Unfortunately, I encountered some very rude behavior from both Croatian and Slovenian employees, particularly in the dining area and front desk. There were no greetings, smiles, or basic friendly gestures, which made the atmosphere feel very unwelcoming. The food was another major disappointment. The quality was poor, the food was not tasty, and the selection was very limited. There should be a much better variety and enough food available for all guests. If you are considering staying here, I would recommend eating elsewhere rather than spending extra money on the hotel's dining options. I was also disappointed to learn that the bar is now charged separately, whereas it was apparently included in the past. Considering the overall quality and the prices, I do not feel that the hotel offers good value for money anymore. Overall, this hotel is far too expensive for what it provides. The level of professionalism suggests that additional staff training is needed in the kitchen and staff members. There are many other places where you can stay and receive much better service, food, and value. The hotel was very disappointing and, in my opinion, does not provide the quality or service I have experienced at other European hotels.

First of all, there was a blood stain on the pillow. Not only this, but the air conditioning doesn't work. They even booked us the wrong room, we booked a twin room, they gave us a double room. The staff really couldn't care, terrible service and incompetence. Had to spend most of it complaining as they just don't take a guest's experience seriously.

Put us in the wrong room, booked a twin room whichn it said in their system but it's a double single bed. The staff couldn't give a rat's arse and the best they could say was try again tomorrow at 10am, no desire to resolve the issue. Just terrible service all round and the the hotel is very hard to find.

Our room was the second floor and the sightsee from the room was awful.|The pillow is too high, it is unfortable. There were no sheets on the duvet. The central coolig/heating control was difficult. The parking was 15 Euro/day in august, and the opened parking place was terrible, like a village yard, narrow, crowded and dangerous. Maybe it would cheepar and better anywhere else.|It is not four stars hotel for me. It is about 150m for the 5* Hotel Metropol and we can used all oppurtinity of this hotel: pool, sauna, eating. It was quite good. The food was variability and good. The two hotels together probably deserve 4* for us.

Lovely experience. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised by the welcome drink upon arrival – such a nice touch! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, which we really appreciated given the warm weather. Breakfast was also excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. The only small issues we had were figuring out how to turn on the shower – it wasn't very intuitive – and we felt that the cleanliness in the bathroom could have been a little better. Other than that, everything was great and we would definitely recommend this hotel!

Terrible accommodation option. It is far away from the main reception which is in the main building of Metropol hotel. Breakfast is not in this building as well. Dark path that leads to this building in the night. The smell of mold. High humidity. Bad view in most of the room option. Some rooms are for stuff or long term tenants. It does not have a 4 feel but more of a scam impression. Prices are way too high to value. Cleaning was not proper and there is obvious management issue here.

We stayed here for 6 days. The rooms are standard, nice overall. We were waiting 2 days for the cleaning staff to come (with the paper outside on the doorknob), but we were ignored. Tried to call the reception several times for clean towels - nobody picked up the phone. We basically had to fetch the towels ourselves. Definitely not a 4* hotel experience…even the main hotel, that is supposed to be a 5* hotel, is not even close to 5 stars… Food was average. The hotel bar closes at 11pm - we were not served at 10:45pm, because the barista lady told us that she already closed the counter 😫 Pretty disappointing… The spa is very nice though. At the check in we received 0 information about the facilities, so we has to figure everything about by ourselves. For example, we had no idea that the big pool closer to the beach was free of charge for the guests. On our first night, we could not use the parking area (that costs 13€ per day) because it was full…I mean, what?!?!?! :) A 4* hotel does not have their own parking area? Joke. Otherwise, the restaurant staff was always super nice and friendly! The main host/restaurant manager was especially friendly and always in a good mood.

We had a great time in this hotel. Rooms are specious and equipped with everything you might need. We had HB and liked the choice of food and enjoyed eating on the terrace with the beautiful view. Reception was very friendly and professional and it was easy to find parking. We will definitely come back.
