We stayed for 1 night for our babymoon while exploring Niagara On The Lake. The building is a dorm for the nearby college but functions as a hotel in the off-season, so the rooms were very basic and simple, however we knew that was what we were getting with the price (we wanted something cheaper as we weren't spending much time in the hotel vs. other nearby hotels that cost much more), so we were pleased. It had just what we needed for a short stay including a bathroom, bedrooms, and kitchenette. The location was good as it was only a 15-20 minute drive to NOTL and Niagara Falls for our activities, and having the outlet mall with fast food options essentially next door. The front desk staff were friendly and easy to check in and out with. There was lots of parking in the large parking lot. We had no complaints and would return for another visit in the future!

We have been going to this hotel on and off for the last twelve years. It’s well placed and there are outlets next to it. I have to admit that for the first time, we found that it looks rundown. It didn’t look as cleaned as it did before. In the past, they were two rooms with double beds. It’s now one room with a double beds and one room with two bunk beds. Those beds were not done at arrival, we had to make them. They are not the simplest to access. Only one room as a tv. We were missing a lightbulb. We asked for a new one but the new one didn’t fit. The person at the front desk was not friendly. Her colleagues were more professional. Parking is easy. It’s easy to access and it’s affordable. They clearly need to make some updates. As I understand that it is a student residence at the base, the switch to bunk beds is not a wise decision for the summer hotel.

Wanted to leave a review to highlight the wonderful staff. We had a minor issue with our room and Esther at the front desk went above and beyond to get it sorted out. The hotel itself is bare bones but if you need a clean, safe place with minimal amenities, this is the spot.

The day that I came in the receptionist Esther , was very caring , since I have a disability , I used my walker and helped with my luggages. Then , I met my caring Manager Jeff , so helpful , brought me to the Cafeteria of the College , where I did purchase my cooking food from the culinary department , which was exactly what I was looking for , healthy and tasty. Thanks to the manager Jeff and his caring staff . I will be back again and again.

The location was perfect and we enjoyed our stay to the area. Rooms are dated and could use some TLC but very clean and was all we needed. Your teaching winery was an added bonus!

The hotel is in a great location — it’s only about a 30-minute drive to both Niagara Falls and the town area. Compared with other hotels nearby, the price is very reasonable, and free parking is included. Since it’s a suite, the two double beds are separated, and microwave and refrigerator are available. If I have the chance to come back here again, I would definitely book this hotel again and recommend it to my friends.

The room was basic but it served our purpose. It was clean, equipped with what was necessary. The price was right, location was acessible and the staff were pleasant. We will stay there again if in the area....
