We stayed at Hotel Intergate Osaka Umeda for a few nights and it was a very comfortable base for exploring Osaka. The location is excellent, with easy access from Osaka/Umeda Station and a very convenient walk to the Airport Limousine Bus stop. The room was clean, modern, and nicely designed, and the high-floor view made the stay feel a little more special. I also liked the generous breakfast selection and the free happy hour touches in the evening, which were a pleasant surprise. The lounge and breakfast areas felt bright and well kept, and the rooftop spa/gym setup added to the overall experience. The room was a bit compact, and some of the hotel policies felt strict, but overall this is a polished and practical hotel that I’d happily stay at again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolute Perfection in Nishi-Umeda! I had an incredible stay at Hotel Intergate Osaka Umeda. Everything about this property exceeded my expectations, from the room placement to the continuous food and beverage offerings. * High-floor comfort: My room on the 17th floor offered stunning, peaceful city views and a quiet escape from the bustling streets below. * Relaxing amenities: The top-floor onsen (communal bath) was the perfect way to unwind and soothe my muscles after a long day of exploring Osaka. * Fitness corner: The 18th-floor gym is small and mostly features a Technogym treadmill along with a bike, but it was exactly what I needed for a quick morning run with a view. * Exceptional dining options: The food here is a massive highlight with so many options to choose from. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, and I loved that they offered light snacks and specialty coffee in the lounge right after breakfast hours. * Unbeatable lounge service: The complimentary lounge perks are unmatched! Enjoying a glass of wine during Happy Hour from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM was a great touch. To top it off, returning to the lounge from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM for the comforting ochazuke (rice soup) buffet and late-night snacks was the perfect end to every evening. The location in Nishi-Umeda is highly convenient for transit and shopping. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Osaka!

The location is unbeatable. You can travel to any places as the hotel is just a 5 min walk from the main Osaka Station. The room is a bit warm even though we set 19 degree. The pillow is either too soft or too hard. They are supposed to serve specialty coffee during certain hours, however, the staff said need to join the membership when we asked. Other than the above, this makes a good choice.

The overall impression of this hotel was mixed, and unfortunately it did not fully live up to the expectations created by the photos. In reality, the hotel looks dated, and this becomes noticeable as soon as you arrive.One of the advertised perks is free “special coffee”, but in practice this is limited to basic filter coffee only. In the evenings, the hotel offers complimentary rice with side dishes. While this may sound appealing, it results in long queues every night, creating a crowded and somewhat chaotic atmosphere. These freebies also seem to attract a specific type of guest, which negatively affects the overall experience.The room itself was spacious. However, cleanliness was disappointing. Although the room appeared superficially tidy, it did not feel truly clean. The carpet looked old and worn, and the seating area did not feel fresh enough to comfortably use. This significantly reduced the sense of comfort during the stay.The public bath was pleasant in terms of temperature and facilities, but it was extremely busy. Due to the high number of guests, cleanliness suffered here as well, as many visitors did not leave the area tidy after use. This made the experience less relaxing than expected.Overall, this is a very busy hotel, and that constant sense of crowding is noticeable at all times. While the hotel may appeal to travellers who value free extras and do not mind a lively environment, those looking for a calm, clean and comfortable stay may want to consider other options.

My daughter and I traveled from Mongolia, and our family joined us from Austria. We truly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Intergate Osaka. The room was quiet, comfortable, and spotlessly clean, making it the perfect place to relax after a busy day of sightseeing. Every staff member was friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. One of the highlights of our stay was the excellent food and lounge service throughout the day. We loved starting the morning with the fresh smoothies available from 6:00 a.m., followed by the delicious breakfast with a wide variety of choices. In the afternoon, we enjoyed the cakes and fresh fruit, and in the evening, the ochazuke (Japanese rice soup) was a wonderful and comforting treat. Everything we tried was fresh and delicious. The hotel is also conveniently located close to the metro, making it easy to explore Osaka and travel around the city. Thank you for making our family trip so enjoyable. We would definitely stay at Hotel Intergate Osaka again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Osaka.

Our check-in and check-out process was very smooth. The hotel is located close to major stations, which is a huge advantage. There are also plenty of shops and restaurants nearby in the underground area. We had a small problem with our first allocated room because the window faced a wall. However, the staff fixed this quickly. Our new room had a beautiful corner view, which made the space feel much larger. The hotel clearly labels food allergens, making it very easy to choose vegetarian options. There were plenty of vegetarian choices although bland. Like most places in Japan, the vegetarian meals lacked protein & variety, and this hotel compensated by providing eggs and chickpeas salad. The evening happy hour was a great bonus. They served drinks, snacks, and a portion of flavourful ochazuke.

The property is a 7-10 minute walk from Osaka station, which was easily routed via Google Maps & was easy for 2 middle-aged people who do a fair amount of walking. It's much closer to Nishi-Umeda station for further travel around the city. Rooms were clean & very nice. There was a small, booth-style seating area with table in each room. There were 2 pillows on each bed: a much more firm buckwheat pillow & a very soft pillow. Our two beds were pushed together in mine & my husband's room, or they can be separated as they were in our kid & their friend's room. I initially thought I had booked the rooms with tubs but when it turned out I had not, it was very easy to upgrade for a minimal price increase (¥1000 per room per night) to get the Japanese style shower/bath combo. Let me tell you it's WORTH IT. There is nothing like scrubbing clean while you fill your bath & then soaking in bath salts after a long day of walking around Osaka. ALWAYS go for the tub room! The air conditioner was difficult to figure out...until we realized there were instructions for it on the table. The lights & A/C work based on whether your key card is in the little slot by the door, so the A/C doesn't work while you're out. If you're American like us, this means you won't come back to a cold room. It didn't bother us, but I know some people really prefer that. I will say it cooled down quickly when we came back. Overall I found this an incredible price for this stay & I will absolutely choose Intergate again when we come back to Osaka.

We loved our stay at Intergate Hotel Osaka Umeda. Well located with a short walk to Osaka train station. Beautiful hotel with well appointed rooms. Has a gym with a treadmill, stepper and cycle. Comfortable king sized bed and pyjamas were so great. Food and drinks are available throughout the day into the evening in the lounge. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
