. The owners look after you with true care and grace. Oh yes, and the breakfasts are fabulous too. I want to return very soon! Grazie mille M & M!

Came to Villa la Tuia on short notice. The rooms are very clean, and the location is perfect. The host, Monica (Mony), provides wonderful attentive service.

What a wonderful place! Monica and Manuela are the perfect hosts and go out of their way to make your trip very memorable with so many thoughtful touches. We celebrated our first wedding anniversary whilst staying here and they made it extra special! Thank you ladies x Our welcome was warm and friendly and that continued throughout our stay. The villa overlooks the walls of Lucca so ideally situated and has been beautifully restored. All areas are immaculate and our bedroom was spacious, tastefully furnished and had everything we needed. Trains from Lucca are excellent so we didn’t need to hire a car to travel to Pisa, Cinque Terre and Florence , however car parking is available at the villa if you need to drive. Thank you Monica & Manuela (and the lady who kept our room spotless and restocked daily) for a wonderful stay in Lucca and we wish you the very best for the future. Tracey & Jonathan

For a classic villa vibe with great location and excellent and friendly service this is a place of choice. Add to that great location just outside the old city walls and bright and neat interior deco. Good breakfast served on your room’s balcony. Secure parking on the premises. Highly recommend!!

Beautifully renovated villa. The hosts are great.|Rooms are of decent size and the high ceilings make them even more spacious. When the weather is nice they can serve your breakfast at your own balcony or on the common terrace if your room doesn’t have one. |The villa has its own parking lot in the back so you don’t have to worry about parking. The walled city of Lucca starts right across the street. |It’s a wonderful little town with very well preserved historical center.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 lovely nights at Villa La Tuia. Monica and Manuela were exceptional hosts ... kind, warm, helpful and efficient. Inside and out, the property is absolutely incredible, restored to the highest quality in every detail. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Optimal location for easy access, spacious and secure parking, and short walking distance to all of Lucca's amazing sights. After living in Italy for 4 years and traveling extensively, Villa La Tuia is the absolute best B&B we have ever experienced!

Gorgeous villa just outside walls of Lucca. Beautifully decorated room with high ceilings, comfy bed & well appointed bathroom. Breakfast is served on a patio at rear of property with choice of cooked eggs, meats, cheeses & pastries all served by the friendly hosts. The parking is a very welcome & easy add on. Our room did not have a view but we were so close to Lucca & all the town offered, it didn’t matter. We arrived after usual check in but the host sent us photos & instructions so that we could get in. She also phoned to make sure that we were ok. I cannot fault this property, it was superb

Fantastic stay. Best place to stay in Lucca. 5 minute walk to be inside the walled city. Monica and Manuela are wonderful hosts. Service is top notch and rooms are great. Beautiful breakfast included outside in the garden. Stayed at several wonderful places in Lucca but this beats them all.
