Google· a month ago⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an amazing stay at Andaz Pattaya Jomtien Beach and truly enjoyed every part of the experience. The private beach was beautiful, and I especially loved the infinity pool overlooking the ocean — perfect for enjoying the view without always having to get into the sand. The restaurants were delicious, and the breakfast buffet had an excellent variety of options each morning. What really stood out, though, was the service. Every staff member was friendly, welcoming, and consistently helpful from the moment I arrived. Everything felt very thoughtful and consistent throughout my stay. A special shoutout to M, who was especially memorable for his genuine friendliness and wonderful service. He really made me feel welcomed and taken care of. I was also celebrating my birthday during my visit, and the entire team went out of their way to make the occasion feel special. It was clear that everyone genuinely cared about creating a memorable experience. Overall, this was such a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Beautiful property, great food, exceptional service, and a team that truly makes you feel welcome. I would absolutely stay here again!

Google· 2 months ago⭐⭐ A beautiful hotel let down by a deeply disappointing service experience. The property itself is lovely and many of the staff clearly work extremely hard. Unfortunately, our overall experience was of a hotel where departments seemed disconnected, communication repeatedly broke down, and there was very little ownership when something went wrong. We arrived at 14:30 for a 15:00 check-in. Our room wasn't ready until around 16:30 and another family room until 17:00. I completely understand that the hotel was at 100% occupancy; the delay itself wasn't the issue. The problem was repeatedly being told another 15, 30 or 45 minutes rather than being given an honest expectation and helped accordingly. At one point my father, who uses a wheelchair, was left waiting in the heat rather than being helped somewhere comfortable and air-conditioned. We had also sent detailed guest and room arrangements around two weeks beforehand, yet at check-in different staff repeatedly asked different members of our family how many rooms we had and who was staying where. That evening, the spa called another member of our party at around 21:00 and then our suite multiple times at around 22:00 simply to confirm my wife's 11:00 appointment. We were travelling with a baby and five-year-old sleeping in different parts of the suite, with telephones close to both. I raised my disappointment with reception that night and made clear that I wasn't seeking compensation or an upgrade; I simply felt the experience deserved acknowledgement and an apology. I was promised that senior management would find me at breakfast from 07:30. Nobody approached me. When I eventually spoke with the Director of Rooms later the following day, I was told multiple attempts had been made to find us, despite us being at breakfast until 08:30 and in our room for almost the entire day. Ultimately it was Pat, the F&B Manager, who proactively chased the matter and helped connect us with the Director of Rooms. And Pat deserves particular recognition. Most of these issues had nothing to do with F&B, yet Pat consistently took ownership, communicated across departments and genuinely tried to recover our stay. He even helped us carry our pram down to our room and remembered my wife's favourite dessert, arranging for her to take some back with her. Small things, perhaps, but they felt personal and thoughtful. Pat demonstrated exactly the kind of hospitality we had been missing elsewhere: listen, take ownership and act. He didn't just provide excellent F&B service; he made a genuine effort to recover our experience of the entire hotel. We stay at luxury hotels regularly and don't expect perfection. Things go wrong. What determines whether we return is how a hotel responds when they do. Andaz Pattaya Jomtien is a beautiful property with some hardworking and genuinely caring people. Unfortunately, our experience was of a service system that didn't consistently enable those people to deliver hospitality at the level the property promises. Pat was the striking exception and deserves recognition. Sadly, despite how much we liked the property itself, we would be unlikely to return.

