Ngermeaus
Ngermeaus is a small, inviting island in the heart of Palau's Rock Islands Southern Lagoon — a UNESCO World Heritage area — beloved as one of the most relaxing and popular stops on any island tour. Its gently shelving sandy beach lets you snorkel with tropical fish using nothing more than a mask, while just offshore it earns the local nickname 'Shark City' for the steady presence of blacktip reef sharks. Despite its small size, Ngermeaus packs remarkable variety: a family-friendly shallow side, a drop-off side favoured by beginner divers, toilet and shelter facilities rare among the Rock Islands, and a view across the water toward giant clams protected on the reef beyond.
