AT A GLANCE
Why go?
The Druskininkai Musical Fountain is Lithuania's most celebrated water-and-light spectacle, set in the heart of Spa Park along Vilniaus Avenue. Every hour during the warm season, programmed jets choreograph to music while coloured lights paint the mist — and visitors can even commission their own melody by text message.↗↗
With a 4.8-star rating from more than 6,400 reviews and over 11,000 photographs, this is the resort town's defining public space and the default meeting point for locals and holidaymakers alike.↗↗
A Three-Part Story in Water
The fountain is no simple ring of jets. Its composition tells a story: a polished granite sphere, buoyant on a film of water and easily spun by hand, marks the spring source; a long, low stream with stepped cascades represents flow; and the circular main bowl gathers the energy, where the tallest and most dynamic jet choreography unfolds. The three-part sequence is symbolic of the resort's relationship with its mineral waters.↗
