Was in this hotel for one night and overall had a good but not excellent experience. The location is great and in walking distance to the city center. The rooms have an industrial vibe and feel somewhat cold and anemic, so it’s more of a functional than cosy and homely stay. What’s a nice touch is the refreshing water station and free pastries on the ground floor. Also the coffee machine in the room left nothing to be desired. The breakfast was solid but definitely not very memorable. Some more bread and fruit options would have been greatly appreciated. The reception staff was friendly but made a slightly bored impression.

Our room was very clean and neat. A nice bathroom that has everything you might need, outlets by the bedside and some chairs for clothes. There was no view from our windows, but we didn't need this during our city trip. The breakfast is great, with multiple options for everyone (vegetarian/vegan options), fresh fruits and a good coffee machine, there was enough options to choose from. We were happy to see that there was not too much of everything on the buffet, to prevent waste of food. Outside of the rooms and the breakfast, there is a luggage room for when you arrive before the check-in opens, but also for your last day in Maastricht to store your luggage. There are plenty of free additional services, like a wine hour late in the afternoon, a small cinema and popcorn, fresh lemonade and fruit water and hand fruits to pick up on your way out to the city. The personnel was very helpful and friendly as well.

We were very pleased that we had reserved this hotel, our check-in was swift and friendly and our room was huge. Everything was very clean and the coffee machine in the room was very welcome. Comfortable bed guaranteed a good night’s sleep. Perfect location, just a short walk into the centre and the Vrijthof area. We didn’t take breakfast in the hotel, we felt that 19 euros was a bit too much, however, we walked outside into the street and had a wonderful breakfast sat outside in the warm sunshine in one of the many pavement cafes. We can highly recommend The Mabi Hotel Centrum, I would be surprised if you were disappointed here.

Good location; quality and cleanliness need improvement. The breakfast selection was limited, and unfortunately, the hot dishes were cold. Cleanliness throughout the hotel was poor. Furnishings were heavily worn.

Mabi City Centre Hotel – Back to the Nineties A nice hotel with a unique “back to the nineties” theme. The interior is a little outdated, but that seems to be part of its charm, creating a pleasant cinematic atmosphere. We were welcomed with a complimentary drink, and there were snacks and wine available between 5 and 6. It was also a nice touch that snacks were also available when we returned late in the evening. The only downside was the bathroom, which felt genuinely outdated. In addition, the thermostatic shower tap worked in reverse, making it difficult to regulate the water temperature and resulting in water that was far too hot.

Honestly a super nice hotel for Maastricht. Breakfast amazing, the free goodies are super nice! The location is perfect, but only remarks are maybe the rooms the mattress are a bit small or thin. But would definitely come back!

Lovely hotel in the center of Maastricht! Clean, friendly , air conditioning ! 36 degrees outside ! We slept well ! Free soup , drinks, fruits, cookies … nice bar !