Google· 2 months agoThis was our family’s third stay at Andaz Pattaya Jomtien Beach, and compared with our first two visits, this one was disappointing. To be fair, the dining experience was the highlight of this stay. Compared with our previous visits, the overall food and beverage experience had improved noticeably. The restaurant team also deserves special recognition. They were warm, attentive, and especially welcoming to families with young children. Unfortunately, the overall guest experience did not meet the standard we had come to expect. We arrived shortly before the official check-in time, but our room was still not ready. When we got out of the car at the hotel entrance, we immediately noticed a strong smell of marijuana. More importantly, we later smelled it twice around the patio directly outside our Pool Access Room—once that afternoon and again the following morning. As parents traveling with a two-year-old, this was especially upsetting. What frustrated us most was the hotel’s initial response. Instead of first asking whether we would like to move to another room, we were told that someone would look into it. Later, we were informed that no one had been found smoking. Unfortunately, that did little to address our concern or give us confidence that the issue had actually been resolved. We were not looking for compensation or special treatment. We simply expected the hotel to offer a practical solution, and in this situation, asking whether we would like to change rooms would have been the most appropriate response. To the hotel’s credit, the situation improved after we met with the Guest Experience Assistant Manager in person. She listened carefully, acknowledged that the situation should have been handled differently, and agreed that a room change should have been offered much earlier. We politely declined the offers of a late checkout and a room upgrade during this stay because those were never the point. She later followed up by email and offered a complimentary room upgrade on a future visit. While I do not believe upgrades or other gestures are what matter most in a situation like this, her sincerity, willingness to listen, and genuine effort to make things right did make a real difference. We came back three times because of the service we experienced during our first two stays—not because of loyalty status, points, or complimentary upgrades. That is also why we recommended this hotel to our family and friends. This stay simply did not reflect the level of service we had come to expect. Although the management made a genuine effort to recover the situation, I still believe the best guest experience is one where service recovery is never needed in the first place. I was disappointed by this stay, but the sincerity of the Assistant Manager, together with the warmth and professionalism of the restaurant team, is the reason I have not completely given up on this hotel. Hopefully, there will still be another visit in the future.

Google· 4 months agoWe had a wonderful stay at Andaz Pattaya while celebrating my fiancée’s birthday. The grounds were absolutely beautiful, incredibly well maintained, and you could tell a lot of care goes into every detail of the property. The food across the restaurants was excellent, and breakfast each morning was especially well done with a great selection and quality throughout. What stood out most to us though was the service. Every staff member we interacted with was attentive, genuine, and truly hospitable. The team went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay and helped make the birthday celebration feel extra special from start to finish. Thank you to the entire staff for such a memorable experience. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

Google· 2 months agoBeautiful hotel with excellent service, spotless cleanliness, stunning gardens and pools, a lovely private beach, and a wonderful spa. The location is also perfect for visiting the nearby botanical gardens. A special thank you to Executive Chef Roberto parentela , who was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, and to Liza, who provided such personal and caring service, always checking on us and making sure everything was perfect. They truly made our stay even more memorable. The only downsides were the long wait for breakfast because the hotel couldn’t accommodate the number of guests, and the very limited smoking areas, which made the stay less convenient for smokers. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend Andaz Pattaya.

Google· 2 months agoA beautiful place with wonderful people and fantastic service. Everyone, from the moment we arrived had been amazing. PK has helped us settle in and facilitated specific dining needs; going above and beyond by meeting us during our walk to the restaurant making sure everything was as it should be when we arrived. Palm, the gentleman that guided us through both a walking meditation session and yoga class was equal parts thoughtful and encouraging. The room we were in was beautifully organized with thoughtful touches throughout the space and Sai Pan, the young lady that prepared our room often saw to it that we were never in need of anything. Tripadvisor· a month agoI had a pleasant stay at Andaz Pattaya and really liked the overall design and atmosphere. The soft amenities and details in the room are well thought out, although the room itself is quite small. On the hardware side, however, I felt the room was somewhat inferior to some of its peers in this price segment. The biggest positive surprise was the breakfast. The variety, quality and presentation were all much better than I expected, and I would consider breakfast one of the hotel's key strengths. It is genuinely one of the reasons I would consider returning. Food at Fish Club and Cucina was less impressive for me. I found both restaurants rather plain in terms of flavour and overall experience. Wok Wok, on the other hand, was much better in terms of taste, quality and value for money. My main concern is the relatively limited resort facilities. I wonder how the experience would feel when the hotel is operating at high occupancy. The gym, onsen and beach area could potentially become quite crowded, which may make the resort feel more mass-market than I would expect from an Andaz at this price level. At rates starting around USD 300 per night in Thailand, I would expect a little more space and facilities to make the resort comfortable for a longer stay. I can particularly imagine this becoming an issue during the rainy season, when there are fewer outdoor options and guests may spend more time within the resort—for example, even finding a comfortable place to spend time while the room is being cleaned could be challenging. Overall, I enjoyed the stay, especially the design and breakfast, but for me the resort currently works better as a short getaway than as a longer stay. There is a lot to like, but the facilities and hardware need to be stronger to fully justify the positioning and price.

The staff were very friendly and attentive, which made the experience even more special. The room was comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully designed. Overall, I was truly impressed and would definitely love to come back again.
